Fabulous little museum situated in the Great Hall of Carisbrooke Castle, containing artefacts relevant to the castle’s history itself, as well as some giving a history into the island itself. Extremely informative, with plenty of things to read and look at. Make sure you pop in if visiting the castle for a more in-depth look into the castle’s history!

This is situated within the castle and is full of history. Really interesting details of Turners visit and a beautiful Turner picture of the castle. Lots of details of King Charles imprisonment and escape attempts. Good displays of local regiments and the royal connections. Guide on duty was helpful and friendly.
