Reviews of Royal Albert Dock Liverpool
c. e.
Stunning place for a cheeky weekend away. Lots on offer. Various restaurants, museums (free!), shops, drinking venues and the Beatles story museum too. Great parking close by. Super atmosphere. Even had a lush hot chocolate on a bus! Statues and culture galore. A must see if you visit Liverpool for sure.
J. M.
Nice area to stroll around. Nice coffee shops and different little craft shops and sweetie shop to visit. Nice clean toilets in Gallery. Visited on a wet, grey day but imagine it would be a lovely area to sit at in good weather.
M. T.
The Albert Dock is a beautiful area to relax, go to dinner or just have a walk. It boasts some lovely shops and places to dine. Well worth a trip
M. J.
A windy experience but what should I have expected on given weather reports. The docks were clean and inviting. Absolutely recommended, particularly Lerpwl restaurant and bar. Now that certainly was a super venue.
G. S.
Loved this place. Very calm and soothing environment. You could take a walk alongside the river Mercy. Or you can also visit the Dock. The view from this place is very scenic and gives a very good background to take good pictures. This is a must visit place if you are visiting Liverpool. Walkable from the lime Street train station
s. b.
Great views, restaurants and interesting shops. Bit blowy but views for an ex merchant brat .... fond memories. A life well lived Dad and a great revisit
C. G.
Loved visit here. Much to see. Plenty of snack vans to eat, all clean and unique, ie a double decker bus. Well worth a visit, recommend it. Plenty of seats, you can get food and sit and eat there. Icecreams etc. Lovely cobbled road, all old and inviting, gorgeous black old fashioned Street lights. Many interesting statues ships in dry Dock and much more. You can then continue left to walk alongside the Mersey if you wish. All of this costs nothing, except your refreshments. All of Liverpool just as good, but that's another review. Fantastic day out, will re-visit.
C. S.
Lovely place but windy at times and has will chill, wrap up warm but great bars , restaurants and shop ...expect to pay tourist prices. But a must if you visit liverpool
R. G.
Amazing premier inn probably one of the best in the chain I have been to and iv tried a few. The building is stunningly situated in the albot docks area with good access to all the main things needed. The inside is very original and if you like the old metal beams and clean brick interior it's a must place to stay. Would love to give it 5 star but as most there is some down sides. The old floors are noisy so I got woken up just from people walking past our room and they weren't even talking, we didn't get offered parking so had to do the half mile walk with baby and suit cases.
S. P.
Interesting place to visit and only a short walk from the cruise terminal if you've arrived via ship and weather was damp and you'll pass the museum on route.
Plenty of little bespoke shops, cafes and coffee shops, a 30 minute cruise on a boat.
Around the dock edge is also undercover.
R. B.
A bustling place to visit alone or with kids. Many things to see and do. Visit a museum or The Tate. Remember to book tickets online for the gallery. Very energetic and lively. A great atmosphere.
R. M.
Located on Liverpool’s incredible World Heritage Site waterfront, the Albert Dock holds the title of being one of the most visited tourist attractions in the whole of the UK. It houses retail stores, museums, galleries and a huge range of venues to eat and drink.
The dock complex was officially opened in 1846 by Albert, Prince Consort, husband of Queen Victoria and the man in honour of whom it was named. It was the first occasion in Liverpool's history in which a member of the Royal Family had made a state visit to the city.
Plenty of parking space around.
D. B.
Beautiful old buildings. No where like it in the UK that I have ever seen. Most of the things around it are free to do and there is no lack of food and drinks. But of a pain with a wheelchair and the cobbles but it's not like they can dig up the historical streets. But you can get around most of it.
R. B.
Star of the trip (apart from the Beatles sites). Excellent river front walks, visit pier head and take in the ferry, view the Liver Building from the outside and take a roof top tour.of course you always have the famous four statues right outside the museum of Liverpool. Another interesting place is the maritime and Slavery museum. Drink in all the old dock buildings and visit the Tate gallery.Wonderful place.
V. I. M.
It is good to spend a good time there and if have to drive to get there make sure that you feed the parking 🚇 meter for a few hours to enjoy and have good experience of the place and enjoy a meal or two. You have Tate gallery the most beautiful museums the 🚍 bus and 🛥 boat trips the shops and seeing some shops of Liverpool that are walking distance from the docks.
j. m.
This is a lovely area to stroll around and visit. The area is mainly restaurants and bars but there is a few gift shops and the Tate museum too. Very busy at weekends and absolutely buzzing atmosphere. Can recommend Smugglers Cove restaurant as food here was lovely. Would also recommend booking tables in advance at restaurants as so many people being turned aways as restaurants full.
I. K.
Always something to see and do. New artworks turning up alongside the old ones continue to keep this place feeling fresh. Was very busy so if you're concerned about covid then stick to later times.
M. P.
Didn't know what to expect but I absolutely fell in love with the way those historical dockyards have been transformed into this lively social and cultural hub , where everyone can find something to do, eat or drink (regardless of age, weather or interests) . I have been lucky enough to be there when the light installation lit up for the first time . Definitely will go back 👍
E. L.
Fab place to have a wander around. Lots of eatery choices and took a lovely little boat ride on the "Princess". 30 minute round trip £7 for adults and takes card which is good.
M. M.
Lovely place to explore.... Not really anything for the tiny ones... For example no parks but we did go on a boat ride with a history lesson. Plenty of hotels in close proximity. @maxieslimminjections
M. M.
A beautiful and charming place to take a walk. A place with a great history, if you are in Liverpool you must visit this place!
J. C.
The Dock is a brilliant place to visit. There are fantastic views across the water along with landmarks which commentate important figures and events. The museums and the Tate are situated here (the slavery museum being my number 1 place to go) alongside restaurants and bars with something for everyone. Sadly, the Dock recently lost it's heritage status, don't let this deter you though, it's an outstanding place to visit.
W. S.
Beautiful surroundings, plenty to do,bus tour, ferry across the Mersey & Beatles museum. Plenty places to eat & not too expensive. Hotels are well situated near the docks & 5 min walk from city centre...
M. A.
Great mix of the Old and New buildings together, they somehow compliment each other. You can tell care has gone into the areas planning. Definitely worth a visit
A. R.
Love it here at the Albert Dock.
I really miss the Flyboarding at the Mersey River Festival and watching the 007 superhero training in Salthouse Dock like he did a few years ago.
I remember him at the Craig Charles concert too in a fantastic light suit.... AMAZING.
D. C.
Fantastic place to visit with lots going on from restaurants to experiances. We plan to return and stay in the area at one of the hotels to explore more
J. H.
Royal Albert Dock was lovely to walk around, it was clean and tidy with council workers going around. Can take some lovely photos and enjoy the scenery
L. H.
Went at 5:30 in the morning (to see the non existant sunrise) and it looked amazing in the dark!
There are also lots of amazing shops/museums/ food stops along the Dock to explore, all of them look amazing!
l. b.
Excellent stay in the Jurys Inn hotel.
Lots of bars and restaurants in a short walking distance and plenty of buses to get around. M and S Arena opposite the hotel. Love the area.
c. j.
Lovely place on sea front, plenty of cafes, shops and views of the river...
S. T.
This is a fantastic place e to be located. Lots of hotels round this area, and plenty public parking places.
R. B.
A beautiful evening during the weekend in the Albert Dock. Most bars are now staying open later due to restrictions being lifted.
We spent the evening in a gorgeous cocktail bar called: Lerpwl.
Very picturesque and a must visit if you come to Liverpool.
C. B.
Great place to wander around. Lots of bars and restaurants and a few little gift shops. Great views over the waterfront too.
N. S.
Nice area to explore with plenty to see. Boat trips are available. Lots of sculptures and artwork around the Dock to see. Live music and a lively atmosphere. Great place with lots of history still visible.
C. T.
Enjoyable day at the maritime and world museum, tasty noodles then a wander round the lights , enjoyable day for the everyone, adult, teenager and titanic obsessed 5 year old, well worth a visit
L. W.
Loved visiting Royal Albert Dock. Got some Beatles memorabilia, and yummy fudge and souvenirs. Must go back 💕
R. J.
Love it and it looks lovely at night. A lovely place for an evening walk.
G. M.
Really loved walking around the docks. Heartwarming to see all the work gone into saving a big part of Liverpool's history. So much choice of places to eat, and lovely unusual shops.
L. M.
Absolutely love it here.
So relaxing and therapeutic on an evening.
There is an amazing bar/restaurant on the docks called Matou, that do fantastic cocktails too - with a fabulous view 😍
T.
Parking is difficult and pricey however it is right at the docks so convenient if you're going for an outing. Lots to do an see including Beetles Story and a museum. Nice eateries. Only loses a star as parking is quite limited and strangely designed which can cause confusion for tourists and no one around to help direct traffic flow.
K. F.
We have a walk around most Sundays, love getting our lunch from Rough Bake and finding a bench outside and enjoying the views, it's Ruby's favourite place 💙
D. I.
Love it. Many great art and culture places around, if rain and wind, go hiding in any of them.
V. S.
Spent a lovely afternoon walking around Albert Dock Liverpool. Called in The Tate
Art Gallery, there's a Lucian Freud exhibition on currently. I always enjoy a day out in L 'pool
M. M.
Excellent place for a visit, an overnight stay or to eat..
Really interesting pity the weather was a bit windy, but still pleased we went.
A. D.
Always a great thing to visit somewhere for the first time and we had a chance to travel up tyke Mersey and throw a Beatles bus tour within 6 hours. I would definitely visit again
P. E.
I love visiting the docks. The buildings are magnificent and there's a real sense of history there. The Maritime Museum and Tate are great places to visit too. Unfortunately, some of the more interesting shops have been lost and there are more eating and drinking places than shops these days. Among the remaining shops there are sadly, too many tacky souvenir shops.
M. H.
Well worth a visit, lots to see. Good food and drink available.
The Beatles open top bus tour is a must, a great way to get some fresh air 😀
P. A.
It's my 4th time visiting Liverpool Albert Docks.
I like revisiting the Beatles History.
Lovely restaurants around Albert Docks.
Enjoyable Tour once again.!!

G. K.
Lovely experience and loads of interesting shops and restaurants but a few were empty probably since the pandemic
G. O.
Absolutely brilliant. Bitingly cold on the waterfront but dry with flashes of sun. A variety of shops and open restaurants. Not crowded in the dock area. Plenty going on and lots of great as well as interesting buildings + architecture in the immediate vicinity. With it being not so busy plenty of opportunity for a mooch around in the shops.
R. B.
Really enjoyed the Beatles Museum. A great interactive experience. Tremendous value for money. Top class day out.
R. C.
One of my all time favourite places to go, whether it's for food, drink or just a walk... It's beautiful to look at and you'll always find something for everyone here! It's situated in one of the most stunning parts of Liverpool, not to mention it boasts many museums and has the infamous Tate Gallery.
v. b. (.
Love it here. Yes it's touristy but that's the whole point. Some fantastic eateries and coffee houses here too... smuggler's cove, Miller & Carter, one o'clock gun, porters, reubens, rough handmade bakery, not to mention the cafes within Tate gallery and Maritime museum. Also lots of little static vehicle outlets such as So Greek Full, the London bus cafe, and not forgetting the Pumphouse Inn.
RAD and the Pier Head are ALWAYS worth a visit, even for a local like me!
L. H.
Lovely place to see whilst visiting Liverpool weather wasn't great when we were there so we didn't hang around long loved the barges that were docked and seeing the large cruise ship that was docked as well lovely bars and restaurants all round the area too
a. c.
Had a nice walk around the pretty lit up docks after visiting the Lucian Freud and Mackenzie exhibitions at the Tate. Very nice pubs and restaurant to suit every taste.

Amazing place, Liverpool lives up to it's name with Liver Birds and all.
Filming of Silent Witness added to the excitement of the day.
A. W.
Fantastic location. Multitude of decent bars and restuarant, a really lovely setting
B. S.
Beautifully renovated dockland space, totally embraced Liverpool's culture and has a great bunch of little shops and galleries... and a Tate! A must visit if you are in Liverpool.
L. W.
Excellent as always although a bit crowded this weekend because of the makers market. I feel that it could have been better placed in one of the more open areas to allow better opportunities for social distancing.
S. T.
Gorgeous docks and lovely little gift shops.
J. G.
Coming back again and will be recommending to friends! Liverpool has it all...modern architecture, history, sea, leasure...obsoletely loved my short visit, haven't seen it all, but some pictures below to get you inspired! :)

D. S.
Fantastic, chilled out experience.
The food was lovely, choose from a good choice of Main restaurants with all the cuisines, or just opt any of the cafe's or alfresco bars that line the dock. A lot of couples were just sitting at the waterside with a coffee or a wine and just people watch.... so so chilaxing..
b. f.
Great place... Merseyside maritime museum was amazing!! The double swing bridge is fascinating...
R. T.
Came up to see the monster trucks at the arena. PLEASE bring change for parking.Machines Don't take notes... Card payments is also hit and miss. But staff very friendly and helpful, and understanding. The dock area has a good variety of shops and places to eat. Also an area where you felt safe walking around at night... Will return for a longer visit.
Y. D.

The Albert dock is one of the most iconic attractions of any water front. Its laced with bars clubs and restaurants and a couple of great hotels. Parking at the Albert dock is a little bit expensive 6 quid odd for just in 2 hrs. But apart from that nice and clean and well maintained.

J. G.
I travelled to Liverpool with my husband for the first time ever. We went to film my role in a feature film trailer about Slavery. The next day, 3rd June 2021, we went visiting the sites. Liverpool docks was amazing and the International Slavery Museum was awesome, so much to see and learn about Liverpool's role in the transatlantic Slave Trade. We passed the Beetles Museum but didn't get a chance to go in as we had to get our train back to London. We definitely want to go back to Liverpool and see the sites we missed out on. I'd definitely recommend a visit. 😊👍🏼
D. B.
Abit busy after covid and now £16 to peep in the Beatles museum..was free last time I went

Excellent tourist attraction for the city of liverpool its ram packed with shops boutiques bars and restaurants, such as Miller and Carter , smugglers cove and gusto to mention a small few. Even has a couple of hotels in close proximity. Come night time it's a lovely to walk around and soak in the views. There is parking available but your charged by the hr I think for 2hrs parking it's something like 6 or 7 quid.
D. Ö. A.
When I went there I saw three things living together. Amazing seaside (even though you can't swim there), fantastic cultural buildings(have really nice museums), and fun (have really cool pubs, bars and clubs). On the other hand, I really enjoyed with talk to local people. They're very friendly, everyone smiling from their heart, open minded, and also very welcoming.

Lots of walking but plenty to see well worth it.
D. H.
Wow this area was fantastic, and the hub to next adventure of the city.. amazing atmosphere
P. M.
Loads to do here but not really a place to go shopping more for bars, restaurants and the beatles
P. C.
Great place to visit with lots of places to eat.
Loved it.
t. o.
Interesting place, liked some of the architecture in the area but it was very windy and cold.
Will go back but only in the warmer months, think I'll enjoy it more.
K. J.
Lovely, tons of seating, shops, things to do as a couple, but wouldn't necessarily reccomend it to families with young toddlers as it gets very busy
R. T.
Lovely place to wind down and relax or start a night out
T. B.
A great place for exploring the historical side of an awesome city. The Beatle statues are a great photo opportunity and the ferry crossing is well worth the money. Plenty to do at the docks and just across the road you can visit the shopping centre Liverpool one. But just chill near the pier head watching life go by it's worth a visit.
M. L.
Great location for cafe, restaurants, Tate Gallery and Museums. Easy to walk around and views of the docks and river only a short walk from ferry terminal.
K. F. (.
Lovely place in the day, we went on a boat ride,(princess) which it was their 1st day and we was their 1st customers which was great. we also walked down to the docks at night and it was so pretty as it was a lit up. Great dinning and drinking places too
S. H.
If you want to enjoy the sunset, come to Albert dock.
Don’t miss the statue of beetles!!
A lively place with youngsters enjoying skateboarding
B. R.

D. R.
Took my sister round for the first time she thourghly enjoyed it and will be back despite the rain
A. C.
Visited in August and it was very busy. Lots of restaurants and a few shops to explore
S.
Fantastic old place built about 1850s. Lot of really nice restaurants and small shops catering for everyone's needs. Recommend to visit the site. There is lot of parking spaces available at large waterfront park and new opened one next to it. Parking for up to 5 hours is £8.
b. r.
Whilst visiting Liverpool often on various coach holidays the docks are always worth visiting. Lively and vibrant, with plenty of places for a snack or a more substantial meal. With a large area of water being central to the docks not much seems to happen on it. No casual canoeing or even rowing boats, maybe too dangerous.
There are museums, free and some requiring an entry fee. In a summer the number of visitors does seem to overwhelm the walking area but the winter means that you have to wrap up well from the biting wind off the Mersey. Yes you could easily just while away an hour or two by just wandering around.
Many of the old warehouses have been lovingly restored but there are other considerations, a trip across the Mersey maybe, but on nice day a stroll along the waterfront is well worth the effort. On the odd occasion a large cruise ship may be at anchor a sight on its own, however do they stay afloat? On any given summers day some kind of activity is on the go, information is usually available in leaflets.
Along with the many bars and restaurants there are a few independent food stalls, one being a former double decker bus. Buskers are also a feature, not all that bad either, but we were fortunate to be in Liverpool when the Cunard 'Queen' liners were visiting. Now that was something and being some kind of celebration it is highly unlikely that it will ever occur again.
V. E.
My all-time favourite place to walk in Liverpool. Non-corona times there’s plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to go to, and even in with the pandemic there’s still the independent stalls right by the dock side (can’t recommend the donuts enough!). It’s gorgeous when it’s quiet and still, and even more stunning at sunset. There’s also the Tate museum located right in the docks, which is greatly enjoyable even for those who aren’t particularly artistic. If you’re coming to Liverpool, you haven’t REALLY been to Liverpool until you’ve seen Albert Dock.
G. H.
First time in Liverpool with partner and we both loved it. The valentines touches around the docks was lovely. We are looking at our next trip there
G. F.
Really good place to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. Plenty of places open and easy to visit. Liverpool museum was very interesting and then a picturesque walk along the front.
J.
Impressed with the beautiful view and surroundings, worth a visit.

A. G. Z.

L. W.
Lovely place to visit plenty museums and restaurants nearby
D. “. g. G.
Nice place to visit but it's mainly eating and drinking
J. S.
Nice place to walk around and lots to see. Plenty of places all along to stop and have a drink, snack, or a nice sit down dinner. Very easy to spend 5-6 hours walking all around this area and up near city centre. Taxi's, buses, hotels, all within easy reach. I'd only recommend going when it is a bit warmer than late January.
M. G.
Nice tourist attraction and very good fish and chips shops. Worth a visit while in Liverpool.
S.
Great place for a weekend or city break. Lots to see and do and the museums are excellent. Sadly the top floor of the Liverpool museum was closed when we visited but it would have been hard to fit everything into 2 days anyway. Lots of eaterys, pubs and cafes to eat and drink and a friendly cheerful atmosphere in everywhere we visited.
P. R.
We stopped here on a cruise and just fell in love with the place.
The people are so friendly.
L.
Beautiful. Spacious, clean, great atmosphere.

L. R.
great charm of a beautiful conversion of a liverpool historic site, the harbor is teeming with shops and restaurants! definitely worth a visit to this liverpool place
M. B.
River of light was great as always, but was absolutely rammed. So if you're no great around crowds or can't police yourself to keep a reasonable distance from other people, then it may not be for you.
j. T.
Great buzz, fish and chos expensive though. Lots to see and do, people watching too.
R. D.
Iconic Dock. Recognisable from 1980s TV.
Great selection of restaurants and bars. Lunyalita is my favourite. Tapas by the water.
Museums and galleries on site.
It’s a credit to those involved that this place was saved.
I.
Beautiful place and city , people’s are so kind and helpful, food choices are limited though I will visit again and again 😎
L. P.
Great place to stroll round. Museum was interesting and free! Coffee. Ice cream. Fish & chips. Bars. Or watch the mighty Mersey as it rushes to the sea. Lovely place. Clean. Vibrant.
M. S.
Plenty of places to eat and drink. Nice to have a walk round and get some fresh air.
I. P. S.
Lot of fresh air, waterfront and enjoyable area, eating areas and play areas for children. Carousel closed these days. Nice sculptures and walks.
A. H.
Beautiful place to sit and relax and watch the water. Don’t go if there’s a theatre on nearby or event, as times will clash making your experience not so peaceful. Really quiet and chill after dark.
L. D.
Great place to visit, full o restaurants and shops. Many activities on dock like, water bicycle, longboat tours etc
B. T.
One of the most beautiful places in Liverpool! Mandatory stop for tourists. Worth knowing! It is a mixture of the city's history with the modern (new buildings built around) ...
S. S.
Brilliant walk around with loads of places to eat and so many landmarks. Also had a boat tour and plenty of parking around.
P. H.
Love the Albert Dock great food great little shops nearly back to how it was a few years ago would recommend to anyone who wanted to come to Liverpool
S. K.
Nice place for a walk, plenty of history 👍
O. E.
Always great to see just a shame parking is expensive otherwise I’d probably go more often.
W. W.
Worth a visit. Beautiful with the Christma lights but equally beautiful during the day. Theresa at the gift shop was incredible, great knowledge and did a super job as ambassador for her city. Thank you.
P. W.
All prepared for tourists so must be fine.
R. S.
The place to roam around in liverpool. To cold and breeze in winter. But we can see magnificent views of buildings suitable for photoshoots.
D. “. J.
Wow a really big wow. My first ever time taking in the wonderful sights of Liverpool. We dropped into the Tate gallery for one of the exhibition's which was perfect, after a quick coffee we took in the surroundings. Shops, bars and various places selling memorabilia make up that which is Royal Albert Dock. Imagination can take you back to when it was a thriving busy docks unloading ships from all over the globe. Visit, you will not be disappointed.
P. S.
Good historical old part of Liverpool very close to the main shopping district in the City. Plenty to do for free including the Tate gallery and museums. Wide range of cafes and restaurants and during the day a few shops too. Well worth a visit!
S. G.
Lovely place. Eateries expensive, but it is a city .
B. F. S. D. R. E. B.
I absolutely love this place, and can't wait to come back. The museums are amazing, especially the Merseyside Maritime Museum. Of course, there's a Beatles museum too, and the International Slavery Museum. Just strolling the docks where millions and millions of people departed the long trip to America was quite an experience. My dad was one of them, so it naturally meant a lot to me, but Liverpool is a World Heritage Site because the the history and architecture of the docks. We stayed within walking distance which is a good idea. There are several really good restaurants, and a handful of creative coffee shops.
A. M.
A Tuesday visit, quiet and relaxing walk around the Dock area with a visit to The Maritime Museum which houses a Titanic Exhibition and Slavery Museum. 5hrs parking £8 even for Blue Badge holders!!!
J. H.
Nice areas, worth to visit.
A. Z.
Lots to do here. The Beatles Experience was very good, even for a Beatles freak like me. I knew almost all of the info displayed but it was layed out nicely. It seemed a bit out of order with displays from Magical Mystery Tour to Let It Be. But that didn't detract from the experience. And a great gift shop.
G. C.
Great place lots of development free wi fi new cruise terminal. Statue to our greatest ww2 sub hunter
J. M.
This place has changed a lot over the years ! Just great to walk around checking out shops , museums, galleries and restaurants!! Go see for yourself.
J. S.
This wonderful use of a former docks area has such a vibe to it. Souvenir shops, eateries, places to enjoy a quiet drink or simply to stroll and take everything in. Liverpool has so much history and so many stories to tell. The museums and tales of people setting out for the new world from these shores abound. So much culture to see and hear , a must visit place for all to enjoy.
P. A.
Lovely place to walk around and relax and plenty of restaurants to chill and enjoy the day.
N. P.
Lots to see and do. Not far to walk into the city centre from here.
M. W.
Awesome place at night for food and cocktails in the day a great place to walk round have coffee or boat trip from the docks
T. G. (.
Beautiful view and relaxing walking
B. R.
Famous for the beatles and architecture you'll love strolling around Royal Albert Docks.
Steeped in history and relics from the past. Its definitely worth a visit.
From here you'll be able to jump on a sightseeing bus or walk around the various shops, restaurants and bars.
There's even a little business that offer kayak or canoe rental so you can take a leisurely paddle around the docks and see it from a different angle.
C. S.
Lovely walk around the docks very pleasant. Many places to eat drink and shop.
A. G.
Wonderful landmark for strolling in Liverpool. There are many restaurants, pub and coffee shops to rest and enjoy the view of the dock. If weather is nice you'll see paddle boarding and kayaking, too. Note there are public toilets also, in case you need the loo.
G. J.
Quiet on a Tues in November. Tate Liverpool excellent, but you still need to book tickets in advance. Good choices of places to eat. Chose Rosa's Thai Cafe and wasn't disappointed.
J.
Love this place, its a five star place if you are not on a budget. I gave it four stars as I am and it is a little more expensive than other places in Liverpool.
A. F.
My home City, so proud
M. K.
What a lovely vibrant area. Lots of places to eat and drink loads of parking really enjoyed myself
A. R.
Shops, bars, restaurants, museums, great day out!
M. B.
Me and .my husband live in the northeast and when we come to Liverpool we always visit the Albert Dock.you just can't come to Liverpool and not visit it
N. B.
Beautiful area to walk around with amazing views a cross the Mersey river and an amazing contrast between old and new architecture.
Great for the kids or just a romantic walk with a partner.
One issue is that there isn't the best food available at the pop up vans.
T. L.
Beautifully developed area of the city. Close to the Mersey ferry terminal. It offers a thorough experience of the city's historic stories, with regular bus tours covering everything from the iconic Beatles story to an equally interesting look at some architectural masterpieces. The Dock itself has hotels, museums and a great selection of restaurants and shopping outlets. It is only a short walk away from the bustling city centre and unmissable musical venues like The Cavern Club.
K. S.
Nice place ,great atmosphere and many interesting things and museum.Enjoy 😊
R. R.
You can spend a whole day here visiting museums (The Beatles, Tate, Maritime), shops and also have a snack or a coffee. Clean, quiet, away for the city noise.
A. W. #.
Beautiful stunning views with lots of things to do and lots of things to see. Whether its art galleries, museums, gift shops or for a few drinks to even dancing, it's a must see tourist destination. I wouldn't recommend walking in heels in this area however so make sure you have decent footwear, enjoy!
B. R.
Fantastic place to visit! I had never been to Liverpool but I'm so glad I went. The docks were beautiful on a sunny day, and we went to the maritime museum. A very worthwhile experience looking into some of the tragedies and triumphs of Liverpool's maritime history. There were plenty of shops and restaurants around the dock, plus a nice boat tour with commentary. Would highly recommend.
S. T.
Very nice walk around, lots of shops, restaurants and cafes, maintaining its history whilst being brought up to date is nice to see.
L. H.
Cool place to visit. Coffee shops galore. Interesting museums (free entry). Stunning dockside refurbished buildings. Ferris wheel and carousel. Ice cream and burgers are served from restored antique vans and buses etc. A great day out for the entire family or a romantic setting for you and your significant other. A must do place for the intrepid traveler...
M. J.
Wonderful place for a stroll around and eat or shop. Very handy for Liverpool centre and all it has to offer.
C. S.
Loved it here. Hassle and bustle, buskers, plenty of different places to eat and drink. Wish we had more time here.
S. R.
Nice dock with lot of small shops for you collectables and have cup of hot coffe.
A. Z.
Part of Liverpool's historic waterfront, the Royal Albert Dock features the largest collection of Grade I-listed buildings in the whole of the UK. Opened in 1846, the prosperous port became one of the world’s most important trading centres and was one of Europe’s biggest hubs for the transatlantic slave trade during the 18th century. Today, a museum exploring the city’s role in the slave trade can be found on the docks. A huge regeneration programme in the 1980s transformed the derelict warehouses into one of the country’s liveliest cultural hubs and it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
L. B.
If you take the time to stop and look at buildings and statues you can get a great history lesson just there, though DO go to the museums also. While modernising the area they have kept a wealth of history also and you can still get a sense of what life would have been like on the docks all those years ago. Best thing is unlike some tourist areas there is no one trying to sell you cheap trinkets or pull you in to their tourist spots so you can actually enjoy your time on the dock. Plenty of places to eat if you want a snack or a meal. The Maritime Museum is free and has a wealth of information. Take your time and make one great discoveries.
M. S.
Absolutely beautiful so lovely to walk around very clean good selection of unique shops and food choices for whatever your heart desires
G. S.
Busy considering the weather, lots of outdoor eating places, catering for covid safe areas too
S. H.
Lovely place to visit! All the shops on the dock are one of a kind! The restaurants on there are really nice places. The costa coffee shop is a really calm and relaxed environment and could of easily sat in there all day! Staff are really helpful and welcoming! Would highly recommend visiting here!
r. n.
Very interesting area with much more than expected to see snd do, lots of good value nice places to eat and drink😋
R. F.
Albert Dock is picking up. Quite busy for a cold lunchtime in March. Increasing choice of restaurants replacing the shops that were there and greatly improving the people traffic.
p. f.
Went for the Liverpool marathon. Really clean place. Got a good sense of community in Liverpool. Shame the toilets weren't open early in the morning. Parked at Queens Square and walked across the town centre. Nice walk lots to see and do.
N. T.
Enjoyed our visit to liverpool especially the Albert dock and pier head area ,lots of cafés and restaurants to choose from.

Great for either just walking around. Don't just go to the main dock area, continue towards the old warehouses. Lots of museums too.
Looks good at night too.
Plenty of eateries of varying prices.
H. S.
Must check out if you go Liverpool for a visit
l. n.
Great location with plenty of choices to eat out surrounded by lovely restored buildings. Handy for the Beatles museum and the slavery and maritime museums and a stones throw from all the city centre has to offer. Lots of character to the place, especially if you like a brick arch or two.
L. F.
Great historical dock. Modernised with plenty to see do eat and drink. Looks amazing. Also used for Captain America filming in previous years. Nice to see so many restaurants shops and museums. A very nice jewel in the crown of Liverpool's culture.
H. G.
A must go tourist spot in Liverpool. One can find lots of souvenir shops great views legendary statues and museums. Titanic museum is a must go. A great place for photography. A good place for family outings. The Beatles Museum is nearby and the Mathew street is like at walking distance.
K. A.
A wonderful place to walk on sunny days, to watch the sunset. full of people, a safe place. Is amazing how the colors of the raw match up with those of the buildings,a movie set.
Super clean, with facilities for people with special needs. has place to eat, has place to rest after a long walk. besides a super romantic look.
G. M.
Beautiful day spent in this great city - always a treat to spend time there . The exhibition of famed war photographer Don Cullen 's work at Tate Liverpool was a highlight too this time.
G. T.
Loved the whole River front, such a vibrant place and tottally unexpected.
J. R. (.
A great place to wander if the weather is on your side, good selection of bars and restaurants if you're after food and/or drinks. Keep an eye on the events section of their website as they have some brilliant things going on. And go sometime when the sun is setting because the whole place is a bit gorgeous.
A. G.
Love this place. Freezing in November but still worth it to see the Christmas lights. Great mixture if cafes bars restaurants and museums along the Docks. A fair amount of benches for when you just want to soak up the atmosphere. Felt very safe even as a lone female after dark. The views across the Mersey are lovely and I saw beautiful sunsets.
O. P.
Nice sunny day in Liverpool visiting the historical site. Good access for disable people as well with lots of shallow ramps about A great selection of bars, restaurants and street food offerings.
P. K.
Liverpool is a great place to visit. Rick Astley was playing at the Arena(surprise ticket from my husband). Its got everything, hotels, shops galore, restaurants, something for everyone. Masses of history. So impressed with this place. Will be going again. Cannot recommend this great place enough. Its a must do.
K. S.
Nice walk around the dock and it was clean and well kept, although the boats in the dock looked like they were either abandoned or had homeless people living on them.
p. b.
Great views, a few shops, food and drink options, plus the Tate & Maritime museums. You can walk along the river in either direction, and cross the street to Lpl One shopping center and bus depot.
D.
The Royal Albert Dock is one of the go to places when visiting Liverpool. From The Beatles Museum to The Tate Gallery, there are plenty of places to quench your interest. Love this place.
J. W.
A great place to loose an hour taking in the views. The liver building is only a short walk away along the river mersey. Surprised there wasn't more coffee shops and places to eat that made more of the views
D. K.
Absolutely lovely place. Lots of lovely places to eat and great little shops. The fish & chip shop serves lovely food and the staff are great. One minor blip about Albert Dock, it needs more cash machines, as a couple of the shops' card machines wasn't working. Other than that, it's a lovely day out. We'll be back again soon❤
J.
Amazing beautiful place
W. S.
Absolutely love it Royal Albert Dock, soo much history, free museums, great restaurants and bars.No one will get bored!! Everyone will find something interesting, small kids and adults, all nation's. It's a Must to see place!!! Highly recommend!!!

Well planned dock with lots of amenities including museums, cafe's, bars and restaurants.
Very picturesque for those who like taking photos, especially if the weather is good.
Just a short walk to all the shops.
G. C.
Parking near the actual Albert Dock shops etc limited and expensive.
Good selection of restaurants and coffee shops, plus Tate Modern and Mersey Maritime museum, and other attractions
D. B.
Very Pleasantly surprised with all the activities and restaurants here as I only expected a dock yard. There's the Beatles experience, museum, art gallery and loads more - it was a great few hours out and then took the ferry across the Mersey which was also a great experience. Highly recommended
A. L.
Great to wander around and view the sights! Weren't able to visit any of the museums or most of the shops as they were shut on Christmas eve😩 but still managed to nosey at the exterior of the buildings, the statues, the ships, the barges, the gulls - very cool to see them eating oysters! - and, the best suprise was the busker that was singing away with his guitar and sounded that good it thought it was a PA music feed rather than someone singing live! A must-see for anyone visiting Liverpool👌
R. T.
Had a walk around and met up with a friend for coffee since the new lockdown easing of restrictions. So nice to me out. There were a few people about but all walking or sitting and enjoying the sun, even though it was very windy
C. C. (.
Lovely place to walk round
N. G.
What an amazing place to visit. Came here with my family from Manchester. Lots to do here and we stayed the night at one if the hotels. The view over the docks at night was amazing. Can't wait to come back. We didn't get to visit one of the museum's so we definitely need to come back. We had a ride in the ferry across the Mersey and visited the Beatles Museum.
B. H.

Great place to visit, shame i came on a bad day, parked for 17 minutes cost me the full 1 hour cost of £3, other than the weather and poor parking charge it was a great time, i really like the views and will be back when weather is better and will come at night to see how it all looks lit up with the city skylines
M. O.

v. m.
Well worth a visit ! Plenty of things to see and do for the whole family . I would certainly recommend going 👌
J. S.
Enjoyed a walk along the water, but if you aren't steady on your feet you must be watching as the bricks are not even. However there is another walking area but closer to the water edge.
There are benches to sit on and lots of food and clothing shops. Got to see the start of a sailboat race. Lots to see downtown.
S. F.
They literally serve the best hamburger I've ever had. Also the hot board appetizer is amazing. But, the best part by far is the outstanding customer service!
J. S.
Lovely walk this morning, and discovered this superb bakery. 11 out of 10 for me, you queue outside for covid safety, all well worth the wait too 👍👍👍😋😋😋
A. S.
Lovely WWII dock with good to excellent eateries. Couple of sweet shops too. Maybe a little art gallery on the side. Or just a full blown ramraid of museums. 3 in total I think.
t. p.
Get a nice cup of take away coffee and just have a lovely long walk around! I go with my partner many times just to clear are heads... Can be busy at times and definitely wrap up!
D. M.
Perhaps it helped that I visited on two beautiful sunny days with clear blue skies, but it is without doubt a beautiful area, surrounded by history. Royal Albert docks itself is lined with a variety of establishments all of which offer fantastic views of the Dock due to its shape, Rosa's Thai Cafe being a highlight absolutely worth a visit if you're in the area, there is also a lovely bakery, and a shop mostly dedicated to Beetles memorabilia but also has some other interesting things, definitely worth a look at the back of the shop.
B. M.
Great atmosphere and lovely place to be, especially on an evening. just a short walk from the shopping centre. Level surfaces are suitable for wheelchair users. Plenty of places to wine and dine. A mixture of old and new architecture.
M. A.
Nice place to walk and enjoy the weather.
There is a lot of museums and beautiful things to see outside along the roads.
I liked the lockers at the waterfront and
R. P.
Interestimg place to visit, filled with museums, pubs and other places that you can either relax, serve a bit of culture or just enjoy some quality time with friends. If you are in Liverpool, I would recommend to have a visit here.

Weather was lovely, views were 10/10 and it was just an all round nice day! Plenty of seating, ice creams and things to see. We will defo be going back .

It was like normal day. The visitors should observe social distancing. Enjoy your visit, stay well and safe.
D. R.
First time I've been, great place to visit, lots going on, loved the maritime museum and it was free.
E. J.
So much to see, do, and eat around the dock. Well worth a stroll.
B. L.
A beautiful promenade to do along the Quays. You will find some nice independent restaurants and cafe, a couple of souvenir shops, and a art Tate museum.
It was for my partner and I am unplanned walk. I also recommend you a hotel in this area.
B. C.
Plenty of bar's and restaurants to choose from plus lots of museums to keep your interest, great shopping just over the road
D. J.
Great place to visit & also my home city.
C. B.
Really enjoyed the River of Light festival, there was a great atmosphere all round and while it was a bit crowded we could move freely and feel safe. Only crossing the bridges caused any concerns over social distancing rules. The lights themselves were beautiful and we'll spaced out. A fun walk and a great night that almost felt like a return to normality.
E. T.
Beautiful place with lots to see and do. Will definitely visit again.
A. I.
Spent a good few hours wandering and exploring the Albert Dock in Liverpool. There are plenty of cafes and bars to suit all tastes as well as some street vendors selling ice cream, chips and waffles from vans and converted steam engines - as you do! There are some great souvenir shops and the Tate gallery is based here also. It was pretty busy as it was the summer holidays but it didn’t seem overly crowded or hard to navigate. There was a great atmosphere of everyone just enjoying the outside and time outside. There were a couple of hosts in dry docks and you could hire out canoes and paddle around for a while, I have that a miss though as I didn’t fancy get soggy before getting a train back to London LOL
P. E.
You can't visit liverpool and not come here. Loads to do/eat/drink..Tate, liverpool museum, Beatles museum, What's cooking, Gusto, coffee shops wine bars. And it's history and beauty!!
M. D.
Must visit and must see this place when in Liverpool city enter. The docks have this magic feeling making you fall in love.
C. S.
This is a great place to be (especially as a visitor) with the Tate, Museums next door and a really electic range of bars, coffee places and eating venues right by the shops, parking lots and fab eating spots. 😀 loved it on Saturday!
A. S.
Nice, plenty to see, loads of eateries
K. m.
Absolutely loved the atmosphere here and the business of the city. The people here are so friendly and the different tours available and the scenery over the Merseyside is absolutely stunning and you can get to go on some of the ships and the big wheel and nearby cathedral give you amazing views over the city and out with. We had a really good clear sunny day and could see the Blackpool tower and Wales from where we were. Well recommended for a view.

Such a an well preserved area. Thus whole place is buzzing. Thousands of tourists.
The old dock warehouse buildings host a wide variety of shops to cater for every taste. Good resteraunts and cafes.
The tour buses pick up and drop off here so it's a good base to start your wanderings.

Had a fantastic 3 hours walking around Albert Docks . Shops museums bars etc with a fantastic view of the old Liverpool including the magnificent Liver building. Parking was great plenty of disabled parking too. Museums are free to go in showing the slave trade , titanic and much more. I tried my first Tapas which was lovely. Will definitely return.
P. S.
Lot's of nice shops and cafes, added bonus Beatles museum and a few minutes walk into Liverpool 1
K. Y. L.
Relaxing atmosphere, perfect view with good meals and drinks along the dock
L. M.
Really interesting place to look around. Well worth a visit
E. R.
Our favourite location, great atmosphere in the perfect location. Liverpool never disappoints for a city break
K. L.
Lots to explore around the area. Olf and new statues. Grand buildings. Pop idols. Bracing walk. Museums. Perfect for a long weekend browse.
D.
Plenty to see with free museums and local cafes, bars & restaurants. Enjoy a stroll along the pier & see various boats docked or sailing through the locks. Bring your camera as the views across the historical mersey river are great! Liver buildings in walking distance. Hop on the liverpool tour bus or enter the Beetles project nearby. Ice cream, fairground rides, boutique shops & restaurants line the Albert Docks. Do your homework around the parking situation as the Q car park is quite expensive! Bumpy but accessible for wheelchairs & prams.
O. H. Ç.
A very nice place to take a walk, to have a drink and eat. There are also 2 museums, The Beatles Story Exhibition and two hotels within the dock. This place is also where the Titanic was departed before its sink. A must see in Liverpool.
M. R.
Great day out for all.
Plenty of shops choose from, whether it's gifts or fashion, art or sweets, you'll find something for you.
You are spolt for choice when it comes to restaurants.
N. B.
There's something about this place.
It's got a certain special feel.
Even if you were to just walk round and not visit even one of the multiple shops, museums or attractions, it would leave you with a sense of satisfaction.
There really is something for everyone here.
A. K.
Full of life, history, and people.
Very popular area of Liverpool houses the Tate gallery, a fantastic local museum, multiple gift shops and restaurants. Has become a bit of a tourist trap.
A. G.
Wonderfull to walk and view the scenery and great shops.
T. B.
Really enjoyed our stay here, so much right on the doorstep and looks beautiful lit up at night
R. S.
It was my first trip to Liverpool and I was instantly charmed by the dock area of the city. The planners have made sure to keep the look and feel of its bustling past while providing an exciting, thriving space for locals and tourists alike. From. Boats in dry dock, statues of the city's favourite sons and daughters, fantastic architecture both modern and old, there is so much to stop and see.
J. M.
Beautiful setting....excellent service in the Restaurant.....unfortunately....not so at the Reception desk.....when asking a question....the young lady....was unconcerned......and didn't seem to want to help.
K. G.
Awesome renovated waterfront. Repurposed the old dock warehouses to restaurants and museums. Can easily walk around the docks in 15-20 minutes. Museums may close early on the weekdays but make sure to make reservations for any of the restaurants as space goes quickly.
J. B.
Went for a business dinner around here. The place has good restaurants and bars with superb views. I liked it so much I returned early morning next day for a run 😀
P. S.
Great place to explore. Lots to see for free. If you want food don't go to the bus, unless you have plenty of money. Beatles museum, well worth a visit if you have plenty of time.
E. V.
Beautiful place but hugely crowded. Long water front. Do come and see the Beatles. Some food options were also present.
N. C. (.
UNESCO heritage site. Great place to walk around have a good coffee or done out visit the museum's or jus enjoy the views into the Irish sea and Wirral peninsula
S. L.
Stayed a few night with the wife, I love the people in Liverpool but would being a Liverpool fan😅. The hotel is clean the food is great and the staff are spot on. I would highly recommend this hotel, it is a bit away from the town center but you can uber in or hire an electric scooter.
Lovely place
A. “. P.
cool place , with shops and pubs and coffee places
S. K.
This was once a base for the television programme for Richard and Judy television programme good morning TV or something like that. There is a great vibe here for a coffee culture also there is a vast amount of history associated with the Docklands just up the road there is a Beatles museum which I recommend you take time out to see. For the time that we were there we didn’t quite get to see everything. So I should imagine we will be going back for another trip.
A. D.
The docks are absolutely stunning - there is a wonderful selection of restaurants and bars to and suit all tastes.
I would say however that my favourite activity in Liverpool is going to run or walk along the docks. The view of the river is very peaceful and the sounds are calming. Not far from town too!
Definitely worth a visit.
g. k.
Very good place to visit especially in the summer or when the weather is good there are plenty buildings and shops a few cafes and restaurants you can spend a couple hours walking around the famous Tate gallery is there and the Beatles story and the Beatles monument is there
P. P.
Whole area is massive, and takes a while walking around , outside and in. The museum is arranged as historical time zones on different floors. Brings to life history in and around Liverpool, depicting events via pictures , recordings, artworks etc.
There is also a cafe for drink and bite to eat. Parked in ncp, had probs with paying cash as no pay machine found. Then had to pay online within 24 hours
L. G.
This is a great visit when in Liverpool, plenty of car parking available, and cheaper than parking in Liverpool 1 car parks.
Plenty of places to eat, with a good variety of restaurant's.
As you can imagine, the site has cobbled walkways, so if you have buggy or wheelchair, can be uncomfortable/difficult to get around, but not so much to spoil your day.
Easy access to the city center, with extensive waterfront to stroll around.
M. F.
Great history...stunning architecture. Well worth spending a few hours if you get the opportunity of visiting while staying in the city
H. S.
Great place to check out. There's a bunch of cool places to eat and drink at. It's a bit windy on the water side so be ready!
G. D.
It has absolutely everything. We went to see the Prince of Wales carrier and made a day of it in the cafes museums shops and waterfront, excellent views and a great place to visit, we shall we go again.....soon👍
m. H.
This place is gorgous. Various shops and restaurants to visit. Boats in the dock and museums all around. The smells from restaurants and shops is amazing. Public toilets here that had disabled access.
The parking is a bit expensive, we paid around £9 for 4 hours and the disabled parking is not free you just get closer parking. Car parking is very close to Albert dock and you could park for free further out but you would have to walk back in.
Good food places that again you might have to pay higher for the quality food but other cheaper options too. The dock is under a roof so if it rains you will be sheltered but the sights and smells far out weights it if it does rain. The service in bars and restaurants is very good, polite and curtious and all areas are disabled friendly but some places do have small doorways so just keep that in mind.
Museums are around the Albert dock and when we went the lift in the maritime museum was out of order and had to use the stairs but they was working on it so again just keep that in mind if you visit the maritime museum. So the maritime museum DOES have lifts for the disabled and elderly and I will visit the other museums shortly to review them so will update them when I do.
Overall, this place is excellent and really worth a visit rain or shine. Loads of places to eat and see. Family days out a must.

The Royal Albert Dock is an amazing place to visit. Liverpool is a vibrant city and no where more than down by the docks. Free museums, plenty of places to eat. Lots of places to have a drink be that alcoholic or tea or coffee.
V. H.
Lovely wander around the docks on a nice evening. Tidy and clean, children enjoyed site seeing and the various statues around the place and talking about the love locks.
R. V.
Great place to have a walk, a bite to eat or shop around. It amazing for those miserable, rainy days when it is pouring down, as it has covered footpaths all along the shops, restaurants and you can still admire the docks, ships and everything. 100% recommend to visit whilst in this town. There is so much choice and history here to see. Absolutely stunning part of the town!!
o. k.
Lovely to see all old buildings redone and looking great. Plenty of cafes around the Dock and bars. Sadly small businesses that used to be there seem long gone.
M. C.
Royal Albert Dock very interesting lots of stuff to see it's a shame it's all been commercialized & very body just wants to rip you off the Beatles experience £20 each no thanks. And cheak before you go the Tate gallery & the British music experience were closed on Mondays. But dont be put off by me its still a beautiful city.
R. T.
Came to Liverpool for a concert and spent Saturday afternoon in the docks. A good place to visit, some interesting things to see and do depending on what you enjoy.
I enjoy history and there are plenty of signs around telling you about the role the docks played in imports, exports and during the World wars.
Nice to see they are embracing the docks and aking them a nice place to visit.
Well worth a wander about, especially as there are free museums.
M. k.
Nice docks to visit with beautiful architecture. You can eat delicious Indian cuisine and other specilities. Lovely place to shoot and nice Landscape seesight

A very interesting place, lots to look at whether you are interested in history or shopping. Lots of places to eat and drink at competitive prices. Very near to the famous ferry cross the Mersey crossings and the Liver Buildings. All within walking distance and easy access for wheelchairs.

A beautiful historical docks; a bright and broad place. It's a place wirh a feeling of freedom.
It's a place to take to sit down, take a rest, forget the problems and think about anything, maybe about life...
M. B.
Wow an amazing place for all the family for a day out. Lots to see and do and very clean compared to the Liverpool I remember of many many years ago. The only downside is it cost £14 to park for a just few hours! Jeeez!
A. O.
Albert Dock has so much to offer, from the Tate gallery to the harbour masters house and museum, many nice places to eat, two Beatles museums to see and the maritime museum. But I think the best thing is, beautiful walks along the Mersey. I spent a few days here, and plan to come back.
S. W.
Such a wonderful place! I love the range of shops and eateries. Always check to see if any of the restaurants or cafes have any GroupOn offers on as the food can be a little bit expensive.
J. L.

Shops, restaurants, beatles shop a museum and the beautiful Liverpool waterfront this place has everything you need.

J. F.
Beautiful views across the dock and lights during Christmas make it even better, however if you are looking for more than a nice view, you may be a bit disappointed
E. M.
Beautiful place dunno why i havent been early. Lots to look at see and do.
Good socially distancing seating areas.

Very picturesque, lovely views, excellent setting for Premier Hotel, did Mersey ferry, bus trip, narrow boat trip.
Great.....

It's one of the best examples of urban regeneration and a world heritage site. It's hard to believe that in the 80s, this place was viewed as a lost cause and it's now one of the most iconic attractions in Liverpool. Definitely a must see.
L. S.
Great time in Liverpool a fabulous City
A. A.
Historical place of interest. Reminds one of the old age buildings but now with modern and advanced facilities.
Lovely place to visit with families

Vibrant and busy area. Many cafes and museums and of course, the Beatles Story. Take one of many hop on, hop off buses or a tour of Liverpool to see where the Beatles spent their early years. A great way to spend a day.

Great place to come and visit for nice food and a few great independent shops selling lovely gifts.

Brother and I enjoyed Royal Albert Docks, everything from a brew at the Pumphouse to the Maritime museum. A 'must visit' in Liverpool!
L. 1.
Such a peaceful and historic place in the beautiful city of Liverpool.
The Royal Albert Dock has some splendid restaurants for you to enjoy including: Miller & Carter Albert Dock, The Smugglers Cove, PANAM restaurant and bar, Maray Albert Dock and much more! 😋
Some history of the Dock:
The Royal Albert Dock is a complex of dock buildings and warehouses in Liverpool, England. Designed by Jesse Hartley and Philip Hardwick, it was opened in 1846, and was the first structure in Britain to be built from cast iron, brick and stone, with no structural wood.
I would definitely rate this stunning place:
5 Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful buildings, lovely walk along the river. Great museums including the Tate Modern, Maritime and Slavery and Museum of Liverpool. You can catch the dazzle ship across the Mersey too. Lots of places to eat and drink and just a 5 minute walk from the Liverpool 1 shopping area.

It is an interesting place full of life, rich in atmospheric restaurants, souvenir shops and numerous museums. Something nice and interesting will be there for everyone. I always show tourists to this place and every time this place makes a great impression on them.

Wonderful place. The investment put into it was well worth it. Still holds the feeling of what it was but yet it has been transformed into a really fantastic place to just hang out and enjoy what's on offer. Some great museums, coffee shops and small independent retail outlets. Well worth a visit!!

Perfect way to spend the day. Beautiful views, nice and clean aswell as in a great condition. Kids loved the carocel and the adults loved the big well. As they did the pub 😅

It's small, old fashioned, cozy place. I'm very glad,I've stayed here. There are very calm and quiet in it.
The only thing, that makes me feel pity for this place it's lack of repairing. In our room the bathroom door didn't have a lock and the shower door was cracked.
But anyway,You will stay in my memory forever!!!
J. S.
Albert Docks is a heart of Liverpool city, plenty of people, mixture of restaurants where everyone can find something suitable. Good place to hang out with your mates or family.
