ABSOLUTELY incredible! A true national treasure, a ship hull found in Newpor dating to 1400's, such an interesting visit. I highly recommend.

Brilliant place to visit . Very educational. Staff all so helpful and welcoming. Many thanks especially to Bob Evans and Charles Ferris who were excellent tour guides. Highly recommend everyone supporting this wonderful project for reconstruction bringing history back to life. Keep on with the good work. Good luck and I look forward to my next visit. Cathy Bone.

Even though I was born and brought up in Newport this was the first time I had taken advantage of this wonderful exhibition.
I visited recently with my 12 year old granddaughter and was shown around by John de Caux, a friendly and extremely knowledgeable gentleman.
I am sure John won't mind me saying that it was a pleasure to spend our visit in his company, John was definitely one of the 'old school', a real gent and, in my opinion, there aren't many like him left!
Both my granddaughter and I learnt a lot from this fascinating exhibition, well done and many thanks to all involved.

Direction signs led visitors to the incongruous siting of this project in a modern industrial estate but the volunteer staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Their exhibition, reflecting progress so far, was well designed but it must be stressed that the reassembly, in due time of the remains of this 500 years old vessel is a long term project. Well worth a visit!

They opened up especially for our group. It was amazing, we had a talk given by Robert about the ship's history and how much renovation they still have to do. They will go and do talks about the ship to interested parties not just in Newport. If you're into ships and history, it's well worth a visit.

Small business unit containing the Ship which is currently going through the final stages of preservation before the attempt to rebuild begins. Knowledge friendly staff and volunteers and a selection of related items to buy from the shop.
It will be interesting to see the progress of the rebuild over the next few years. I will be going again.

I had no idea how important a discovery the Newport Medieval Ship was. Entry to the exhibition is free and I was given a guided tour by a guide who is clearly an expert on the Ship and its place in history. The story was brought to life supported by numerous exhibits uncovered when the remains of the ship were discovered in 2002. The gift shop has a wealth of beautiful items for sale at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Very informative exhibition. This isn't a museum, it's a work in progress - preserving and presenting the medieval ship found in the centre of Newport in 2002.
