Fantastic day out with a 6 & 4 yr old!
Staff were all lovely, no charge for children under 16 and only £5 per adult for all day entry.
Really good mixture of things to look at and also things to press/pull/pump for the little (and big) ones. Really lovely setup and I'm pleased that we were able to support them.
Cafe was excellent, very reasonably priced and the food was superb and all freshly made.
We will happily visit again!

Dogs are allowed into the Museum but not the cafe

Very interesting and some very knowledgeable staff and helpers. A little slow on entry but good to see a younger girl helping. Will go again on a steam day.

A fantastic day out for ALL. Even if you're not into engineering, it's well worth a visit. Don't take my word for it.

As a volunteer just enjoy making a better place for next generation, lots of history and great for young and old to just chill and play with stuff

Interesting museum with working displays. Look out for days such as the Steam Punk weekend!

An interesting museum, especially on steam days when the engines are working. There are a few interactive exhibits to play with. Most of the museum is accessible to people with mobility issues although the ground outside is uneven. The only downside was the catering. There's a small cafe that serves drinks and light refreshments. The filled rolls and cakes were ok, but the coffee was awful.

Very interesting museum.

Went to a "in steam" day. Great to see so many engines fired up. Plenty to read as you walk round the exhibit. Plenty of staff and a small outside area for kids to play.

There was an extensive collection of working steam engines. Told the story of drinking water a real eye opener. Indoor and out door displays. I particularly liked the largeThree Cylinder engine. Would recommend for adults and children alike.

Delightfully interesting if one likes old machinery especially when in steam. In July a Gala Day takes place with a display of Classic cars, machines in steam and local band playing. A parade of cars moved off through Hereford to collect the Mayor.

Interesting place. All about engines. Didn't see steam unfortunately, would have liked to.

What a lovely place, everybody on site so very helpful and friendly, well worth a visit if you are on the area, especially if you have an interest in old engineering. Thank you to the volunteers who run this gem of a place for all the help and assistance with dad.
