It was too hot to look around the museum when we visited but we chose to pay extra for the boat trip, we still bought the museum tickets :). We had a lovely time on the boat and our boats driver told us many interesting things on our journey. He was very jolly and made the journey even more enjoyable. We'd highly recommend that you visit and go on a boat trip :)!

I did my first visit there today since the referbishment, I have to say it is fantastic.
It's collection comprises of various types of boats used on the broads and there is information on how they were used and what work they were used for.
There are also some great art works featuring boats on the broads and also equipment that was used to build and repair the boats.
The exhibition features a history of marine engineering and also a section showing the wildlife on the broads.
The staff are very helpful and are very knowledgeable on the subjects, if you are on holiday in this area or just passing through I would recommend a visit.

Very interesting and informative staff were extremely helpful and answered all questions regarding the broads.
We also went on the boat trip this was so peaceful and really enjoyable the electric powered boat was lovely it was a bonus that we could take our two dogs on the boat free of charge and the crew were brilliant this was a truly enjoyable visit.

A great place for anyone who's into boats. Many and varied exhibits - the real things, not models. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Best to allow a couple of hours, without the boat trip !

Good museum with interesting facts and things that touch. Brush up on morse code before you visit and impress your family and friends at the museum where there is a morse code machine attached to a computer which will translate what you enter.
For all the Scouts out there this is the time to shine at the knot station where you can prove to everyone you did in fact get the knot badge when you were younger.
The one hour boat trip was delightful and now I can say I went out onto the broads without paying £150 to hire a boat. We went out of school holidays and only booked a few hours before the trip.

Very nice place with very nice staff. I thought a little on the pricey side for what was there. It was very interesting.
