Reviews of Museum of Island History
Quite a small Museum. However, the receptionist was nice and was able to tell us what else to check out in the area. Though a small Museum, it had some informative history to present to its visitors. As expected, it was excellently clean and well arranged. If you are on the Isle of Wight, it would be a good place to visit as other attractions are quite far away near the sea.
We love it very good
Small but interesting
Awesome
I was not very impressed, there are not many exhibits that can only be seen in the museum, most of them are photographs.
An eye opening experience into local and Island History.
We spent an hour in here and it was only £5 to get in for the 3 of us.
You couldn't really spend any more time here, which is quite good, as the parking is by meter and you can only park for a maximum of 2 hours anyway.
There are interactive things for children to do and it gives you a great insight into the history of the island. If that is something you are interested in then it is definitely worth a quick visit.
I wouldn't recommend it for young children though really.
I like museums i live on the isle of Wight for many years but i have not been to the island history and i do not know how much money is to get in??
It's a good museum and worth two pounds.
Ok, it's small but it's a nice museum
