Is the first time we get here and we were lucky to have snow falling too 🥰🌧🌦❄ (in April 😱). The kids had lovely time, running, riding their bikes, ball playing. Is very adequate for large family with kids, dogs walking, running 🏃‍♂️ or just to have a blanket on the grass and enjoy the English weather (four seasons in a day 🌞🌦🌩☔🤣🤣)

Great park in Northampton when you want to take a long walk or let your toddler ride their scooter. We have been here twice and it was very peaceful and serene both times. There is a children's play area nearby as well.

Lovely walking spot especially with a dog, There are a few that spoil it for others though! Male hitting his dog, kids set off firework at 6pm by where the little ones play, Male very abusive when I asked him something!!! Luckily the nice people there outway the miserable individuals!

Positive points: many bins, many dragon flies, a swan with 5 cygnets, nice obstacle course for kids. Other than that the loop we did from elgar centre around by the canal and back, was pretty boring.not much to look at.

Beautiful park. Ideal for walks, jogging, bike riding or picnic (weather permitting). Parking at the front of the park can get congested at times. Lovely countryside. Great wildlife. The only thing missing is toilets and a playground area for children. We'll worth a visit.

Super little park near Sixfields. The park incorporate a working farm and a variety of habitats and environments. In addition there are sustainability features such as a surface drainage scheme. There is also a community facility and close by are cafes and other shops. Free car parking is available.

Fantastic pathways, very suitable for wheelchairs with very few hills or obstacles. A couple of gates to get through, but easy to open. Dogs can run free in some parts, but livestock in one of the fields means all dogs should be on a lead though this part.

Lovely for dog walking, running and cycling. Over the last year it has become a lot busier and walks are not as peaceful as they used to be. Some times the number of cyclists riding too fast can be a nuisance. The local car park is now regularly full.

Nice dryish walk lots of different routes. We walked from Upton end to Kislingbury and back via the fishing lakes Cormorants, swans, a heronand lots of other water fowl. Just as we got back to the car park a Kestrel was very near hunting by the footbridge The only reason for 4 stars is no public amenities

Lovely flat walks. Dogs do have to be on lead for a fair chunk of it if you want to walk through the farm area into kislingbury but you can avoid if you prefer. Gets very busy at the weekends. Carparking is free.

Excellent outdoor space for dogwalkers and families alike. All the tracks are well signposted and a decent sized car park to boot. The only downside is that the kids play area is very small.

Wide open fields so lots of room to play games/football and is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Ideal for all the family. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly. It even has a the river Nene running through parts of it and you might even see some sheep. A nice place for dog walkers but please ensure you clean up after your dog (there are plenty of dog bins around the park) so that everyone can enjoy Upton Country Park

My friend is in a wheelchair at the moment so I took her to Upton Park. Brilliant experience. Some of the gates were a little difficult to open and get a wheelchair through but people always came and held them back for us. Socially distancing, of course. 😁

As this is my local park I have to be a little generous! It's a big green space, so lots of room for sports or whatever activities you have in mind. There's a walking route around the back of the field which is handy if you have guests staying in Upton who want to get out and about locally. Parking is available at the front-left corner of the park by the south entrance to Upton.

Lovely country park but shame that there are no toilet facilities unless the Elgar centre is open & they don't like you using them. There is also problems parking when busy as again parts of the car park are locked unless the centre is open. Could be more community minded especially for Parkrun on Saturdays.

It's a nice start if you want to work in this business. Good managers, good people, good wage, good bonuses, good chance to promote. The only minus is that the building is old...and need some modern confort for the break time.

This isn't somewhere I go regularly. I may pass it but don't often go into it. Unless it's a Saturday morning when the Park run is on. It's about a mile and a half round and popular with dog walkers and other active people. Handy for a stroll if you live nearby or doing the park run. Pretty flat apart from one short rise so would suit anyone who doesn't fancy any strenuous exercise. 210819 Just walked through this morning. I spotted a smashed Budweiser bottle on the cycle path. I cleared it as best I could and wondered why people do this in such a lovely place. Further on I came across several caravans parked up alongside some camper vans. A discarded box of Budweiser was nearby with more smashed bottles littering the park. These travellers were making a complete mess of the park giving no consideration for their actions or the environment. Is it any wonder that we feel the way we do towards travellers when they behave this way in our beautiful outdoor spaces. They often say that this isn't typical of their kind but it's hard to believe otherwise. 240819 Today's Park Run has been cancelled due to the travellers. There will be a lot of unhappy Park runners this morning. It's probably quite unsafe for runners to be going round the park when the travellers get their eviction notice this morning.

Walking was nice enough with good paths for a buggy. Unfortunately parking is limited and the height restriction on the car park is very low, so if you have a van you'll have to park on the street somewhere. Very annoying, thank you Northampton County Corruption.

Nice well kept little country park with a small flat track like path around a sporting pitch with a community hall and changing room to the side. That is also a much larger walking route around the outside which also connects to walking and cycling routes within Northampton.

Upon Country Park to is a good place to go and enjoy the nice weather when we have nice weather and some parts of the park you can let your dog run free and let the kids run free and it's a good place to meet up with friends and family.

Great facility, with a choice of footpaths on flat hard surfaces for walking and running. It stretches probably 3 miles from Upton to Kislingbury. It is let down by there being only one car park at the Upton end, which is often full.

lovely park set in the area of upton. The main area is about a 1 mile walk around the circumference and leads through a small farm yard. There is a free car park, open spaces, wooded areas and a stream.

Obviously the reviewers who say "It's just a field" have never walked the pathways around the exterior. It is not a huge country park, but it's great for walking dogs. It used to get quite muddy in places at one time, but they have now gravelled over those areas so you don't need boots to walk round it. The path follows the River Nene for much of its length, so you can often see ducks and swans puddling about. The local farmer keeps sheep in the fields nearby, so with their braying, it feels very much that you are in the countryside.
