My daughter bought me a crafting vegan cream tea for my mother's day treat. The food was truly wonderful, especially the scones with jam and cream. I loved the beetroot and peanut butter sandwiches. They may be an acquired taste though! The China was lovely too. As for the crafting, we painted some vintage saucers. We had such fun and it was a really mindful activity. We will be back!

We had such an amazing time at Debbie Bryan for our team Christmas get together: afternoon tea followed by a dried wreath making crafternoon. The three of us absolutely love crafts, and couldn't think of any better way to spend an afternoon than loads of tea, coffee and cake and unlimited access to boxes and boxes of dried flowers. The guidance given was super helpful, and the tea room itself is so beautiful and creative — a proper little treasure trove hidden away in Nottingham's side streets. Also: such good chocolate brownies, and amazing scones too. We're moving into a studio close by in the new year, so we'll definitely be back whenever we need a creative fix!

I went with my Grandma for the Jubilee Afternoon tea last week, it was absolutely delicious! Everything we had was homemade, yummy and beautifully presented. Hannah did a great job of creating the menu and looking after us on the day. Thank you to you all! 🍰

I did the glass painting when it was Light Night. Really enjoyed the experience and would like to attend again for another experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. May buy some glass paints to continue with this hobby as well. I recommend coming here for coffee/afternoon tea also.

I attended the fresh and foraged wreath making workshop with friends, and had an amazing time. The support and assistance given by Debbie and her team was excellent, and there was lots of nice greenery to make the wreath. I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to give it a go.

Fabulous afternoon tea in a lovely setting. Very attentive staff who catered superbly for the vegetarian and dairy free ladies In our party. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to attending one of the craft events soon.

Wow! It was so great to be back at speed craft, a relaxing time with lovely staff who really looked after us. The crafts were all different and enjoyable, and lunch and cake was fantastic. Thank you so much x

A wonderful gem of a cafe. Tea, hot chocolate and fantastic cake in what is probably the most artistically interesting cafe in Nottingham. Located through a shop selling a wide range of high quality, unique, hand made craft items reflecting the Lace Market's history.

I booked a 'crafternoon' with my friend where we painted wine glasses and had drinks and cake. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was great- really friendly and attentive. I also loved the personal touch of a printed out menu with my name on it! My friend and I had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a piping hot pot of masala chai, served in china crockery. The yummy homemade fruit scones arrived warm (lovely touch) with clotted cream and strawberry jam 😋
Lots of interesting decorative touches and on entry, a small arts and crafts area with items for sale.
The staff were friendly, attentive and polite.
The only distraction for me was a noticeable fusty smell which is understandable considering the age and history of the building. Some aromatherapy oils or natural alternatives might help?
Overall, enjoyed the experience so will definitely return! 🤗

We had a lovely crafternoon building a wreath as a family. Super helpful staff, lovely coffee and delicious cookies. A wonderful way to spend some time with my family on a Sunday afternoon.

Our visit on Saturday was a birthday present to me from my niece, it was a lovely surprise, we chose a plate to decorate, plenty of ideas around, lovely relaxing atmosphere, coffee and gorgeous cake also included, would definitely go again for another craft
afternoon ,thank you..

Had a fantastic chocolate afternoon tea here on 12th June. The cakes and hot chocolate were amazing. One of our friends was unwell and couldn’t make it, but it was no trouble at all for the team to box up her cakes so we could pass it into our friend for when she felt better. We will be coming back to sample the crafts on offer.

I called in with a friend for afternoon tea.I always enjoy coming here because it is a venue in which to sample home made food and experience a unique atmoshere in a delightful old building..Because it is right in the centre of the Lace District of Nottingham it has the purpose of encouraging all forms of creative art, so besides selling food and drinks it also has handicraft and art lessons. The staff who work here are also well qualified in their own artistic areas and are happy to talk about their knowledge and passion.
I had a savoury scone with cherry tomato and basil pesto. My friend had homemade soup with freshly made bread. We were both very happy with our meals and the very reasonable prices. We both like to support local, independent businesses.
Whilst eating, you can take your time to look at the quirky collection of artefacts on the walls and tables including bobbins from the local industry. They also have a large collection of lace examples.
I dont know of any other local cafe with this sort of atmosphere.
To give you some idea of possible refreshments , they sell different savoury scones, soup and olive bread, fruit scones, cakes and deserts.Look elsewhere if you want a beefburger and chips.
There is a good range of teas (17!), 3 types of coffee, soft drinks including elderflower, hot chocolate and smoothies. I thoroughly recommend you try it out.You will not be disappointed.Check out their opening times on their website before making a visit.

Visited with my mum to try our hands at glass painting. We had a drink and a piece of cake which were both lovely. The staff are very friendly and seem to genuinely want to help make your experience fun.

We had the gin cocktail vegan afternoon tea and it was delicious. Good variety of sandwiches and cakes. The shop and cafe is a really unique quirky style. I have previously visited for a supper club and also for crafts and it has always been lovely. The staff are always really helpful and friendly too :)

I ordered an afternoon tea for my wife for Mothers Day which also included a couple of mini afternoon tea's for my daughters. It was absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed the quality of all elements. We have actually ordered Afternoon Tea from various establishments during the last 12 months and have to say Debbie Bryan's is up there as one of the best we have had.
The service and ease of use of the website really helped as well.
Would recommend them to anyone.
Thanks for making me a hero on Mothers day!!

We had a wonderful afternoon and can’t wait to go back. We’d booked for an embroidery session and chocolate afternoon tea, and it was so relaxing and welcoming. And there were chocolate orange scones! What more could you want?!

I went for afternoon tea with my friend yesterday to celebrate our birthdays. As soon as we got there we were welcomed at the door. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing with a bit of background music. We were given a bucks fizz first and didn't have to wait long before the afternoon tea was brought out on a cake stand. There was a good selection of sandwiches with 4 different fillings. Then handmade cakes including my favourite carrot cake. Then a delicious fruit scone with a choice of strawberry or raspberry jam and cream. Yum! The afternoon went quickly and we were so full we had to take a doggy bag out with us! All in all, lovely food, great service and super atmosphere. Will definately come again and may just try one of their crafting classes next time! Thank you again for a lovely afternoon.

Took my daughter there this afternoon for a treat and we both loved it. Super friendly, very novel tea shop and the best afternoon tea ive ever had. Food was amazing and my daughter had the Gluten Free option with every bite as tasty as mine. Thank you.

Great tea £2.10 for a pot lots of little things to look at on the walls and such. If you like crafts and tea rooms you'll love it. (Haven't eaten here though the menu is quite extensive).
Go check it out support the place I wish there were more places like this and less like Costa-a-lota or Star-Many-Bucks.

Delightful surroundings, helpful staff and lots of lovely art and crafts on display. Crafternoons are a speciality complemented by delicious offerings from the tea room. Thoroughly recommended.

Meh. We chose this place for afternoon tea and food drink was okay but music was 80's and a bit grungy, too loud. It's like eating in an antique store or charity shop with lots of miscellaneous items around.
T. T.
wonderfull find! Great coffee, scones and quirky ambience. Crafty treasure trove.
L. B.
Absolutely brilliant place. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious and who doesn't want to craft whilst sitting in a quaint little cafe?! Highly recommended!
