Amazing experience in the shard viewing gallery! Staff are friendly professional and fun, and make this magical experience better! 2 floors of amazing views, champagne, drinks and cocktails as well as small plates and snacks. Obviously very pricey for any refreshments, but the experience is worth every penny!

This is an absolute amazing attraction to visit when travelling to London. It can get very busy as it is a popular attraction but I have to say it’s definitely worth visiting. The price is not that bad. Once you are at the top you will have amazing views of London as well as a small coffee bar to have some drinks.

If you want to have an amazing view of London skyline, then look no further, shard is the best place for it, better than London eye.
Managed to get sunset and night view of the city, words can't describe the feeling.
Plenty of food, drinks and seating area if you want to sit and enjoy the view.
Would highly recommend to do this if you are in London.

We went for afternoon tea and had an amazing experience. Really tasty and innovative food, not just as ordinary afternoon tea. The view is stunning and they also have a great deals for bottomless wine and champagne. Well worth if you want to spend a lovely afternoon.

The views around London and surrounding areas are just spectacular. We was fortunate to visit on a clear and sunny day. But all the same it’s still worth a visit. Even though it was a weekday it was still quite busy.

Best views over London! It is an amazing experience with 360 views. The attraction is little pricey but worth it. Floor to ceiling glass windows and open area on 72nd floor to get air and hear sounds from the street. Refreshments at the bar are expensive. Tallest tower in the capital to view almost 40 miles of London. My favourites are tower bridge, London eye, and Thames river. I went there at around 4pm and stayed for couple of hours. Great place for panoramic views. This place is very popular and will get crowded in the evenings. I would recommend this place!

Great views over London. Although it does seem expensive for what it is, its definitely worth doing if your visiting the area. Sadly we visited where visibility was reduced, but they do give additional tickets to go again for free. It's also expensive for any food / drink but I guess if your going to London you wouldn't expect anything different. All the staff were friendly and more than happy to help.

Well what can I say easy to find the entrance and quick to get through the airport style security. You go up in two lifts which are very fast to the point your ears pop like on a plane. When you get out of the lift you are greeted with what can only be described as the BEST VIEW in London. You can see from miles you can go up some more stairs to get to the top viewing area both floors have a bar which we didn't use and once in you can relax and chill out with no time limit. The toilets also have a view see the pictures but you do have a blond if you want your privacy which is nice. Can out you have the gift shop and an option to buy souvenir pictures taken on the way up. These were £25 not bad value for money considering the attraction and the book that it comes in. Great few ours well worth a visit.

Cool place and loved that artificial snowfall.
I was amazed with the hospitality and helpfulness of the Staff.
I enjoyed the spectacular views from the top and was amazed with the perfection in details like the toilets also has amazing views of the city.
The bar and cafe also had an amazing menu to serve. The seating area was really cool.

Beautiful views! Best time to go just before the sunset, as you get to see the city when it's still light outside, see the beautiful sunset and the lights at night. A bit pricey but worth a visit!
N. R.
Absolutely brilliant. Firstly make sure you do not turn up late or you can expect very long queues. Security is airport style removing bags, jackets and belts. There are 2 lifts to get to the top and they bother move at lightning speed.
There are 2 levels for viewing. Level 69 is indoor which music, bar and seating. This level is quite tight when busy. Then you can go up to 72 which is an open top view which much more space. We timed it so that we were there for the sunset and got to experience the views in daylight and then the at nightime with the lights. 👌👌👌 Deffo worth doing.
p. k.
Pretty much fun place to be. Wonderful views from the top. Night views are pretty cool. They have security check up before you go up and then you take 2 lifts to go to 68th floor. We had some good time there. Bar is available on the top floor. Go to London Bridge station and it's walking distance from there. Recommended.

Amazing experience, place absolutely stunning and the food was awesome. The Italian waitress help me through the menù, was really helpfully and kind, and during the service all the team help each other, is rare to see this kind of service in a busy place like that, of was really a good environment to be. I will be back for sure.

Fantastic afternoon tea, we had a fabulous view from our table. The staff were wonderful and so attentive. They really made a fuss of my daughter. She said the hot chocolate was the best she had ever tasted !

My mum booked the Peter Pan afternoon tea for my birthday which was fantastic! I loved the little details; from the menu designed like a treasure map to the treasure chest full of scones. All of the sandwiches and desserts were delicious, and there was a continual supply of specially blended teas provided by wonderful wait staff. And it goes without saying that the views were gorgeous!
M. T.
Great experience. The view from the Shard is amazing. Chose this place for my valentine's date. But you have to be prepared to spend some money too. Prices of drinks and cocktails equally high as the building is. Worth every penny though.
S. B.
Amazing views. We worked our way around the bar gallery (as it was warmer). Shame there isn’t a floor inside without the bar. Went up to to the top after but was blowing a gale. Lifts get you up and down incredibly fast with good security and plenty of helpful staff.
T. I.
Finally had the opportunity to visit this attraction and thoroughly enjoyed it. It took 2 separate elevators to reach the top. A beautiful 360 degree view of everything and it was stunning. Dessert items (pastries & cakes) and drinks (alcohol, soft drinks, tea, coffee) were served by a very friendly staff. The view from the loo is something you need to do; it's a tradition. Check it out. I think you would like it.

What an experience! Definitely go and check it out up here. Quick tip, try and get booked for here through virgin experiences. This was a great way to book in and we loved having the opportunity to experience such an incredible view and share it with eachother.

My family and I visited Shard Aqua Afternoon Tea, the Peter Pan experience, on Thursday, the 6th of Jan 2022. What a fabulous memories! Definitely recommend. An extra bonus was an experienced and professional waiter who served and spoke to us in Russian. Being able to speak only Russian, my parents were extremely pleased. He made it even more special. Many thanks Alexander!

The Shangri-la Hotel is one of the most prestigious in the country and it is easy to see why. Their staff are exceptionally attentive. Even though I was a supplier (DJ) for the evening, every person I dealt with was helpful and while watching them work and see to the needs of the guests, they ensured that everyone was well treated, fed and watered. We had a wonderful time providing entertainment here and our experience was made better by the wonderful Adrian and his exceptional staff.
Many thanks

Great skyscraper. It seems to be London's Eiffel Tower. The view from the platform is absolutely amazing. Your mascot, Foxy, is also absolutely happy in his new home ;-)

The view from the Shard was amazing. It was a lovely clear night and you could see right across London. We had VIP tickets so arrived at our timeslot and got through security quickly. We had also booked a table on level 69 which was ready when we arrived. We were served champagne and nibbles which really was a treat. As part of the table booking we also got a cocktail, the choice of these was limited and I wasn't keen on my choice but the other cocktail apparently was very nice. With photos and guide book included in our package we had a great time. The area wasn't as intimate as I'd expected. Our table was by the window and there were constantly people coming up to look out so it felt very busy. Level 72 which is the open air platform was nice, bit chilli in January but in warmer weather I think would be beautiful.
M.
Loved it! Excellent views all the way around; nice option of comfortable and open-air areas and staff very friendly. We were able to leave when we wanted to.
J. H.
Stratospheric venue, with food and service matching the height. The prix fixe 3 course lunch was delicious and good value. The Earth Manhattan was a delightful variation on the traditional and the Heavenly Punch is aptly named. For dessert the white chocolate parfait is not to be missed. Plus we had a bird's eye view of post Storm Eunice building maintenance.

Myself and my husband celebrated our 6 years anniversary at The shard. The whole experience was amazing starting with the service charge! Always around to help.
View was amazind and lots of spots to take good view pictures that will last a life time memory. Cost for foods were worth it! Definitely recommend and will attend again!

Tickets for my Sister and myself were purchased two years ago and then Covid-19 happened. Needing to use those tickets as the extension period was coming to an end, we made plans. Taking into account work commitments, we decided that a Friday evening would be best for us. Luckily the day chosen had good weather and it was not too cold.
Metropolitan Line to Finchley Road, then change across a platform to the Jubilee Line to London Bridge. Just sixteen minutes on the second train had us arriving at London Bridge. Heading out of the station, the way to The Shard was very clearly signposted and took only a few minutes.
Passing quickly through a checkpoint outside, we were directed up a flight of stairs and into the Ticket Sales and Reception Area. Staff here were very helpful and we were quickly on our way.
It became clear that the visitor procedures were clearly thought out with one-way routes and staff providing guidance and instructions on what to do. To get to the viewing areas located at, and above, the 68th floor, it is necessary to get two different lifts. The first takes you from ground level to the 33rd floor and after a short walk, the second takes you up to the 68th floor. Lifts were very smooth with little sensation of the speed we were travelling. A staff member drew our attention to a panel which showed our progress in each lift.
Arriving on the 68th floor, it was possible on leaving the lift to get our first view over South-East London. As this was not a main viewing floor it was necessary to walk up some stairs to the 69th floor.
Arriving there, those (like us) who had a particular type of ticket were treated to a glass of Moet & Chandon champagne :-). This floor allows you to walk around all four sides of the square building with views up to many miles in all directions. The River Thames, several bridges including Tower, London and Blackfriars, tourist landmarks such as The Tower of London, The London Eye, The Post Office Tower and more modern buildings including those in the City and over at Canary Wharf, all clearly visible on this sunny afternoon.
One thing that was quite funny, seen from above, was the number of main-line railway stations and trains. It was just like looking down on a large model railway. Lots of photographs taken and then it was time to climb some more stairs up to the 72nd floor, which is open to the elements. Today it was quite breezy in places but very refreshing. Again, more photographs. After several laps identifying places, it was time to begin our descent. Down to the 69th floor, a couple of laps and down again to the 68th floor to get the lift back down.
As before, the journey down took two lifts. Arriving at Ground Level you are directed out via The Shard Gift and Souvenir Shop. More spending here including a cloth bag for £ 1.00. Good quality and very good value.
Was this a worthwhile visit ?, certainly a resounding Yes. How much time could you spend here ?, several hours could be spent matching places to memories and identifying landmarks. In honesty, probably not a good place to take very small children. Access for mobility impaired is quite good and there is plenty of space for wheelchair users. Is it worth the money ?, Yes but to get maximum value to need to do more than just look out of the windows. Would we come back ?, Yes.

The shard has some fantastic views from the top, the inside area with the bar is a bit annoying since there is such limited space and many people walking around. The outside area is much nicer and the artificial snow was pretty cool. Overall recommended experience, though i would get tickets online since it is cheaper rather than in person since it was quite expensive to go up.
P. B. E.
This place has been on my list for awhile. Thanks to hubby who surprised me on my birthday for a lovely meal on the 35th floor What can I say.... AMAZING.
S. M.
First time visitor, and I have to say, it was incredible well organised. The 2 lifts that take you to within a few flights of stairs of the summit, are rapid and smooth. Enjoyed a nice cocktail in the bar. Views, although deteriorated with inclement weather, we're awesome.
S.
Absolutely breathtaking views!! Cocktails were £16 each so be prepared, but with a view like that, it's worth it!!
Once you reach the top you can also go up another flight of stairs where there is another bar and you are actually outside in the open! Can get pretty chilly so make sure you bring a coat!
B. L.
Had a wonderful time! In time to see views in the day, sunset and night all on a clear day and night! Even the toilets have a view!! Cocktails were lovely! Staff friendly and assisting where ever possible! Defo will be going again!
T. B.
I went to the aqua restaurant for my birthday. Beautiful food, really tasty. We didn't have a window seat sadly, but were kindly moved to a private dining area for our dessert so we had a window view. Spectacular views of London.
Sunday lunch time menu was great value though go for for 3 courses at £42/ head. We went for 2 because we were not so hungry...2 courses was £40/ head! Just so you know. Afternoon tea looked amazing too. A great place to go for a treat
D. L.
A nice location to visit for the experience and with great views. But food and drinks are outrageously overpriced, and the commemorative photos are n9thing to brag about.
S.
Fantastic landmark of a building. Well worth booking up something on the uppermost floors just for the views, especially at night! Meals and drinks are excellent, if not a little pricey, but it's worth it.
B. J.
Great venue, security is taken seriously, staff do a thorough check on arrival so follow advice and get there with plenty of time and pre book! Food and views were as good as expected and the staff were all very friendly 👌
P. H. T.
Well we went from the ground floor to the 68th floor by lift and then walked the last two flights, what an amazing experience to be 70 floors above London.
Staff were brilliant and helpful
Views were fantastic but the day was overcast
J. A.
Went on a semi foggy day. Staff were lovely, view was brilliant, drinks were nice.
Totally recommend it!
I'm eyeing up an annual pass once the world's a bit more open!
P. P.
Had dinner and drinks in the Oblix restaurant. Outstanding service. Staff are friendly and accommodating. 3 course meal including wine just over £50. Well worth it for dinner, drinks and a view.
G. E.
Wonderful well worth the visit. This was a present visit from my son for my 70th. Beautiful rooms, beautiful food. Very pleasant people. Monday and Tuesday the top area is closed so you cannot go up to the top of The Shard. Views are magnificent.
J. F.
Amazing views, had a fantastic day on our wedding anniversary. Lifts are fast and staff is helpful. On 72nd floor we enjoyed the stunning views and drinks, although drinks are expensive. Overall it was a great experience, even the toilets have nice view 😁
J. D.
Great experience but so crowded when I assumed that there would/should be restricting numbers still (although the governmentsays not so I do understand). I did not feel safe personally.
My 10yo grandson loved it though, loving the speed of the lifts and fantastic views despite the wet weather, obviously unavoidable.
A great hour or so, the shop was not extortionately priced. Recommended overall.
I. W.
Yes it’s expensive but the views are tremendous. Plenty of space to move on the viewing decks. Security checks inc X-ray machines etc on entry. Well managed and a great experience. Book well ahead to get the time slot you want. (The website is a bit clunky and would benefit from some improvements )
S. O.
WOW what an experience 😊 We booked VIP tickets which included skip the line, guide books, a cocktail each and 4 photographs for just over £100 including cancellation fees. It was well worth the price in my opinion, the views were breathtaking from both floors of the viewing platforms. Even the view from the toilet was cool ( the highest toilet in Europe) 😳
The cocktails were lovely and the bar area is great although if you have to buy them they are pricy but I would expect this at a prominent tourist attraction.
It can be busy so don't expect to be guaranteed a seat although people are coming and going all the time so just be patient.
The photographs are proper Cheesy but great fun and we upgraded our package to get the photo book, fridge magnet and keyring 😊
The gift shop is reasonably priced and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
I will most certainly go back but probably for a night time view. This is a must for a tourist in London 🇬🇧❤
R. J.
It's not bad in the shard. The mist was on so couldn't see too far but in our way out they gave us complimentary tickets which was a great gesture.
B. T.
Amazing 360 degree panoramic view of London. There's a bar serving drinks and snacks, you could order cocktails. Highly recommend, I can't wait to visit again.
A. F.
Brilliant great views around London. A very good experience for those visiting London. Would recommend
s. m.
Very smooth process to visit the viewing floor, choice of cocktails and mocktails available from the bar and some really nice gelato available from a separate counter,. Limited seating available to relax and enjoy before heading back down. Amazing views across London, well worth a visit!
S. T.
Incredible views and the best part was sunset. Weather was good the day we visited. The inside of the shard is as beautiful and decorated.
Though it was too crowded(may be because of weekend or it was sunset time) which made it difficult to enjoy the views and drinks. It's definitely worth a visit atleast once.
May be they should try and limit the number of people entering at the same time.
M. J. H. (.
The Shard is a lovely experience to see all over London 360 degrees and we had a view on a sunny day and we were able to see a very long distance all the major buildings around it. Recommended for an good day out settled with a restaurant I'm the neighbourhood.
C.
Known as the tallest building in Western Europe, is now an iconic piece of architecture imposing in London landscape with its shape, it is above London Bridge Station, it has a hotel, many luxury restaurants and bars with awesome views of the city.
l.
Better views than the London Eye. On a clear day like we had its simply breathtaking
J. N.
Amazing place and enjoyable, cozy viewing from 72th floor:) It has been extraordinary moment to see London and all of monuments, the sunset's sight:))) This is unmissable programme for your trip and I just highly recommend to visit for everyone;)
A. C.
The Shard is a lovely experience to see. Tube station is next to the building easy to reach there. Cocktails were lovely! Staff friendly and assisting where ever possible
H. S.
We went on an experience day from virgin that included a cocktail. The lounge is comfy but basic with as you would expect the most wonderful views. We chose an evening and the sight is truly magical. I would suggest taking as little with you as possible as the entrance security is airport style, with little room to collect your items so you can get snagged in the queue. You are then directed in to the list by staff. The lift is amazing in the fact there's no leaving your stomach on the ground. Once in the lounge there are two bars so there's no waiting. I've heard that's no case of you don't go in the evening. But I would suggest going after dark, when London is looking it's twinkly finest. Be warned, the drinks are expensive £15 upwards for a cocktail, but very tasty. There's no limit to how long to can stay so you can move around the lounge sucking in the view.
Personally I didn't opt for the photo they take at the start as I thought the booklet was a little tacky and expensive but each to their own
E. A.
Amazing! Been 3 times and would go another 10. Staff are always polite, everytime new design on the walls. Best time to go at sunset 👌🏻
r. l.
The View from the Shard is a very special place for me. A unique and exquisite! From there you can see the whole London and beyond! Day time sunset night time, just beautiful 😍
F. K.
Food at the Oblix: very good quality and brilliant flavours.
Fantastic experience with the view, ambience, service. Definitely worth a visit.
D. P.
Beautiful veiw of london, nice and relaxing with a drink from the bar. Purchased just the photos after 3 for £15.
S. H.
Had a lovely time at the shard. It got cloudy from the morning then the blue sky come in the afternoon. 100% recommend and will come back again one day! Was lucky with great weather so got some lovely views of London.
D. I.
Undoubtedly, if you haven't been to the Shard: you have not been to London (it is as simply as that). A promise of the only edifice that will afford you a magnificent 360° view of the city and its immediate suburbs.
I will appreciate a numerous visit to this very enviable piece of engineering without any regret!!!
M. B.
What a view. Weather was perfect, could see for miles. Just one thing other customers should be aware of. On the prebooked tickets they say they cannot guarantee admittance except at the time and date of ticket. When you get there, there is no way you are going to get admitted on time so don't worry if you are a bit late, I did, it's stressful.
d. s.
I couldn't recommend this more. Great views and great service! This is an experience that is definitely worth doing if you visit London, especially if you are from somewhere that doesn't have comparatively tall buildings. It may seem expensive on the face of it but something like is is generally a once in a while experience. Or if you have a Tesco clubcard your points count triple towards the cost!
M. H.
It was great to see the view and they've made the whole going up the building a huge experience which makes it exciting. However, it's very pricy for what you get and I'd advise going before 5.30pm in the winter time as the cocktail bar closes at 6.30, the rooftop closes at 7. With cocktail making, takes ages so there's quite a queue at the bar! Be prepared to pay minimum £15 per drink as well. Maybe you need less alcohol at heights! 😂
M. W.
Friendly helpful and efficient staff, happy to take photos. Amazing views, make sure to check the weather forecast before booking. Would definitely recommend going at sunset or the evening! Only downside was the cocktails are around the £16 mark and we’re absolutely tiny.
F. R.
We booked for Saturday night and the views are incredible. We booked for 9pm so it was dark. Not busy at all. Plenty of chances to take photos. There was a lovely lady on the top deck who took our photo and was very very good in telling us the best views angles etc. If she sees this thank you so much, and we loved our night out in Soho after! Lovely place to go. Only downside was the glass means you get reflections in the images but not a lot you can do. Great experience!
E. V.
Omg. Loved the experience both during the day and at night. We took the London pass and went during the day in between our visits to other attractions. At an extra cost of £10 per person we were allowed back in at night. (You have to pre-book what time you want to visit but you can stay for as long as you want once you are up there). There are some very fine drinks you can get up there- they just happen to cost quite a bit. Overall great👌🏽
R. D.
If you get a good day its a great way to view London, with fantastic views from the top.
The bars are OK, but very much top end London prices, you other option is the Sky Bar on the north side of the Thames, views are not a good, but the bars and restaurant much better.
Best to buy your tickets on-line in advance to get the best rates and entry times.
A. V.
The Shard is a different kind of experience. Soon as you walk in it has a different sme, environment and feeling.
Visting the Presidential suite was something else. Wow what a view of the bridge.
Id highly recommend going to The Shard a d experience it at least once.
R. R.
This a must place to visit in London.was in oblix Bar with good choice of whiskies and other drinks. Views are great from windows
B. M.
Great service as always. Had the afternoon tea for my sister's birthday and the presentation was amazing. The live band was a bonus 😊 Thank you for making it a special day 💛
L. h.
Wow!! What an amazing experience!!We had a 2 night stay at The Shard to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The whole experience was absolutely fabulous. Staff were so welcoming and attentive. Our room was stylish, comfortable and luxurious and we had a wonderful view of London. We also had a meal in Ting which was also fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious and the waiter who served us was so friendly and knowledgeable. I would throughly recommend the Shangri La to anyone who wants that extra special touch or if you want to celebrate in style.
B. C.
Stayed in a de-luxe city view room 4202 on the 42nd floor. Stunning views across London and the river Thames including HMS Belfast and Tower bridge. Sat on the bed watching darkness fall and the city lights twinkling across the city. Room was wonderful and the facilities were superb. Mini bar was comprehensive but expensive. 4pm is a little late to be allowed into your room but 11 am checkout was nice. We went for an early morning swim at 0700 which you book in advance. Not massive but adequate for a few lengths & looking out from the infinity pool gave different views than our room. Gym, pool and sauna are located on floor 52. That's a long way up!!! Staff, service and attention to detail were all impressive. We ate at the Aquashard & found it pretentious but that's another story. Would we stay again? If I won the lottery then yes.
N. P.
Great view of London from the Viewing Platform, well worth a visit. We went midweek at 1.15pm and it wasn't busy. Great cocktail bar too 👌
P. H.
Great experience for when your in the city two bars at the top a small bottle of beer is £6 and a bottle of fix starts at £90. They take your photo at the bottom and for three pics/keyring/fridge magnet is £25 in a book about the Shard which in all honesty is a good price as I brought this. Go and enjoy the moment try and get there for around sunset and your get some amazing photos as the day turns into night.
P. H.
Had a lovely time at the shard. Only downside was that it was cloudy meaning that the views werent as good as they could have been. I will definitely be going back on a clear day because of this!
J. H.
No doubt it's an amazing view and the staff were lovely, extra helpful with my Mum who is currently in a wheel chair. All I would say is both boring floors are now bars, which means when it's busy it's hard to move about or see the view. We had fast pass tickets so were lucky to be up there before the rush
C. B.
We had a great experience once again at our cocktail masterclass! Thank you to the lady that thought us those cocktails, much fun!
C. K.
Spectacular views of the Great city of London! We were fortunate to go up on a clear night, so enjoyed a full 360 degree view of the city lights, including a number of famous landmarks. Our ticket included a cocktail which topped the visit off nicely.
T. J.
Fantastic place! The view is amazing, staff was as friendly as it can be and the food might have been one of the best I have ever had!
Really something I recommend to everyone!
D. S.
Just unhappy that I didn't manage to go upstairs.
It is said that the view from the top of the Shard (tallest building in London) is one of the most beautiful views you will ever notice. And I believe them.
Don't do the mistake and not make a reservation before you go there because you will end up taking pictures from the ground and just keep the imagination of the whole London view in your head.
R. S.
Had a great time here. Something different and a little unusual for London. The staff were amazing and always made you feel at ease whereever you were.some spectacular views of our capital. Drinks were priced ok. There is a service charge that I don't think is optional.
B. T.
Lovely views of London we went about an hour before sunset so we've got both the daylight and night views.
T. M.
Fabulous views of London and beyond~~~wow~~~ and the staff are so friendly and helpful too.
Make sure you have a warm Jacket/ Top to wear if you are going up at night time, it can get a wee bit chilly up there when night time comes.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff at The Shard for a fabulous visit.
M.
Always a great experience! Defenitly recommended around sunset time.
A. I.
better than the last time I went up there for sure. twice the height of sky garden so might be worth the fee. but try to find deals online if you’re going via the experience sites. a bit steep: £25 if you book online via shard website and £32 on the day. nice to go up there and see the city. they’ve added some photo ops so that’s made it better. views are beaut and on a clear day it’s even better. entrance is closest to london bridge station and down by the side of the building.
C. G.
The Shard is 309.6 metres high and is Western Europe's tallest building. Its exterior is covered by 11,000 glass panels. Floor count=95 (72 habitable)
T. L.
The views are stunning, literally the highest level you can go in Shard. Drinks are quite expensive though.
A. J.
I have to say I felt like everything was very rushed at the start. You have to go through security to start with and that is like being at the airport, so coats off, belt off etc. And literally 2 steps forward from there someone is wanting to take your digital photos. There is absolutely hardly any space whatsoever to put things down safely and get yourself dressed again, there was a lot of people all crammed into a small space. My husband is not to keen on lifts but the two lifts in the shard go up very quickly so you don't really notice it. As soon as you enter the viewing area you immediately get the view it was amazing. We also had a cocktail which was very delicious. All in all we had a great day.
S. S.
Where do I start. Lovely restaurant, great hospitality and I would like to particularly mention Alessia, she attended to my needs all through the night (she deserves promotion and a pay rise). The food was nice and the drinks were exceptional. Clean environment with clean restroom. Lovely view overlooking the financial capital of the world. Great experience. Will definitely be visiting again
K. B.
Just amazing. Lucky to have s clear warm day. Staff have the whole process down to a fine art and are welcoming and efficient. But it's all down to the views isn't it? Amazing and worth every penny I didn't spend as I got a Tesco voucher with my points. Interestingly, the Uber driver told me that he worked on the construction but then found it so stressful that he quit and he was happier working the hours he chose.
u. s.
Magnificent place to view London like no other places. We went on a clear sunny day and the view was amazing. You can go to the top floor which is 72nd floor. There is a bar which serves drinks on the top floor. I would suggest to view London on a day time and night time as well so you can see the colourful lights too. Tickets cost only £25 per person.
R. W.
Fantastic experience. Went there for friend's 70th birthday celebration and not disappointed. Vies amazing, staff very friendly and helpful.
Pan au chocolates to die for!
D. P.
The tallest building London or the UK. Nice view on top. Shangri-la hotel is located inside the Shard and many more restaurants.

just visited the Shard again and their new decor has really improved the look of the place! it’s much cleaner than before and it looks like they’re serving small bites at the bar as well if you are hungry. as usual the annual pass is the best choice if you visit the building more than once every year.
D. A.
A London must do, booking essential. Ample friendly and helpful staff guide you on your visit. Once at the viewing area's, on our visit was not overcrowded but comfortable. Weather permitting a wonderful panoramic view of London and surrounding countryside. Well stocked bars, most popular a glass of champagne to sip as you take in the view's. Don't forget to visit the facilities they will surprise you.

Stunning
Views incredible
Food amazing
Staff so helpful and polite
Would recommend to anyone, you are made to feel very welcome and very well looked after by all the staff
S. S.
Exceptionally beautiful building. Every time u look at the building is real treat for your eyes .
Tube station is next to the building easy to reach there . If u going to restaurants or hotel that have separate entrance and mostly advance booking is required.
D. B.
Having never been up the Shard we decided it was time to take the plunge and booked the tickets.. we added on the glass of champagne each and wot an absolute belter of an evening!!.. we whiled away a couple of hours with a cocktail or 2 looking over the city and I have to say it was the most amazing thing..
The view was something to behold!!
Amazing pics and amazing time.
Do yourselves a favour and get it booked!!!
C. W.
Unbelievable views, we went around sunset. Quite breathtaking.
Only let down by the extortionate prices for drinks.. Even for London. Just shy of £8 for a bottle of beer.
A. S.
For the price you get great views of the city. However, I personally felt it's expensive considering there's lots of roof top bars.
Good spot for a special occasion.
Service was great throughout from entry to bar service.
C. S.
Impressive views over London, need a bit of patience to get a table and a drink but perseverance paid off. Book in advance for discounted tickets, however we booked on the day and went straight up so no priority tickets needed so saved us a good amount, we were lucky I guess
H. P.
Went to The View at The Shard and it was stunning - we were lucky that it was a clear day! It did get really busy at points, and two drinks were £34! Definitely worth it but be prepared to spend.
w. p.
Once in a lifetime experience if you only get to do one thing in London put the shard at the top of your list.. amazing food, service was excellent made to feel like your a valued customer.💫 we paid a little extra for a window seat Worth every penny
Z. G.
Fab place to spend an hour! V.lucky in that we had a very cold crisp sunny late morning with views galore! Best toilets in town!
C. K.
Great day out great staff Simon and Amanda especially professional xxxxxxx
V. V.
Its worth it- we couldn’t get one for the night view since arrived bit late and bookings were gone. The view was fantastic and unbelievable. Will defo visit again for night view. The standard ticket starts just at £25 and that would do its job. You can upgrade or fast track your ticket to premium one. Don’t miss it.
F. M.
Booked a cocktail table along with the view to the shard tickets. The table was amazing right by the window with a beautiful view. We had champagne on arrival and then were able to choose 1 cocktail each from a specific section on the menu. The table was reserved for an hour but we were able to stay in the viewing gallery itself as long as we liked. The bar did get very busy and it is a bit of a wait but the drinks were lovely and the mixologists are willing to make you something not on the menu if you ask.
A. B.
The staff were so helpful and incredibly polite. It's a wonderful page to visit. The views all around are stunning. But £7 for a bottle of Corona is ridiculous!
M. P.
Fantastic viewing, dispite the slight rain. Oblix 2 hr lunch was amazing. Highly recommended as an extra special celebration treat
C. K.
Spectacular views of the Great city of London! We were fortunate to go up on a clear night, so enjoyed a full 360 degree view of the city lights, including a number of famous landmarks. Our ticket included a cocktail which topped the visit off nicely.
R. J.
It's not bad in the shard. The mist was on so couldn't see too far but in our way out they gave us complimentary tickets which was a great gesture.
S.
Amazing view of the city at night with dedicated elevator up to the dining area. Restroom and wall lighting is at Hutong restaurant. Amazing duck 2 course dish.
I. “. n. A.
A beautiful place to be even at this funny waether.
I will surely be back there during the summer . I can't wait.👍👍👍👍👍
t.
I don't know if the view was worthy of the food or if the food worthy of the view. Both spectacular, service too. Lobby security always appear too sad and grumpy, bless them.
M. B.
What a view. Weather was perfect, could see for miles. Just one thing other customers should be aware of. On the prebooked tickets they say they cannot guarantee admittance except at the time and date of ticket. When you get there, there is …
T. A.
Amazing experience. We went up 45 minutes before it started getting dark. This way we seen the view in daylight and watched the lights pop on all over London before dark.
S. G.
Amazing service. Staff went out if their way for you. Delicious food.Beautiful interior design.
J. B.
Afternoon Tea at Ting is a fantastic experience. Amazing views service and food. You need to book in advance as its very popular.
C. B.
We had a great experience once again at our cocktail masterclass! Thank you to the lady that thought us those cocktails, much fun!
G. P.
Always a great experience drinking and eating at a bar/restaurant at the Shard. Not something you can do every day as it isn't that cheap. But it has to be done from time to time.
G. M.
Terrific views, great place to spend a couple of hours and drinking Moet and cocktails.
H. &. F.
Our time slot was booked for 2pm and was checked in quickly and efficiently by the very helpful and friendly staff. By the time we had checked in and gone through the airport style security we were at the very top of the shard by 2:15pm.
Great views over London and also very helpful staff up on the skydeck. Also great views from the toilets as well!
All in all a great experience. We were up top of the Shard for around half an hour but you can stay longer.
I would say make sure you pre book your experience as there was people in our queue at 2pm trying to buy tickets on the day which they could but the next available timeslot wasn't until 3:15pm to allow them up the top of the Shard.
c. M.
The friendly efficient staff guide you from the moment you step inside, and the lifts speed you up to the top (your ears will pop!), where you step out to 360 degree views of London that take your breath away. It's a bit like stepping out of a plane into a different zone: you feel transported to another place. That first view of London from above brought tears to my eyes: the well-known landmarks seen from a different angle, the curves of the Thames you normally only see on maps, the trains snaking in and out of the City, buildings looking like scaled-down models, and miniature buses and people. You can spend hours there (seated on a comfy chair with a champagne cocktail in your hand) looking across the whole breadth of the city. Soft background music plays and there is a relaxed, soothing atmosphere that makes you want to stay up there and never go back to ground level! Very well organised by the staff: it is obviously a happy place to work as several of the staff we spoke to had been working there since the Shard was built. Not to be missed, even if you are terrified of lifts as I am!
M. L.
Obviously the views are perfect but the food in the Oblix was also amazing. Highly recommend the lobster and steak medallions. Friendly, helpful staff too.
R. B.
A magical experience. We went for an intimate evening and drinks over to the Aqua Shard. The view is beyond amazing. A must dine-in experience. Try to go just before sunset for the best photos and views!
L. P. E.
I paid £27 to have the best view of London. Enjoyable place to visit and if you are in good company to have a glass of champagne from the bar. Great experience and recommended for, at least, once for London dwellers and for any tourist on their London holidays.
E. L.
Great views that are unmatched.
The only thing was that the queues for drinks were very long. I couldn't help thinking there was a better system they could have in place. Maybe timed slots? Either way, had a nice evening here.
S. K.
Lovely Building but it spoils the Heritage building's around it
S. W.
Well what an experience, fantastic views and the service on the viewing platform was 5 star, the staff couldn't do enough for you. From stepping out of the lifts they were full of knowledge and just so helpful, from taking photographs of people with great views in the background to giving you tips and knowledge of the area and serving of your drinks. Brilliant every step of the way.
R. R.
Good waiter service, courteous, but cold food that should have been hot,was served in hot bowl? Very pricey, food and only small portion sizes. Drink overpriced also. Great views, and luxurious setting.
To conclude, "a once only trip"!
J. M.
Wow! It was a last minute booking including cocktails. Such a great view! Would recommend!
K. K.
Amazing views, rooms have panoramic views, very spacious and well equipped.
N. H.
Visited the Oblix Restaurant.......out of this world!!! An amazing experience. We paid an extra £5 per head for a window seat/table, and well worth it. Fantastic service and food!
C. S.
Lovely views of the city, small bar and gift shop, didn't see any information about the building such as when it was built etc
L. B.
wow its a feat of engineering work as my husband is an engineer who was fascinated the view are fabulous and a seating area plus bar a bit expensive for drinks but you have to have one sipping g&t watching the sunset 🌇
O. R. C.
The Shard is the tallest building at the heart of London. You view the whole city fro the topmost level, even the LondonBridge, etc. Very beautiful 😍 tourist centre. I love the site, will visit it again 😀
N. R.
In this part of the world, I love the blend of new and old buildings.
T. D.
Fantastic views another great birthday surprise
Loved the snow machine at the top
C. B.
What a view! Sunset at the shard is a must, doesn't take long to find a free table, order drinks direct to your table (QR code/online menu) and sit back and enjoy. Set your phone to lapse and record the sunset over the busy city below! Highly recommended *****
Z. S.
Staff are outstanding, incredible views. Fine on a grey day but better with clear skies. Try to arrive early to avoid queues and grab a decent seat. Banging music, as a treat a great afternoon out.
D. d. S. F.
Amazing panoramic view. Very politely stuff. Food presentation and taste beyond any expectations. I've got a little surprise from the chef ( it was my wedding anniversary). Very pleasant indeed.
A. C.
The shard is definitely worth a visit, great view from all different levels. Easy to get to right next to the subway.
S. G.
Amazing service. Staff went out if their way for you. Delicious food.Beautiful interior design.
F. O. L.
The shard when it's lit up at night, is like Christmas tree lights. All along the river bank stunning lights at night.
F. *.
Easy to find from London Bridge Station. Had to wait a little while in the fast track. The customer guide was shouting instructions at the two queues which we could not hear. Perhaps going along the lines and checking everyone was okay would create a better experience. Masks are optional. Once in moved smoothly through and through security, need to put coat and bag in tray. Then up in elevators.
C. A.
Superb. Great views of London in all directions up on floor 70. Down for drinks on floor 69. Cocktails nicely made (strong!). Range of different seating styles. Friendly waitresses and bar staff. Toilets on floor 68 - quite an experience with a floor to ceiling window to look out of! Take your time and enjoy!
O. C.
One of the greatest modern buildings in London. All colors in here.
K. F.
Can confirm this is definitely a must do in London! We went about an hour before sunset and stayed until the bar closed, it was absolutely beautiful and surreal to watch over London.
A. A.
This was my first time at The Shard, Ting and I can say that it was such a good experience! The waiters were extremely nice and attentive, Sabrina and Nathaniel were so nice and they made my birthday even more pleasant! Thank you for this amazing dinner :)
J. J.
We had a fantastic trip up the Shard which was bought for us as a Christmas present from our kids. We were very lucky with the weather and had clear views of London. At the top we had mocktails and sat for a long while enjoying the views. The upper level outdoor part was surprisingly not as cold as we thought it would be despite being early January.
S. É.
I cannot express myself. It's just perfect. If you can take a moment close out everything and everyone around you, just stop for a moment and appreciate the view. Go to the other side of the Thames during the evening and believe me it's gonna worth it.
K. K.
We bought tickets. We had to wait long tine for our cocktails. But, nice view and vive. Moreover, unexpectedly £3 icecream is delicious!
J. B.
Great place to go , it was very busy when we went ,we booked 17.15 slot ,which enabled us to see London both in day light and at night. The bar was very busy, so I would advise pre booking your drinks. Amazing place .
C. S.
The best hotel ever with the best view in the whole London city. Everything was up the standard and our room was very clean with the best view.the breakfast was a dream 💭
A. R.
Lovely experience, amazing views and lovely cocktails! Highly recommended especially at sunset 💞 x
G. P.
Nice lovely place. Feels like a night club. Nice cocktail bar, on the expensive side though. Quite worth it for the view of London.
J. M.
View was amazing.
Only complaint? Kids up in viewing bar area until closing time. I don't think this is appropriate. Children shouldn't be able to enter after 6pm as the place was so busy with adults.
C. T.
Great views, but not much else to do up there, no information cards, no binoculars, no cool gift shops, it's literally a deck and a drinks counter. I might be spoilt, but it's not exactly cheap. Just to manage your expectations
N. “. N. T.
We visited the View from the Shard, then dined in Ting restaurant. Not cheap but well worth it. Amazing service and views
J. T.
View of course was fantastic - worth the city upgrade if you can purely for the night time view.
Although I really enjoyed the stay, probably wouldn't stay again. Hotel was very busy and had lots of pedestrians in the lift asking questions about what the rooms were like etc
H. L.
Absolutely a brilliant, it’s amazing much you can see! Definitely the best way of viewing London.
o. A.
Great experience. Went to aqua restaurant. The view take your breath away of course you ll survive after that expensive:)))))
M. M.
Worth while buying ticket in advance to get a good discount on the walk in price as well as open date visit.
Whilst quite a few people queuing at opening time (2.00pm) when at the top there was plenty of space to move around. Level 69 is the lower level with plenty of seating and a bar. But best views are from the top level, which also has a bar and some seating. No time limit on staying there.
Weather was good today and so many of the London attractions were clearly visible, including Wembley stadium in the distance.
For photography, a few tips. You can get back reflections, particularly if people are walking behind you as the glass panels are titlted slightly inwards. If you wear dark clothing this helps, but also hold your camera quite high up and tilt downwards and you can avoid most of the back reflection. They could do with removing the metal hand rail the runs along the side of the glass panels, but raising your camera up avoids reflection from the hand rail.
Very enjoyable experience and staff very helpful.
J. S.
Visited the Shangri La Hotel for an afternoon meal. Superb food and the waiter service was exceptional. The views as you can expect were breathtaking while looking across the London skyline. Highly recommended.
F.
Lovely sunny day perfect for viewing from the top of London.
S. S.
Fantastic place!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 my most beloved place already, veery recommended.
When all the World is under your feet 🥰🥰🥰
Amazing views 🌎 💓💓💓
F. N.
I have the pleasure to work in a office inside the Shard, the front desk staff is friendly and ready to help. The building is amazing, futuristing outside and inside.
2. D.
We visited here on Saturday.
It opens at 1pm and we purchased VIP tickets so didn't have to queue for too long. Also you get in first and get to the front of the viewing glass so worth the extra money.
It is well organised and there are two bars on the 69 and 72 floor. There is seating and you order is completed by table service.
The staff were really friendly and helpful.
As you can see from the pictures yo can see for miles on a clear day. The drinks are reasonable for London as a long neck beer is £6.50 and soft drinks £3.
M. M.
Very busy no seats left people sat on floor with drinks which is very unsafe! Also very few wearing masks. Nice sunny day for views.
A. K.
Had a lovely birthday dinner experience at The Oblix restaurant alongside my brother. Called in to book the table as we wanted a window table with a specific view (if you have special requests for the booking it's best to call in. There will be a small charge for window table requests). The staff were lovely and very helpful through the reservation process...they explained the East and West Side difference and I managed to book a table with my preferred view. Arrived on the day and we were warmly received. We were a bit early for our reservation but we were welcomed to use the bar area until our table was ready. Food was spectacular! Service was awesome despite being busy! The views were to die for! Also got a lovely birthday wish from the chef! We were also lucky to have a live performance on the night which made the experience more special! I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
K. S.
The view from the top of the Shard is stunning. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the service is impeccable and well organised. The toilets have the most amazing view as well! I 100% recommend the Shard for a great afternoon in the best city in the world
K. P.
Lovely view from the top especially during sunset. Prices of drinks were expensive however and no hot drinks were available on either bar the day I went
A. R.
Didn't get the chance to visit from inside but it's a very majestic view from outside. Especially at night a veiw of the building from far is also beautiful.
M. A.
It gives amazing view and specially the top floor where you will have fresh air and have one open bar as well.
B. B. B.
I went to London on feb 12 2022 and London looks amazing I saw The Shard Tower Bridge Tower Of London and City Of London Big Ben London Eye Westminster Bridge Big Ben looks amazing aswell.
H.
The food was exquisite, it really was an amazing experience. The dining experience is like no other and the view was unimaginable even if it was hindered with a little rain. It may be expensive but this is to be expected, its still 100% worth it.
I. “. n. A.
A beautiful place to be even at this funny waether.
I will surely be back there during the summer . I can't wait.👍👍👍👍👍
R. A.
Staffs are really kind and helpful. I requested them to help with a surprise proposal and they even sprayed snow and recorded the video for me on 72th floor ( I forgot his name- white male). Even though we knew that it might not be clearer view due to fog, but still it was amazing. And the pictures added a sweet flavour after the tour completion.
M. 1.
72-story skyscraper about 300 m in height on the last two floors there is an observation deck with a bar and a drink, to be honest, nothing remarkable, view from the observation deck is impressive but this would be expected from a bird's eye view. Its purpose is incomprehensible to me to spend 500 million for the observation deck is excessive. The architecturally nothing astonishing a dubious wand sticking out in the middle of the city, the technical solutions applied in the building are prominent I guess.
O. N. (.
Really great food and the toilets really very good the best I've seen. You see the chef! Look at making the food
L. P.
Obviously stunning views, amazing location and a spectacular experience all round. If you can time your trip to be early evening then you can see all the London lights turning on which is a real treat.
M. U.
As good as it is, if you don’t have a day and time booked (non specific vouchers etc) do not plan a whole trip to London around it with hotels etc. you are not guaranteed/likely to get in.
M. V.
Very nice tower. Entrance to the restaurants could be a bit more fancy.
B. D.
Staff are always so lovely. The views are incredibly stunning. Unfortunately the bar is very pricey, there's need for that, hence one star deducted.
S. L.
The most amazing view you can get in London!
J. V. L.
The shard, tall beautiful and a nice bar and restaurant inside to enjoy your skyline view.
s. p.
I have no words for beauty of Shard. Best ever scene of london from shard. Value for money. sunset scene are best😍😍😍
D. D.
Fantastic hotel everyone should put it on their bucket list. The views are amazing.
S. S.
Wonderful experience would 100% recommend and will come back again one day! The experience flew and all the staff were really helpful! Was lucky with great weather so got some beautiful views of London
J. W.
Good for the views, if visiting when it's cold then it will be even colder at the top so wrap up warm, but don't wear too much as you'll be stripping for security, then immediately forced to take a photo.
A very disappointing, overly 'tourist' experience, especially when compared to the walkie talkie
M. T.
Great venue and to see London from above was really cool. Food good and wonderful staff. That said, the music was poor. Please, please, please, let's have something classical. How about Mozart, or Bach. They are cook music makers too.
M. M.
Absolutely highly recommend a visit & worth paying the extra for the VIP Fast Track ticket
M. C.
Managed to get stools by window. Amazing views. Great cocktails.
M. S.
Nice restaurant. Good spacings between tables. Great views and the staff provided a good level of customer service.
L. H.
Fantastic experience, well worth the money. More seating would be nice.
E. S.
Beautiful place the views were amazing. And the views from the toilets.
D. H.
Amazing views. Great experience and very nice cocktails

Amaaaaaaaaaaaazing!!! Went to Hutong at the shard for just drinks and the cocktails were amazing. The ambience , the view.... breathtakingly beautiful.
Simply cannot wait to go back for a full dinner experience...
K. W.
Very scared at first but staff there was very good calming me and could not do enough for me.managed the 68th & 69th floor.what a fantastic view from 68th
I. S.
The best view on London. It is a place for tourists mostly. I was expecting the food to be better for the prices it had. The Sommelier was a great guy and he helped us find a good wine.
t. c.
Outstanding visit, lovely bar and staff, the best seats in London
m.
Excellent experience especially at night well worth the money. staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and a credit. ..must do again
A. D.
Loved the whole experience!! Amazing views! Staff were brilliant, we were served by Filip an amazing Brazilian waiter! So charming and polite!!! 5 stars all the way!
l. c.
I am terrified of heights, I was shaking all the way round, the guy that greets everyone and talks to people was so lovely, views are out of. This world, I love London at night and glad I did this, can not recommend this enough,
T. A.
Amazing experience. We went up 45 minutes before it started getting dark. This way we seen the view in daylight and watched the lights pop on all over London before dark.
C. J.
Amazing views, the food was just great, very attentive waiters and waitresses, I will definitely be returning, lovely atmosphere.
T. J.
The height and 360 degree views where definitely worth seeing at sunset , wouldn't book with virgin as we did. As part of the package was included a cocktail which was a very limited selection on the menu and a photo was supposed to be included which we where told we couldn't have by the shard staff, they said it was the digital copy only which will be emailed , .. well we didn't receive it.
R.
Crazy view from way up...would recommend the London pass because paying straight up isn't worth the pride.
V. D.
Great views. Fast elevator.
D. A.
Visited on a Saturday around 530pm. Traded experience day vouchers for entry tickets. Fast and efficient. Walked straight up to counter so glad not paid extra for Fast Track. Offered 'special offer' two glasses of champagne for when at the top for £28 - declined. Airport style security (and just as unfriendly) then two lifts and a few stairs to get to the main viewing platform but was quite quick. Main interior viewing platform is 360 around the central stair block. Very crowded. Need to compete to get to the window. Obviously amazing views. Really impressive. Bar staff looked miserable and surly. Come on lads, a smile doesn't cost anything! A few more flights of stairs up to the open air skydeck (also 360). Quiter. Better. Not too cold despite January. Another bar. Still no smiles. Bit of a queue to get back down in the lifts (10 mins). Exit via the gift shop. All very clean. Was on the cusp of giving a 4 star but the price of tickets is so high I couldn't quite justify it.
S. R.
What a fabulous place. The views are amazing. We had drinks and canapés which were a bit pricey but lovely.
J. M.
Such a great experience in the sky. The highest built in UK offer amazing views, great environment, bars and live music.
I suggest visit The Shard near the sunset time in a sunny, if it is possible.
R. K.
Good quality food, had a dinner there with my partner for my birthday.
Cocktails are good quality also, can feel every flavour.
Very good customer service, great atmosphere! Definitely worth it
J. T.
The friendliest staff in all of London I’d say. Every single person greets you with a smile and directs you to where you’d want to go. Fantastic elevators. BEST view from any bathroom you’d ever see.

Great customer service, fully wheelchair accessible, clean toilets and an amazing experience.

I don't know if the view was worthy of the food or if the food worthy of the view. Both spectacular, service too. Lobby security always appear too sad and grumpy, bless them.

Get it top floor and drink “touch the sky”.Best place for the city views.
C. K.
Must visit when in London. Even better during the holidays with lighting.
G. M.
Fantastic views and really incredible. Quite chilly up the top as it's open above you. Quite remarkable engineering. Well worth going to!
J. J. T.
Brilliant view and experience. The best sunset view of London.
J. M.
Absolutely fantastic place 2 bars, very busy and very expensive but Absolutely worth it, blows the London eye out of the best places to go in London
A. L.
Good view but expensive to get in and for drinks while up there. Best to do on a clear day for the best views
J. R.
Great meal and cocktails in Gong and Ting friendly staff offering a lovely experience.
R. V.
Seeing london from the clouds hits differently 😍
Will visit again.
A must visit!!!!
R. N.
Great views of London, friendly helpful staff loved it.
F. P.
This is the place to be for a special occasion like a first date or a anniversary or a birthday.spectacular views of london 360 degrees ,but you have to choose the right day(check for the weather i mean) and the right time slot in summer around 1930 and in winter around 1600 to get to see london during the daylight, see the sunset ,and feast on the views under lights.Fantastic. Oh and don't forget to have some cocktails while enjoying the view. If you buy the all inclusive package, you don't need to wait in a que ,get a glass of complimentary champagne 4 complimentary pics.what more do you need.
J. B.
Well worth the money if it's sunny even has a bar at the top for a cheeky drink
T. D.
Absolutely amazing views over London. We went for the sunset and stayed hours after. London is beautiful too see in the evening. 100% recommended.
M. D.
Visible from just about anywhere in the city and as far away as Clapham, this spire is going to take some beating as a photo opportunity.
M. H.
Great Restaurant. Very courteous and friendly waiters, no long waiting times and an great view over London. A large selection of whine, cocktails and drinks, fresh bread and the chicken was delicious, so was the dessert.
R. M.
Had so much fun, the bar staff was amazing. We had lots of champagne and great views. It a hundred percent worth it to come here instead of the London eye!!
A. A.
First time there great views on a clear day but entry is well over priced and the drinks are very overpriced catering for the champagne crowd. Not a attraction that you'd go back too seen it once.....
J. N.
Lovely two night stay super breakfast great views
E. C.
For an overall experience for a date night or just too see London. I would highly recommend going. You get to some so much of London at one time it's great food and drinks at the top are on the Expensive side but what else would you expect
G. S.
Amazing experience 32nd Floor Drinks were great and sweet cakes delicious.Thank you to Martin.xxx
N. C.
Best time to visit is an hour before subset to maximise day and night viewing. Great views all around
M. L.
It was amazing, it was my Doughters birthday, thy made it so special, the food was out of this world,
r. o.
We absolutely enjoyed our experience here. We had the 3 course brunch and Luiz our waiter was the best. He made the experience exceptional especially with us having little kids
J. L.
The shard is a must do experience and well managed. There are 2 lifts to the 68th floor internal viewing floor with bar and you can then proceed to floor 72 which is an outside viewing floor.
The only negatives are:
1) The price is extortionate at £50 per person with 1 drink.
2) You cannot reserve a seat u less you book over 3 days in advance and all seat are reserved, so you can't chill out.
Worth doing if you are in the area and fancy a quick jolly, but not a day trip.
L. D.
The shard was amazing but the coffee machine was broken and there were no gluten free cakes available.
One staff member stepped up and got me a coffee from somewhere.
Definitely worth the price for the views
A. H.
Booked a bottomless Brunch on a Sunday for 3 people at the Oblix for £79 each, drinks included. Crept up to £363 with extras. Drinks were a steady flow during the 2hr limit (4 cocktails each) and the food was lovely, steak cooked to perfection. Service very good, not rushed out even though we did go over our time limit. Was in the Aqua 2 weeks earlier which was just as good.
J. C.
Amazing views and a bar area at the top with table service. The prices are reasonable as well. The top level is open and you can feel the breeze which is really cool
A. M.
Good views, long queue for drinks (lots of people ordering cocktails) good experience overall.
a. k.
Great experience. Fantastic view. Highly recommended
S. S.
Service was great, they have a halal afternoon tea. Unlimited food and tea. Mocktails are charged on top of the afternoon tea package. Been here a couple of times before. Doesn’t disappoint
D. T.
Exquisite view and well made cocktails. Much better than the view from the eye, and the prices are similar.
J. W.
Very good experience. Next time I will have a meal at the restaurant and then do the views, as it free to go to the viewing levels after.
R. B.
Great to visit but pick a good clear day to make it spectacular
C. B.
loved it..really lucky with weather..could see for miles.. do enjoy a drink in the bar..
D. M.
I went to Huton for dinner and the food was amazing!! Great view of London. The theme and service was perfect! To try when in London.
M. S.
As a wedding photographer we get to visit venues and locations all over the country but The Shard is something totally unique and the views of London are the best EVER.
G. R.
Originally booked for 06/20. Managed to eventually rebook for 10/10/21. The tickets weren’t sent to my email addresses but I had a booking ref number. I turned up slightly early which wasn’t a problem. My name was on their system so I got my tickets straight away. All the staff were helpful & polite. The complimentary cocktails were amazing, tried to order them using QR code but no luck so I had to queue for about 15 minutes, well worth it as you can watch them make it. Slightly busy when we arrived on the 2 observation floors but within an hour it was lovely. We spent over 2 hours there & it was so relaxing just watching the world go by. London Bridge underground station is right next to it.
G. s.
It was a great day no clouds in the sky so a perfect view. Was lovely but very cramped at times.
A. E.
A very worthwhile place to visit on all occasions; some years ago and more recently. Aside the spectacular views which are unique and unparalleled by other buildings in the nearby area, refreshments and quality service are experienced consistently. The staff in the Oblix restaurant really do go the extra mile and aside the VIP entry, made a complimentary personalised edition to the dessert menu in recognition of my parents anniversary. I would recommend a visit very much.
K. W.
It was okay, but it would be nice in more excellent weather 😅
O. D.
Great view and you can stay up there as long as you want. In the location there is also a bar, restaurant and ice-cream stand so you can have lunch or enjoy some drinks on top of London.
I found it interesting that even the toilet has a view 😁
Still, I would have expected for the building to be much taller, the only reason why I am not rating it with 5 stars.
K. S.
The Shard was amazing. 2 different elevators to get you to the 68th floor but when you got there the views were out of this world. The staff are so friendly, the merchandise was awesome for a day to remember. You can get drinks as well from there which are good. 100% recommend going to The Shard if you love taking photos or just want to see more of London up high.
L. D.
London’s majestic shard is worth an exterior and interior visit! Lovely architecture and it gives the London metropolitan skyline, a real splash of post-modern design.
B. D.
What a professionally, well organised and smooth visit and experience. Lovely friendly helpfull staff. Breathtaking views in a relaxed atmosphere and a glass of champagne to help wash the whole experience down. Delightful thank you.
T. k.
Well worth a visit, great views across the city and a nice modern bar for drinks at the top
l. a.
Very nice location
Worth visiting 😍
s. g.
Brilliant experience, we went at night and thoughts it was so much better. Staff were amazing apart from security who I had to argue with to use the toilet even though I had a medical condition. They were rude, ignorant and unprofessional,, shame it marred a truly amazing evening.
S. B.
Was in The Gong Bar in the Shangri-la Hotel for my 60th Birthday, was there just before dusk so we saw London come to life with lights, amazing views! Great experience!
A. J.
Me and my wife went for the Afternoon Tea for £62 per head great taste incredible View the staff was very friendly but bit late to bring back anything if you had asked lol i think because they were busy as well but anyone who love the afternoon tea with a view must visit Shards would definitely comeback for a date night again

Amazing building and some here are some amazing facts:
▪︎It’s actually the tallest building in Western Europe
The Shard, at 306 metres tall, briefly held the top spot for the whole of Europe before two buildings in Moscow overtook it within a year!
▪︎Six women climbed to the top of the building’s exterior in July 2013. The Shard was the setting for a Greenpeace protest in July 2013, aiming to draw attention to oil company Shell’s plans to drill for oil in the Arctic.
▪︎It hosts what might just be the ultimate penthouse. The enormous apartment is 224m high, covers two floors, has been compared in size to a seven-bedroom mansion and has a reported price tag of £50 million.
▪︎The viewing platform is actually three floors. The viewing area is on floors 68, 69 and 72. Floor 68 is home to Cloudscape, a feature about the different types of clouds over London. Floor 69 hosts interactive telescopes, while floor 72 is open to the elements.
▪︎The Shard was developed by Sellar Property Group in association with London Bridge Quarter Ltd and designed by the Italian architect, Renzo Piano

Wow, completely different perspective seeing London from up high. Lovely rooftop bar and viewing area. Highly recommend.
J. B.
Afternoon Tea at Ting is a fantastic experience. Amazing views service and food. You need to book in advance as its very popular.
T. G.
It's a breathtaking view especially on the 72nd floor which is in open air but perfectly secured and surrounded by 10ft glass panels. Found a deal for £50 for 2 not including champagne. Champagne was on offer £28 for 2. Their are individual toilets with external clear glass panelling allowing full view although you can obscure this by pressing a button and you are so high up no one can actually see you.
k. c.
Amazing afternoon at the Shangti-la celebrating our anniversary . First class service from Roxanne , Simone , Jordan Sebastian and Uosef . Highly recommend !!
K.
The building itself doesn’t look much from the outside although the views from the top are breathtaking. Took the hubby for a birthday treat, great experience to try at least once although drinks are pricey. Weather wasn’t brilliant when we went... but that’s good old British weather for you!! Where else could you go and experience such views whilst using the toilet facilities! Would like to go back in the future preferably at night to see the city in lights.
P. D.
Quick and easy to get up, apart from having to take belt off in airport style security! Drinks prices as expected for a captive audience but good service and the view is worth it. Plenty of photo opportunities. Warmer on floor 69 (as opposed to the semi open 72) at this time of year. We had a lovely (albeit brief) sunset. We used London Pass so it was included. The pictures they take are downloadable and you don't need to pay, just use the website on the card that give you. You can stay as long as you like up there, which is great.
D.
No doubt it's an amazing view and the staff were lovely, extra helpful with my Mum who is currently in a wheel chair. All I would say is both boring floors are now bars, which means when it's busy it's hard to move about or see the view. We had fast pass tickets so were lucky to be up there before the rush!
T. D.
Amazing setting, great atmosphere. My fish wasn't worth the £35 but my guest said her steak was amazing. You pay for the view so happy all in all.
A. D.
Amazing situation for a restaurant. Lovely food and excellent service.
D. W.
Unbelievable views, nice champagne but very limited seating.
B. V.
Been there with my family and some friends.we had a great time with good service .nice foods and best view.
K. S.
I went at night so my time was brief, but seeing London at night was worth it. Just know that if you have the London Pass like I did, you still have to make a reservation. That's the main downside. The cold October night air comes in, so if you are going at night maybe wear a coat or long sleeves if you get cold easily. Otherwise an amazing experience.

One of my favorite places in the city😍

The Shard, also referred to as the Shard of Glass, Shard London Bridge and formerly London Bridge Tower, is a 72-storey skyscraper, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, in Southwark, London, that forms part of the Shard Quarter development.
Standing 309.6 metres (1,016 ft) at its highest point, and 308.5 metres (1,012 ft) at the highest point of its steelwork, The Shard became the tallest building in the European Union in December 2011, and the tallest completed building in Europe on 30 March 2012. It is taller than Frankfurt's Commerzbank Tower at 259 m (850 ft) the record holder between 1997 and 2005 and three later skyscrapers of Moscow: the Triumph-Palace, Naberezhnaya Tower, and City of Capitals. These three had each held the title for roughly 2 1⁄2 years. The Shard was overtaken by a fourth such tower in November 2012: the 339-metre (1,112 ft) Mercury City Tower. The Shard was surpassed as the tallest European building outside Russia by the 310 metre (1,017 ft) Varso Tower, Warsaw, Poland in February 2021, and the 323-metre (1,060 ft) Hermitage Plaza building, which is planned to be completed in La Défense, Paris, in 2024.
The Shard is the second-tallest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom, after the 330-metre (1,083 ft) concrete transmission tower at Emley Moor. Another planned London skyscraper, the Pinnacle (now replaced by 22 Bishopsgate), was originally proposed to rival the height of The Shard, but was reduced to a height of 287.9 metres (945 ft) because of concerns from the Civil Aviation Authority. It is taller than all of the natural peaks in London and in adjoining counties, the highest of which is Walbury Hill, close to Wiltshire.
The Shard's construction began in March 2009; it was topped out on 30 March 2012 and inaugurated on 5 July 2012. Practical completion was achieved in November 2012.
The Shard comprises a 26-floor office complex, occupied by 32 companies across ten business sectors, three restaurants - Aqua Shard, Oblix, and Hutong, the five-star Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts (floor 34 to 52), ten residential apartments and the UK's highest viewing gallery, The View from The Shard, which is situated on floors 68, 69 and 72, at a height of 244 metres (801 ft). At almost twice the height of any other viewing platform in the capital, it offers visitors unparalleled 360-degree views for up to 40 miles.
The Shard has 11,000 glass panels, covering 56,000 square metres (602,779 sq ft). This is equal to the size of eight football pitches! It takes 17 (brave) window cleaners 3 months to clean the whole building.
The Shard has become a favourite destination for lovebirds across London, for both weddings and proposals. Over 200 wedding proposals have been made at the top of the Shard!
More than 5,000 people live and work in The Shard, from hotel guests to the people who keep the building running, operating the loading bays, lifts and restaurants.

One of the must visit places in London for a great view of the great city at the observatory deck at the top few floors of the iconic building. This place offers a birds eye view of the city and is big, wide and comfortable enough for everyone to enjoy their time.
There’s a bar counter at the top of the building, so one can enjoy a pint of beer or a glass of champagne or even a bottle, enjoying the view, away from the troubles downstairs!
Relatively crowd free and queue free when we were there. This place is also part of the London Pass which offers visitors a great deal when it comes to money saved and time saved (special access at some attractions)!
Recommended to all!

Went the shard today with friends and colleagues had a fantastic time members of staff were very professional and friendly food was lovely and champagne 🍾couldn't get enough of especially our waiter ELVIS fantastic person he really made our day even more memorable and very spectacular and special 😀thanks 👍
T.
Bit over priced for what you get.. And paid extra for fast track but didn't need to....good views at top and nice drinks..
D. R.
Visited the Shard during a weekday afternoon. Pleasant trip on the train. A few minutes walk from London Bridge station.
Different entrances depending on your reason for visiting. The View (top level access to viewing platform has its own entrance. Three separate lifts are required. All round the corner and we'll signposted. There's a drinks bar as well as a snack bar. The top most viewing platform is open air so can get a little windy and cold (depending on when you visit). Also it's on the 76th floor.
We also visited one of the three restaurants (on the 30th and 31st floors). We went for the Asian infused Hutong restaurant. Very nice former menu. We went for the signature lunch, a couple of glasses of wine and a bottle of water, came to £170. The meal was excellent, wonderful combination of flavours. Each sitting was two hours, perfect amount of time.
As a side note: visit the toilets here - you'll be looking down on London as you 'perform the deed' 😉. We asked the sommelier (wine steward) for advice on a nice wine to compliment our choice of meal. Her advice was spot on, based on what my wife and I each looked for in a wine.
This is not our first time visiting the Shard. The View can be skipped, of you've done it already. But do treat yourself to a meal, or at least visit the bar.
A tip, if you want to upload media, you'll probably find patchy mobile internet, swap to the Shard's WiFi. The restaurant also had paperless menu, selection is via online menu, with wait staff taking your order.
Please check, regarding the restaurant, if you need step free access, as I am only aware of a flight of steps (from floor 32) to access each restaurant. The View is fully accessible and step free.
If you're going to visit Hutong, and you want a table by the window, you will most likely receive it if your are in a party of 1 or 2 persons. If you are travelling in a larger group, I would definitely reserve and specifically request a table by a window.

Gives you a great view of how London is a mix of both the old and the new. Never felt uncomfortable with the staff who were all very friendly even if they are part of the 5-star hotel also located in the building. If you want to experience an overall view of both old and new London and you got a couple of hours to take in this sight, do so, I enjoyed it.

Nice view from all the Restaurants
Good for a drinks with friends

Absolutely stunning building, well worth a closer look

Lovely Peter Pan afternoon tea in Aquashard. Great food and wonderful views.

It's very the waiters are very good, excellent quality

Great view, lovely place. Drinks very high cost. Good to go to the top floor. In the open air.
P. M.
My Husband and l have been up the Shard 3 times, all good with lovely views.

The Peter Pan afternoon tea is a must! It was amazing, great food and stunning views 😍🥂🧚🏻♀️

we had a great evening in The Sard. Ana was very sweet and polite. Really gentil and a hard worker waitress. We was impressed with her professionalism and kindness. A big thanks to Ana. We really enjoyed it ❤

The visit to the Shard was excellent, although the weather was not very good, but it was possible to see everything from the 72nd floor. Pretty cold up there, so don't forget your coat.
In addition to the hotel, there are restaurants, tea houses, shops etc. It has two bars on the top floors and the prices are good.
c. m.
Great views of the city with a lovely cocktail bar BUT be warned drinks are very very expensive .I paid £35 for two cocktails.
O. O.
Great observation deck 👌 . Good for photos 📷 but it has protective glass so under some circumstances there will be extra reflection in the glass. It’s a bit chilly up there since the deck is open above to create an impression your outside while there 💨. You can also have a drink up there 🍸, sit down and chill overlooking the beauty of the city 🌃. Highly recommend to visit at least once 😉.
R. S.
Awesome building with stunning views of London in daytime and even better in late evening when everything is lit up. Staff are very friendly and the service is brilliant too. Bit pricey with drinks, but when you go somewhere like The Shard I guess it’s expected. Worth a visit for sure!!
L. S.
Absolutely FABULOUS .... fantastic staff .... fabulous atmosphere and views to die for!!!! Sheer perfection!!!!
A. J.
Fab views from 32nd floor but make sure you book. They wouldn't let us in (family of 4) for a drink at 5.15pm without a booking even though the bar was empty. Book either the oblix or aqua bar for free access up to the 33nd floor.
M. U.
Had a birthday gather enjoyable always with friends and family.
K. C.
Amazing experience for my anniversary. It was a great atmosphere and made even better with Esmail and Nathaniel. They provided great customer service and made us feel very welcomed. The cocktails made by Jack were also delightful. The food was delicious and they even gave us complimentary fruits and chocolates for our anniversary!
c. t.
Wow- what a view! Great in the evening
A. R.
A great experience indeed. Excellent and state-of-the-art amenities, above all, very friendly, helpful staff, instantly available to provide you with a personalised service, be it preparing your special order menu(Lithin and Neethu, Customer Service) or giving you a tour of the organic farm (Satish, Caretaker farm). A very professional team of people who will ensure that you will enjoy every moment of your stay.
C. M.
Very well organised. Very clean too. Amazing views
E.
A must-attend venue for any Londoner or anyone visiting London, visiting the highest point of The Shard is a view to behold, whether day or night. There are numerous restaurants and bars inside The Shard so by all means make sure to travel through the floors!
C. G.
A must. The staff were brilliant couldn't ask for a better day. The drinks were incredible the views 😍
A. A.
We have been there today and we loved it. Such a nice experience and staff very friendly.
N. D.
Amazing place to go for a special occasion went there for my Sister's bday. The menu was a bit pricey but our lovely Dad treated us ! Trust me the place is beautiful definitly one of my highlights in my life to have gone there .Beautiful family memory created forever ❤
m. m.
Perfectly placed restaurant and food and service were fantastic
S. S.
Love the experience - the tallest building in the UK.
Try the toilet! You will have one of the best views ever experienced of London.
G.
Beautiful building, amazing architecture is a real showcase of London, I had the opportunity to be at the top of the observation deck drinking a delicious drink made by a very cultural and cheerful bartender, the panorama is breathtaking, I also wanted to rent a room for a family for the weekend but unfortunately the price overwhelmed me for 2 nights, I collect money so I can write something more about the interior. For city visitors I highly recommend buying a terrace entrance you won't regret it.
C. W.
I don't think I can fault The Shard. Amazing ambience, excellent quality food / drink, first class service. It's not cheap, but I wouldn't expect it to be.
L. o. C.
Afternoon tea at The Shard. Amazing food while looking at the wonderful views of London. Such an experience! The staff were polite and friendly.
T. H.
We enjoyed our trip to the shard. I would give 5 stars but I had booked a table and we had to ask the staff to get us seated instead of them asking ourselves the question. This also meant that we stood nearby to the two people who were asked politely to vacate the seats which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. We got 4 cocktails but one, 'The churchill' literally tasted like you were smoking a 20 pack all at once. (Slight exaggeration) We also found that the picture package was misleading as it states on my tickets that it should include 4 photos via email. We were advertised a product for £25 with no mention of the photos we should have received for free. So overall a good experience but I think the staff could be more helpful with establishing what ticket you have and your package, also actually having a table ready for your set time. We all know it's not exactly cheap for a reservation. We will revisit though for sure. The views were fantastic and look forward to seeing it all again in the daylight next time.
N. M.
Fantastic food in Oblix restaurant and amazing views of London
a. b.
The experience was ok. The 69th floor which is an indoor room with seating was very crowded and it was hard to get a seat near the windows. The 72nd floor which is a semi-open viewing area was much more pleasant although a bit cold in the evenings. The views were decent and in my opinion it's worth visiting once.
J. A.
Amazing place! Like seven heavens! Huron restaurant ☑️
L. H.
An amazing view , experience to do while in London . At night was just amazing
S. D.
Amazing experience. Definitely recommend going as late as possible to see the sunset over the London skyline!
L. R.
A must see if you are in town! Tickets for a adult is ($32) buying locally, on the internet is cheaper.
It's another perspective from London and give you a great and amazing view of the town. Very easy to get there from train, bus or any other public transport.
You can have drinks ($7), coffee (3.2), pastries ($3.5), snacks over there and enjoy the best view of town.
Strongly recommend a visit.
C. S.
Very nervous of heights, but you gotta do it!!!! Lovely lady member of staff on the lift floor was amazing and knowledgeable about landmarks. Went for my grandsons birthday and everyone wished him a happy day.
R. B.
Amazing views of London. The bar is very busy but the bar staff work incredibly hard to serve everyone without much wait. A great place to bring the kids to. The place is spotless considering how busy it is. A few tables to sit at. But you will send your time looking out of the windows. Beer still warm but that's an English thing. You have to wait for the sunset. Stunning
S. Y.
A very good experience with a fabulous view and delicious food.
P. Y.
Fantastic place. The views are unbelievable. Staff, incredibly friendly and helpful. Customer service is of the highest standard. We went for cocktails, and they are fantastic with some, just pure theatre. All in all, a wonderful experience. Check out The Shard. You won't be disappointed.
t. c.
Amazing experience, great night view of London
I. S.
Simply outstanding nothing more to say
S. G.
Visited The Shard for work last week and it was awesome working inside the building in one of the coshare offices.
G. P.
Fantastic views from the viewing platform, but aside from that, it's more of a tick box destination than a final destination. It's worth one visit, I guess, but I'm not sure why anyone would go back a second time.
M. H.
The view from the Shard was bought as a gift for us. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the views were excellent. The outside viewing area on the 72nd floor was great.
We can't get over the speed of the lifts, floors 0-33 in about 10 seconds!
D. D.
What a stunning landmark! A must see London attraction if you're close by. You are up and down in second with the super fast lift. However, you can stay up in the viewing platform until it closes if you wish! The viewing platform includes a bar for the adults, a play area for kids (which includes a giant connect 4 set) and a candy floss machine for all. There are also plenty of souvenirs to collect on the way if you wish.
D. K.
The confirmation email I had said it opened at 10am, arrived at 11am only to find out it was open at 1pm! Ended up taking a boat to canary wharf for a few hours.
Great views from the top but cant really spend long up there unless you're drinking at the bar.
Whilst you're there make sure to use the toilets before coming back down!
D. W.
Great view, of course. Cool way to understand London's layout. Well run. Not crowded when I went at sunset (the best time to go, see day, sunset and nigh time lights) Pricey.
p. m.
Amazing views, no time limits, very nice experience.
M. N.
We have been up to the top of the Shard a few times now, and have nothing bad to say about it.
Once your at the top you can enjoy 360 degree views of London. The atmosphere is very peaceful and I could stay up there for hours.
DEFINITELY use the toilets when you visit, you won't be disappointed, the view even from there is amazing and I have to says little bit surreal, but won't spoil it.
All tge staff are amazing, and exceptionally polite.
Its worth a visit if your London.
A. D.
Definitely a different experience in terms of the food and location. Breathtaking view of London. The staff is very attentive and makes sure you enjoy your meal. The food looks and tastes great however i left the place feeling hungry after a two course meal, which is not good considering we spent about 120 pounds between two people.
S. W.
This was gorgeous. Had an amazing view. The food was gorgeous. Service was not great, my main came before I had finished the starter, then it took them over 15 minutes to cleae the mains and another 25 minutes before they came to take our desert order.
L. c.
Was ok the Views were good too very busy a lot of people no place to sit Reccomend give a try some waiting time
m. t.
We did the "view from the shard". It's not the cheapest thing to do in London but it's worth every penny. The staff, from front of house to security and to the top are exceptional. Very good. Hope they get paid accordingly. The experience was beyond expectations. The lifts are super fast, the views breathtaking and the interest factor for all ages make this an unmissable attraction. Thanks to all concerned.
D. J.
Even though the weather was poor the views were still amazing. Reserve a seat if you can and enjoy a drink or 2.
B. 7.
Great views of London. Really quick elevators, queue not too bad and moved fairly quickly. Staff seemed friendly.
B. B.
This place was absolutely amazing. I came here for my 50th birthday. A treat to remember with an amazing view
W. F. L.
Nice view of London! The night view of London was beautiful. I went up when it was raining and evening... the clouds provide great shots and I get to observe the sunset and night views. I enter as part of a 6 days London pass. So it was worthwhile for me. The place does not seem very big though there were 2 levels. Level 72 is open air.
Q. L.
Brilliant experience once you get up there with very welcoming staff who are ready to serve & guide with a smile. Wish you could see outside the speedy elevator & there was a more open air experience. Also would be nice if you could look at souvenir photos when they're being taken so can choose the best & better signs were posted for those coming early on where to queue.
N. G.
Great bar with superb views. Good selection of cocktails served by friendly staff. Its not necessary to book a table as you can stand and have drink at the bar.
K. C.
first timer ,we had a great time ,feeling like top of the world.......thanks to my filming friend Simon
S. D.
It was really good to have breakfast from the restaurant that gave you such a nice view. You have to have a reservation to enjoy this view. I went to 2 restaurants and clicked the picture from the restaurants to share the views with everyone.
E. W.
It is impressive as you can imagine. Staff were lovely! Tad on the busy side but that could be partly due to the school holidays.
S. S.
Well you can't control the weather. Otherwise, friendly and helpful staff. A few unreserved seats would be nice.
S. S.
I've been up here so many times now and I'm always blown away by the views...just incredible.!
A. P.
The Place is wonderful as well as the great people working there. The only problem was the weather. Lucky for me, i had taken all inclusive ticket which gave me weather guarantee. So i got a new ticket which is valid for 3 more months so that i can go and enjoy the view from up there.
A. W.
London viewed from above is just quite spectacular. Chose a lucky day with enough sunshine to stay for a magnificent sunset.
Not too crowded, quick and efficient entry, exit and rapid elevators.
M. K.
Took us about 45 minutes to get from the first queue (of 3 or so) to the top. Granted, we were there at the busiest time. Which was still busy despite the bad weather and viewing conditions.
The view from the top is very good. At first I thought the level 72 viewing platform would be outside but it's behind glass all around with just bits above open.
There is a bar on level 68 and two little stands for drinks and snacks on level 72. Price is not as expensive as I would've thought. 7 or so quid for two fairly nice cups of "speciality" (= citrus) hot chocolate.
There are some seats to sit at while you enjoy your drink and the view. Don't expect to get one when it's busy (~ 15:00 at the weekend) though.
Friendly and accommodating staff all around.
O.
Definitely paying for the view....
Food was tasty, service was good.
Bread shouldn't be chargeable....that's quite a basic.
L. S.
Very helpful staff, we had tickets for the viewing platform, but on arrival on the day we was told they are fully booked... the staff was so helpful and have extended our tickets for another 3 months.... not ideal, love london and get to have another visit.
C. B.
Staff welcoming and friendly. Nothing was an issue to them. Food incredible and we found reasonably priced considering the location. But the views are a deal breaker. Just amazing!
B. B.
Good job we had fast track tickets otherwise waiting in the queue would have been painful. They need to make the signs much clearer as to where the entrance is. Once in its nice and clean, we had a great view on the day. But after 20 mins got bored with the kids. Wouldn't come again but worth it for the one visit.
L. B.
Lovely afternoon tea, had the Peter Pan tea. I would highly recommend the experience. As a customer, nothing was enough and we were looked after.
M.
Before I visited the open rooftop of the Shard, I used to criticise how the way the building looked like it was 'incomplete' at the top, as it was left 'open', etc.
Then I paid it a visit during the winter months and managed to get the timing perfect (so that we could enjoy the evening sunset) and all I can say is "wow!".
I can't really describe to you in words as to how it makes you feel, but it's genuinely amazing and breathtaking - to be at the top in the elements and viewing the entire city skyline whilst watching the sun go down is just so incredibly poetic and beautiful - words cannot describe the feeling.
I honestly recommend this to anyone even thinking about going - the 'London Eye' is nothing compared to this.
Highly recommended.
J. M.
We went on a sunny but windy day the views were amazing even saw a lovely sunset bit chilly the staff were really helpful and friendly

We visited during Covid, so entry to the building was socially distanced and our temperatures were checked (all very politely). We were dining at Ting on the 35th floor, so our lift took us straight there and we were lucky enough to have window seats and enjoy the London skyline from late afternoon, through sunset and into the evening.

We were staying in Bloomsbury so we used the Hop On Hop Off Bus which picked us up from right across the road from our hotel. It was part of the 1 Day London Pass which also got us into the Shard quickly and easily. Once we got to the top we were drawn to the massive glass walls where you could see the Thames, the funny shaped buildings like the guerkin, mobile phone and London Bridge. We spent about 30 minutes taking lots of pictures and taking in the views. There’s another level up that has the cafe and bar but we weren’t there to eat or drink so we went back down to the exit and bought souvenirs. I would definitely recommend going up the Shard building mostly for the views and taking photos.

Very polite staffs, professional service, very nice view specially on sunset, Tasty champagne but I suggest that you get the ticket with champagne deal and then inside you can upgrade your drinks.

I took the wife here for our anniversary as part of a night of celebration out on the town. We had an amazing meal here and myself being afraid of heights, couldn't have picked a more suited placement next to the window! The structure itself is overwhelmingly huge and a site to behold.
I would visit again and again without a doubt. Definitely worth trying if you are afraid of heights as it does build up your tolerance...if not then do it for the thrill!

Living the high life with sensational views from Oblix, great cocktails and staff were fantastic. Smashing place, will go back - highly recommended

Iconic high rise making London’s skyline more spectacular. Quite uniquely designed.

A summers trip in London, 2009. We inadvertently came across a major redevelopment. The pictures show the foundations of the Shard and major works taking place at the building site. Also, CGI pictures of the Shard on the marketing boards.

Amazing. Let me ved every minute, even though I'm afraid of heights. This had to be done!

Great views when the sky is clear. When we went up we were told it was fully booked, but it didn't feel crowded and you could still get right up to the windows. Cocktails are great but prepared for the price central London rate but inline with most other cocktails in London.

It’s an amazing experience. I got it as a present to watch a sunset with a glass of champagne with my boyfriend, but once you see London from the Shard you will love this capital. The second floor is always less busy but make sure you’re have an extra layer of clothes as it’s windy up there. You can also buy any souvenir from the gift shop and get photos as a memory.

Fantastic place. A must do when visiting London.

It's pricey, but you do get a great view of London. Looks like a toy town with a model railway.

Definitely one of my favorite sightseeing spots in London. Is costs a little but its so worth it. Make sure to go on a sunny day. Don’t buy the pictures, they are horribly made (worst photoshop I’ve ever seen).

The staff were very attentive and paid great attention to detail. On every step of the way they explained where you were going, how you would get there and what will happen when you arrived. Once you have paid to get in you can stay for as long as you like. And you will want to stay. The views of London are magnificent. They have two floors for viewing, good restrooms and bars. What better way to spend a few hours drinking a glass (or bottle) of champagne and enjoying those views. Good souvenir shops too and as I've mentioned highly attentive staff. A must do if you are a tourist in London.

Fantastic views, great food, very loud in restaurant, hard to see menu choices in light, also majority of staff were welcoming throughout our arrival, alas, some were not as welcoming and were stand offish, for an icon of London I expected that staff from security to restaurant should all be friendly and welcoming.

Spectacular views of London, however, I visited in the day time and although I really enjoyed. I visited The Shard with my niece (13) and nephew (11) who both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A helicopter flying close by made the experience better and somewhat scary at the same time.
The view I believe would look better at night where you would be surrounded in lights.
Non the less well worth the experience. Book in advance to fast track the ridiculously long queues.

One of the best place to visit.
The view is amazing and scary as well.
Will definitely visit again❤

I have visited the Shard but not for the purpose is quite intended to as I was attending a consultation in the private Clinic on the 6th floor.
I must say that I have always liked the Shard though, over the years I have heard various feedback from visitors - when it is windy avoiding climbing to the top because the view point is extremely flimsy ; there is /was a real nice restaurant at the top and so on...
The structure is obviously a powerful addition to the concrete landscape and in sunny weather the glass panels on the outside of the tower make an incredible subject for photography no doubt.
I am not sure if I will ever visit the top but you never know.,for now I just look up...

Spectacular views over the whole city. Quite a disorientating experience as you don't see outside until your actually up at the top. Entry was included in our London Pass and, great as it was to see, I don't think we would've paid to go up separately as it's quite expensive for what it is. Highlight for my daughter and me was going to the loo where there was a full length clear window!!! 😆

I really enjoyed the shard. Unfortunately I could go there during the day but still the view was breath-taking . It reminded me about Eiffel Tower a little just without this big wind blowing everywhere so the experience was really great. You can see almost all the london bridges in one go ;) and the royal warship . You have little bars on the top floors so you can have a drink and take time to relax. I will go again just by the night fall this time.

Best experience in the UK so far excellent 👌

Fantastic views of the City.
We viewed at night, just going from sunset.
Last available time was 21:30, we went up just after 8pm. No queuing to go up, was busy on both viewing platforms but this went a little later.
Enjoyed a drink with a fantastic view.

The views are stupendous, and the atmosphere (and loos!) really, really nice. Very tasty food.
A rather over-complicated drinks menu describing what was simply was a set-price menu deal, which they called brunch, but was all throughout the day. And there is no a la carte.
It lost another star because the male waiter saw fit to touch me on the upper arm within 5 minutes of my sitting down. I think women the world over have had enough of that.

Really beautiful views across London. I wouldn't pay the £100 fee, I would get a London pass instead, and use that. The views and incredible though. The lift goes so fast, when you get out on the 66th floor, you are astounded by the view. My favourite part was that the top deck was in the part which was not finished, so it is open. You can get ice cream and drinks from the top as well.

We had the Peter pan afternoon tea at the aquashard. Delicious food and beautiful views

After a lot of work, liaising with the city council, planning authorities, building contractors, and architect's. Finally, I was able to open the Shard in 2013. I was intending to build it in Kedington, Suffolk - but the backwards county council, for reasons I cannot fathom, felt it wouldn't be in keeping with a village of roughly 1000 residents. As a result I was forced to build in London, at great additional expense. However, when I relax in my bar at the top of my skyscraper, sipping Hooch with Prince Charles, Bill Oddie and Ronaldo (the pony) it makes it all worth it.

Superb service. Our personal attendant roberto was very helpful and efficient. Food was topnotch

Amazing experience, recommend visiting!
When I was there, there was no time limit on how long you can stay up. There a nice bar area on the top.

Love it here. The choice of food is really good. Either too easy here or buy too take home. We liked the goat milk ice cream. 🐐👍The best choice of cheese.

It was a delight seeing London's 360 deg view. ♥️👍

Great meal at the Aqua. Staff were faultless and accommodating. Cocktails were perfect.

A great experience to view London and further afar. Although it was very busy with lots of people and this was on a Fridayafternoon. Trying to view certain locations around the building was really difficult especially when people would hang because there was no where else to stand. The queues for the drinks were really long but they did taste really nice with plenty of cocktails to choose from.
A great experience. Great for tourists.

The view was absolutely amazing. However there is a downside. You pay 30 pounds and the windows are dirty. Even with good camera it's really hard to take photos. It's almost impossible to make the shots that you want, because your camera must be as close to the glass, as possible in order to avoid the dirt. It's definitely worth going up there, but don't expect to get the perfect pictures. You can see mine taken with the pixel 2 xl. I've uploaded 2 of the bad ones just to show you the dust. If you have the time, I would suggest going for sunset. It's beautiful. You can also stay a bit longer and see the night view. Enjoy it, while you're up there. :)

Having been to many lookouts around the world, I had lost interest and wasn’t too keen on going to the shard.
However it was included in the London Pass so I decided to go at dusk
Wow what a view. London from every angle. I had the pleasure of watching the city lights turn on slowly while simultaneously watching a summer storm roll through at sunset.
An amazing building with stunning views. Glad I ended up going. The lifts are super fast too

Beautiful building in London at night. By London Bridge Station.

Good and a must see if you are visiting London

A Great experience at the view. Get there early for quicker access, there is a fast track for £10, But is not needed for the earlier visits. I went up on a slightly hazy day, but still had good views across London, can imagine it would be even better on a clear day. Well worth it.

Its the Tallest building in United Kingdom. The best it looks is the time when the too of the building is lit up, usually during Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. It’s usually quite dull on the London’s skyline otherwise.
