Reviews of Print Club London

Went to the beginners course with no experience at all. As soon as I walked in I became fascinated by the process and surrounding talent. BIG BIG thanks to Craig and Flic for guiding us and opening our imagination to all the possibilities. Can't wait to go again.

Workshop was excellent, instructors very knowledgeable and engaging. They answered all questions and helped throughout the process, making it very simple to print your own art. Definitely worth it and satisfying. Equipment good and space very nice. Subsequent access to workshop seems costly, I wonder why not offering daily entries? 🤔

Really enjoyed our introductory course to screenprinting. All the staff were really lovely.

Signed up for the Deluxe course and got so much more out of it than expected! Helpful and enthusiastic staff talked through the process on day one before teaching us how to pull our own prints on the second day, really happy with how it turned out and had a fun two days!

Wonderful selection of gorgeous prints. Went over and above to advise and help me track down a print I was desperate for. A professional, personable and first class service.

You can best judge a firm by how they deal with issues. In the case of Print Club London hats off to them. We ordered a print that was beautiful but unfortunately there was as slight scratch on the glass. When we told them they were very apologetic, arranged a return, agreed there was an issue and immediately replaced the glass. Clear communication throughout. Picture looks great now. Buy with confidence. Thank you Lizzi.

I bought Print Club London’s screen printing book on a whim in a bookstore here in California - whilst looking to get into screen printing at home. It’s amazing!
Initially - it was super useful to understand the process, what was worth buying and what wasn’t, and to get some inspiration. Since building up my home studio it’s become even more valuable - the step-by-step photos of things and advice has prevented a tonne of mishaps and wasted materials. It’s made me comfortable to make my own screens - rather than starting our with preburned ones. The artist profiles are also super cool to see what a flexible technique screen printing is!
I highly recommend it whether you’re new line me or more experienced. It will likely be your most used studio reference if you’re anything like me!
I just wish I knew about this place when I lived in London!

The print club offers a fantastic opportunity to open up your mind and having those creative juices flowing. If you are interested in screen printing but have never done it before, their workshops are an absolute treat and a fun way to spend a few hours getting to know the process.

I've bought lots of affordable limited edition prints from Print Club over the years. They have been perfect for decorating our house and I love having original works by street artists and graphic designers up on my walls. I also find that the prints make great wedding and special birthday gifts - an usual and original gift.
Customer service is great and postage always prompt. I would highly recommend them.

I've bought several prints from Print Club London, most recently a beautiful Lucille Clerc. I love the huge selection, range of prices, how easy it is to use the website and delivery has always been speedy. I plan on buying more! :)

Really loved the screen printing workshop, the space and the people there. I would have gladly put a 5 stars review but unfortunately some people in our group (myself included) didn't really have a great experience towards the end of the day.
Tons of insights, great advices. Really nice and knowledgable team!
I came with a group, we were 3 people. Wanting to be nice and as some people seemed more in a hurry than others, we let other take their turns printing their T-Shirts. We had two stations to do that. The one on the right was managed by Sophie and seemed clearly made for T-Shirts.
The one on the left was shorter and you couldn't set it as well as the other one. It was used to print tote bags at the beginning.
One of our group printed his T-Shirts with Sophie, plenty of explanations, plenty of time and no rush or pressure.
For myself and the other person of the group, less care was given to how the set up was done and clearly we felt that we had to hurry.
Could come from a bit of miscommunication, our skills at printing are not great (that's the point of learning of course). But the results we got while printing weren't as good. We were told to put quite a lot of Ink and that we could put it back in the bucket afterward but here it felt like our instructor was less generous and wanted to get over with the day (which I understand). So having to flood multiple time and try to spread the Ink all the time ended up in mixed results welcomed with an "Amazing" that felt a bit false. I mean sure we are not professionals but I wanted to print some nice T-Shirts anyway for my branding and giveaways.
My question is if they were that amazing, would our instructor have felt confortable selling the results we had? Would they have rushed their work the way they rushed ours. We were never offered to have a second go to improve the result on the T-Shirts we had. Our friend actually had the choice and could greatly improve the quality of one of his prints.
Being the last, I was not really offered any help with folding the T-Shirts to put it in the "heating and drying machine" (can't really remember the actual name, sorry). At one point I was clearly struggling with white Ink on my hands, but didn't feel comfortable asking for help. When I came back to put another T-Shirt on the plank, I was first trying to get the white ink off my hands before touching my black T-Shirt, didn't want to smudge it. And I was asked to set up T-Shirt on the plank, not waiting, not even looking at what I was actually doing.
After that I wanted to go through the process of cleaning the ink away and removing the emulsion. But I was told to leave it and that someone from the team would clean the emulsion to save time. Which I understand, but I was here to learn all steps of the process. Also, thanks for wanting to save some of my time, but I wasn't in any hurry (which brings me to the last point).
My issue with all this is, we shouldn't have played nice and let other people go first. The end felt clearly rushed for us, by some members of the team (Sophie was really great and seemed to want us to have the best results possible). While we were still printing our T-Shirts with maybe another 1 or 2 persons, some explanations were given about events, pricing for the membership etc... that we didn't get to hear and weren't repeated afterwards. Which felt like a bummer. I understand that there is a schedule, that you want to go back to your own work or your own day. The issue here is that it wasn't no fault of ours if we were running late (which we weren't, we were told the workshop was until 4:30pm and we were all out at 4:15pm).
I was 1000% excited before the workshop, expecting it for weeks and wanted to get the most out of it, which is why I was kinda really hurt to feel rushed like this at the end. I really want to get into screen printing, printing my designs to share them with our small community, organising giveaways etc so it's not going to stop me and I would come back. But I feel some people might be disappointed if that happens to them.

Absolutely amazing beginners workshop. A fantastic teacher who makes it engaging and fun. Walked away with an awesome print and new appreciation for screen printing

I've got some great prints from the exhibitions they have at the studios. My favourite print was a present and has made it out to Hong Kong with me. Living overseas has really made me appreciate Print Club as it is hard to find good, affordable art.
S. O.
Great facilities and crews are very knowledgeable and helpful.
K. T.
Great facilities. Helpful friendly staff. I can recommend the screen print class for a tester to see if you like the medium for printing your artworks.
D. S.
You've got to get membership to use this, but essentially solves the perennial problem of not having a place to print your work once you've graduated from art school. Everyone's amazingly friendly and helpful and I've learnt loads whilst there!

(Translated) It's not a gallery with a fixed schedule, it depends a lot on the sporadic exhibitions that take place there. You must consult the website first.

No és una galeria amb un horari fix, depén molt de les exposicions esporàdiques que s’hi fan. Cal consultar la web abans.
