What an excellent addition to the landscape of Northampton! For anyone who might be hesitant about going in, don't worry; it's free to enter, it's a friendly environment, and there is no obligation or assumption that you are going to buy anything!
There's an exhibition at the moment of Steve Dillon's work (running until 09/04/2022) which I can highly recommend checking out. It's a quick walk up Abington Street, or just a few metres away from St Michael's car park if, like myself, are more inclined towards the sedentary.
The owner Jeff is hugely knowledgeable about the industry, and if you have even a passing interest, it's a real treat to get to speak to him. I've been reading and collecting comics for the best part of 30 years now, but in my day to day life, they are a form of media that largely gets no recognition - or even gets dismissed as being for children. To have a space like this in my town, putting a professional and dare I say grown-up spotlight on the thing that I love, makes me feel really proud. Huge thanks goes to Jeff, and I am really excited to see what's on next!

I was lucky enough to be invited to the exclusive showing prior to opening and can say with all honesty what Jeff has created is a wonderful space to showcase the most talented of comic book artists round the world. its warm, welcoming and the displays are stunning. I for one cannot wait to see what exclusive exhibitions Panel Gallery put on in the future. A big well done and great to see the first ever UK dedicated comic book art gallery

Northampton is very fortunate to host this small but immaculate showcase of classic & contemporary comics art, curated and run by people who care about both the craft and the experience. Rewarding if you're at all interested in comics or illustration, illuminating if your experience is limited - either way, well worth your time and attention.

Cracking little gallery specialising in comic book art. Went today to see the Steve Dillon exhibition. Really good. Jeff the owner was very knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Will be returning for the next exhibition.

Love comics? Love art? This is the place to be. The owner, Jeff, is knowledgeable and has a great collection to view and/or by.
Best of all. He's nothing like Mr Glass.

A fantastic addition to the town. Some gorgeous panels on display, fantastic collection covering an aray of styles.
The space is calm and well organised. It is easy to forget about the road outside and the bustle of the town. The gallery could make a great escape from a busy shopping if you're in the town and need to find some peace.
Speaking of shopping, there are a small number of prints available to buy. These can be had with or without a frame and are priced very sensibly.
I did have to spend a little time on Reddit to find the artist name of a print I picked up. My own fault really as I didn't ask, but a little info card or similar with artist details and the like included with each print would be a nice touch.
The owner, what a wonderful guy. He is not only passionate for comics and and individual art works they have inspired. He is passionate for the community around him as a whole. A genuinely interesting person to talk to, it seems he is willing to make time for patrons and guests to a degree that dwarfs even the best customer service.
TL;DR Stop reading reviews and visit the Panel Gallery.

A fantastic place, showcasing some amazing pieces of comic art. It’s become one of the few bright spots in Northampton, and very much worth a visit.

Beautiful unique art, totally original, one of a kind, at ridiculously low prices. I try and buy a piece every time I go. There's always something new to see.

Perfectly demonstrates that sequential art is indeed still art. Some stunning pieces on display when I went in, I look forward to going again soon
