S.Very small museum - just a couple of rooms, but it has a good collection of William Morris samples and a nice shop. (Emery Walker's house is a little further down the road and open to the public on certain days.)
J. L.A delightful little museum in a lovely location on the river. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Very tiny but if you're interested in Morris it's a nice accompaniment to the bigger museum at Walthomstow.
a.Very small, but free to visit and well worth it if you're in the area
S. I.Limited entry because it's not a public museum. Open to society members from 2 till 5 on Thursdays and Saturdays. There are currently looking for new trustees. You can, on occasion, book into special arts workshop events like the Easter egg decorating on 12 the April. Schools visits happen too and l was lucky enough to try designing some wallpaper once when l was there. It was a dismal effort but the kids stuff looked good. It's a little dark and poky inside. That lends it a special air of artistic authenticity.
G. J.A small museum dedicated to the life and works of William Morris. It is only open on Thursday and Saturday afternoons. There is a small gift shop downstairs.
