We had a great time. Children were excited, but apparently it was better than expected. Bar had reasonable food, staff were amazing. The exhibits were epic. There was an event on, but everyone was super nice and fine with the boys asking questions and checking their models out.

Lovin it a lot! Is a must go for anyone loves miniatires artwork and collectibles especially those who loves warhammer lore and fantasy (i am personnaly a big fan and collector)! The dioramas arw all amazing, service was super friendly (as always in all warhammer shops), merchandise are all there from the usual stuff till the exclusives ones, the Bugman serve delicious food and good beer! So overall totaly worth the trip and a must go!

The staff were excellent. Very helpful and the displays were awesome. Spent 4 hours there. The canteen had a good selection of food and drinks.

Cracking day. Staff were all great, even when we cleared the shelf and asked for more! Museum and gaming hall were well worth the time spent, and the bugmans food wrapped the day up perfectly. Well worth the 2.5hr drive each way. Already planning our next trip.

A childhood pilgrimage....I was there in the dark age when we made our own models from melted lead and plastic moulds.... You should do a display of the art work that goes into the books and art cause I'm sure have enough for a whole gallery.
M. H.
First pilgrimage to Warhammer World, had a look around the exhibition rooms and then a game against a regular gaming buddy. Also spent money in the shop, but it would be rude not to, right? The staff were nice and helpful, especially Elliott who was great

Great visit good food hall, great shop, very friendly team and stunning exhibition even with one hall closed. Well worth the 340 mile round trip.

If you are a fan of miniature war gaming this is the destination of destinations. Just under 30 detailed, dynamic and well painted dioramas avaliable to view. Historic miniatures and other goodies on display. Massive gaming room with bookable tables. A well stocked store with unique merchandise and a few exclusive models. Well worth seeing.

Overall a great day out if you are into Warhammer went for my birthday and being my first ever visit. The exhibition area was amazing with plenty of displays of many minis and bugmans bar has a great selection of unique themed ales and food as well as a shop of everything they do. Well worth a visit

Warhammer World is a fantastic experience for the uninitiated and fans alike. The location sports an abundance of model showcases and dioramas that recreate events from the lore of Warhammer. There is a events area where players can play the tabletop games, a shop with a painting workshop, a restaurant/café and an paid exhibit with huge recreations of battles from the books and games. The main exhibit has an entrance fee, but it is pretty low.
Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.
Thanks Ryan for showing us around!

Took 2 boys both under 11, (so free entry for them, £7.50 for me). Spent 2-3 hours there, cafe was reasonably priced, (£5 for kids meals, vegan options available, staff friendly & helpful). Models and dioramas are very well done with lots of hidden details.
M. T.
Absolutely fabulous displays and so much to look at. At the end of the day those who arnt into warhammer would enjoy the displays, they currently have a hard competition where if you can find the VERY well hidden assassin and show the staff you can win an assain for free! Great place to gather references for painting miniatures.
The shops is expensive and have very little to no exclusives so I'd say most things can be bought for a fraction of the price online.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly in the shop and exhibition entrances, this place get 1 star knock down due to the lack of space and cleanliness of the cafe. Most 2 person parties take the 6+ seater tables so large groups have no where to sit and won't relocate to appropriate sized tables.
Entrance fee for exhibitions is £7.50pp (adult), kids 5 and under go free and 6-17 £5.

A great place to come even if you only have the slightest interest in Warhammer. The exhibition is incredible for the sheer amount of models painted that gave me RSI in my wrists just looking at it. And Bugman's Bar has a great selection of exclusive ales and great food. I went with friends and their kids and they had a brilliant time too and got to try painting their first model with very attentive and helpful staff.

I have been a collector and painter for years and finally found myself in Nottingham so had to travel out to see this store for myself.
It was a nice walk along a canal for 30 minutes from the town centre.
Then you arrive and are met with statues and displays that let you know exactly where you are. Staff are helpful and show their interest without being pushy. The displays are, as expected, beyond amazing. It is worth visiting just to admire the artistry.

The museum is fantastic, great scifi/fantasy
Displays, free models to paint, staff give pointers/help. They will also teach you to play the game to. I felt comfortable spending time in the museum, and painting. Bugmans cafe was fair priced good food with a large menu for most tastes. Even if you not a fan of warhammer take your kids/teens they will love it.
M. H.
Lovely staff, great exhibition, and everything else you could want from the monument to Warhammer. Bugman's Bar is also fantastic for an all day breakfast. Check out their events!
S. P.
Great couple of days battling my mates little men with my little men. Shop is massive and the exhibition is outstanding. My only complaint was that the burgers had a touch of the 'westlers' about them.
B. W.
Was recommended to go here and so glad I did it's truly mind blowing the size of the place the shop is unbelievable, the cafe is amazing and the food is great and the exhibition is a work of art. If your into warhammer you have to make the pilgrimage.
D.
Amazing work on the showcase/exhibition dioramas (took 20 minutes). No exclusives from Forge World. Warstompa pasta at Bugman's was bland. Mostly two shops and play arena. Not worth the international trip.
N. H.
You a Warhammer nerd? You like miniatures? You want to suddenly lose between 2-3 hours of your life doing something you enjoy? This is the place for you. I live in Germany but I'm originally from Derby. I knew of this place before I left England and when I started making fellow Warhammer friends here, I quickly learned that they were all dreaming of visiting Warhammer world one day. So I made an effort to visit when I returned on a trip to the UK. I was not disappointed. I took more photos of the HUGE collection of figures they had, than I took at my own sisters wedding. I spent WAY too much on amazing, unique items and books, plus I made all my German friends jealous. 10/10 would figure lust again

Any Warhammer fan who is into the models or history of the hobby will love this. The exhibition hall and Forge World store are the big reasons to visit.
Cost of entry to Exhibition hall is £7.50. This gets you a ticket for the day to go in and out as much as you please. This was the big highlight for me. The dioramas and model displays are fantastic, and the first part of the exhibition covers the early days of Games Workshop and Warhammer Fantasy. They have some great classic models. Throughout there are just some incredible pieces, some of which are enormous and full of detail.
You could spend 20 minutes looking at one diorama. So for me, spending 3 hours just in this section is worth it.
There is Bugmans restaurant where you can get food and drinks at a not unreasonable cost (particularly considering its GW!).
The Forge World store has lots of items you can only get online normally, but of course you pay big money for it. I have a huge backlog so didn't pick up anything here, but it's still cool.
If you have an army you can get around, you can also book tables to play for free, which is a pretty nice aspect of visiting.
Overall it's a must for a fan of the hobby. Unless you're not that interested in looking at others models and dioramas. Because for me that is the biggest reason to go
E. C.
This is my second visit here and it's so much fun to watch some games been played.
The Exhibit is a great place to explore some dioramas as well as some historic pieces of miniatures.
If you want to come play on one of their tables, I recommend booking well in advance, especially if there's a tournament going to be happening.
As for the cafe, Bugman’s, the food is one of my highlights of the visit! I had the loaded fries and chicken wings on my latest visits and was very satisfied with what I got for cost to portion, as well as how good the food is!
A. R.
The Mecca of the wargaming hobby. Warm, welcoming, fully stocked shops, impressive gaming area with tables and also a very good value bar amd eating place. The paid for exhibition hall.is also well worth it and can suck up a few hours no problem.
C. W.
An excellent day out for anyone interested in the Games Workshop universe. The exhibitions are quite amazing and quite staggering in their scale and detail.
The cafe is reasonable and better value than places like this usually are. There is a bar with special beer even. The theming is fairly light in the cafe and I think it could stand being a bit stronger.
There are large gaming areas and painting areas. However these need to be booked ahead.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, willing to spend time with recommendations and painting techniques and such like.
The car park was free and adult entry was £7.50 which seemed very good value for the five odd hours we spent there
D. G.
Absolutely love it. Good food, amazing atmosphere, got a game in and really love being at warhammer world.
I got a win good job because id have left my foe in Nottingham hahaha
H. P.
Definitely worth a visit for any warhammer fans.
Great customer service, and although couldn't visit the museum this time, you can still see some fascinating displays.
D. B.
Nice place to have a wonder. Resturant menu was filled with variety and food was yummy. Even got to paint a soldier for free. The exhibition was awesome, thousands of little figurines. Would reccomend a visit.
S. B.
My personal high light during a short trip do Nottingham. A must for Fans and for all fantasy interested persons. Nice table top showings. The restaurant is just fun with the names of the food. The interior is funny. It seems that players can always come to play.
Y. B.
Great for all warhammer fans. Lots of games tables. Lots of books, paints figurines etc. Hidden gem cafe with bar. Burgers, all day breakfast, chilli chips etc. Building themed like a Castle and a few statues to have pictures by. So, even if not a gamer, ( I just went in on my lunch to look) why not spend an hour looking round and having a bite to eat. It's worth the time!
J. W.
Amazing place to go for warhammer fans. And the bugmans bar is epic too

Absolutely a brilliant place My Son was in his element talking to likeminded individuals about wh40k, exhibits were breathtaking. Really enjoyable experience.
Great pub to eat and drink, very informed on allergies and so friendly the whole place was Awesome and will definitely return.
S. M.
Absolutely loved our trip here! Have been meaning to come for literally years now and can’t say it disappointed. The dioramas were sublime and the shop at the end was really well stocked (no avatar of khaine though!). They can order anything missing online for you. Will be back again for sure!
Pro tip: Finally managed to convince my wife to start collecting after visiting
D. T.
Fairly well stocked shop (no t-shirts or hats which is a bit odd), a large gaming area that you can book a table for and a good amount of parking available. The restaurant "Bugman's" is very good as well and not overpriced. The exhibition areas while full of miniatures, as you'd expect, made no use of the wider IP owned by GW such as video games, comics, animations. Has the potential to be so much more but for the £5 ticket cost it is fair.
T. P.
Had a great time at Warhammer World today. 1st time of visiting and to say I was impressed is an understatement. The shop is well stocked and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable as always. The real gem was the exhibition halls. 1000's of models to gaze over and the dioramas are fantastic. My Wife is new to the world of warhammer and even she was impressed and got into it from the very start. Couldn't spot that Assassin but I will be back in the near future to carry on the hunt !
A. T.
Not a big Warhammer fan, but went with some friends who are. I really enjoyed the exhibition area, lots of amazing dioramas!
There's also a pub inside that with some nice beers and a couple of vegan options.
S. B.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, an amazing day out! Plenty of well-furnished tables for gaming and the exhibition is stunning, even if you're not interested in the lore. Bugman's Bar serves delicious food at reasonable prices too!
B. K.
Such a good afternoon.
My children are just getting into Warhammer so we didn't book a gaming table this time, but we loved the exhibition! Such detail and artistry, there's just so much to see.
Had a good lunch in the pub and we all left knowing we'd be back 😊
-. M.
The Best Place in the world for Warhammer 40k lovers and hobbyists. Great customer service 👏kind and friendly interesting helpful people. 100% amazing products and Bugman's Glow bar is fantastic 👏.
Of course that's in my opinion as a huge lover and hobbyist myself.
W. S.
Did a road trip from Norwich and had a great day out with friends and the children. The exhibition was fantastic with dioramas containing thousands for beautifully painted models. We even got a couple of hours gaming in even though they had an event on.
O. “. M.
The exhibition was well worth seeing, great to see the old models from my childhood and how they evolved. Arrived during a tournament and the atmosphere was fantastic. Even if you aren't a collector, player or painter, you will get sucked in.
J. C.
If you're in to Warhammer then this is an amazing trip out. The dioramas and sheer number of minis on display is mind boggling.
J. S.
Brilliant as always. I visit a lot. The food is reasonably priced and plentiful. The atmosphere second to none. Anybody remotely interested in games workshop/Warhammer should visit.
O. H.
if you are a Warhammer fan you must make the pilgrimage. Wonderful staff and the exhibition is absolutely breathtaking. Food and drink is affordable. What's not to like?
P. H.
I am never disappointed on my annual pilgrimage to the epicentre of one of the best hobbies on the planet. The staff are unceasingly friendly and helpful. The food is well worth the visit and the displays are inspirational to say the least.
M. H.
Great day out! Wandering round the exhibition then pursuing the shops sure do make the time fly. Pricey but you already knew this.
Bugman's bar has good food and great service!
Staff are excellent throughout!
T. S. (.
I believe it is a sacred pilgrimage that every Warhammer fan should make at least once in their lifetime.
J. N.
The food, and service, in Bugman's was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The exhibition was well set up and well thought out. Lovely to see the miniatures from the days when I first got into the hobby (late 80's) represented.
As for the retail staff, again very helpful and more than willing to offer modelling advice.
Only complaint, not enough, if any, Ork merchandise/memorabilia 😜
a. g.
Absolutely fantastic day out, even if you are not into warhammer. The dioramas are very impressive and it's great to be able to see the history of the hobby. The bar and restaurant serves good pub food and a good selection of drinks.
T. A. J.
Absolutely brilliant day out for the initiated. For those new to the hobby or just want to give the painting ago it is also a good visit. Pop into the Bugmans for a spot of lunch before browsing the exhibitions. All the staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the products.
A. G.
Fantastic place! Even if you’ve never heard of Warhammer, go, it’ll be eye opening! Also a great place for something to eat and drink.
L. J.
An amazing location with tons of lore and history behind the stories of Warhammer 40,000 & Age of Sigmar's factions & wars, with showcases from the local community to the fan base.
On our visit with friends & colleagues the staff are friendly & ready to help, the value is very good with plenty of activities from painting sessions to tabletop sessions; the exhibitions showcasing the lore & stories are amazing & full of brilliant detail and the shop also has plenty of starting points for newcomers & fully equipped for artists and regulars.
I Recommend this for sci-fi & fantasy fans.
R. L.
I travelled especially from Essex to Nottingham just so I could come here. I didn't know anything about Warhammer before I arrived and left so much more educated. There is a £7.50 entrance fee but I was here for several hours so it was definitely worth it. It is slightly out of the way regarding Nottingham City center but we walked it in 25 minutes
R. L.
Our first visit, but definitely not our last. A must for any Warhammer fan. Spent a few hours looking at the displays before having some lunch at the cafeteria. Spent some time looking through the shop which was well stocked with helpful staff.
M. W.
My partner and I went to visit for the first time yesterday. The staff were very friendly, the exhibition halls were amazing. The food in bugmans bar was very good and reasonably priced, and again, the service was great. I am sure we will go again sometime.
D. K.
Great place to visit. Very helpful staff in shop and well presented, inexpensive exhibition.
J. A. (. T. R.
Always a wonderful experience. Friendly, enthusiastic staff, constantly evolving exhibitions, and a buzzing atmosphere. Elliot went above and beyond today. Can't wait to visit again!
K. P.
Fantastic place to visit for anyone with even the slightest Warhammer interests. Excellent dioramas and models show casing some amazing talent. Cheap entry of £7.50 per person for the exhibit.
The only disappointment was the shop at the end which was at full RRP. Frustrating when models are regularly discounted online and it must be cheap for them to sell at the place they make them.
T. S.
Well worth the trip as a nerdy pilgrimage, the shop is great too. Only thing I'd have personally liked is a bit more insight into the 'making of' and history of the various games- the exhibits were great but all the labels were pretty much 'in universe' explanations.
J. G.
Excellent, friendly staff. A quality bar with food offered. The exhibition hall is a fantastic commitment to the hobby.
The full citadel range and forgeworld is also present.
Book ahead if you want to play a game in the hall.
P. Y.
Love it! So much to see, staff are friendly and really helpful.
R. B.
Great geeky day out loved every minute
b. a.
Such an amazing place for fans new and old. Outstanding displays, very friendly and welcoming staff and a great wee bar (Bugmans) can't wait to visit again in the future. The Emperor Protects 😁
A. S.
Excellent. Massive range of products, bar and cafe, free access to gaming tables and also an exhibition of the highest quality. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Thoroughly great experience overall.
r.
Great displays, helpful staff that will let you try painting, run through a game to show you how to play.
The store has everything you could need, 40k,30k,AOS,LOTR etc
Tons of battle tables to play on or watch others.
Banging bar with food and ale.... What more could you ask for
S. G.
Awesome place for all things warhammer. Loved my visit, worth the 2 hour drive and although I did spend some money, I'd happily do it all again. In fact I have my next visit planned already.
d. c.
A childhood pilgrimage....I was there in the dark age when we made our own models from melted lead and plastic moulds.... You should do a display of the art work that goes into the books and art cause I'm sure have enough for a whole gallery.
C. S.
Just superb. Massive displays and dioramas, extensive shop with a lot of stuff you can only find online and a giant gaming hall. Friendly staff and heaps of parking. Highly recommended.
J. M.
Always a great visit! Fun to play games, just head to the shop and even better to view the exhibition if you have the time
S. H.
Fantastic place. Really helpful and welcoming staff, great atmosphere and amazing dioramas. Even the food is ok. A must visit place for any warhammer fan, of any age.
J. J.
If you are thinking of going you definitely should a great day out with everything you could want the awe inspiring exhibition is a must see the staff are very helpful the food at Bugmans is great will definitely be going for a third time
d.
Great displays terrible customer service though. I was going to drop hundreds of ££'s if only I could have gotten the assistance for them to make the sale. Kept being sidelined by people behind me in the que who are buying only 1 item whilst I had waited fairly but because I wanted 5 items (2 were on the shelves) I kept being told to wait. I didn't appreciate that at all, sidelined about 4 times by poor customer service. I ended up buying less and rightly so
A. C.
Fantastic location, great staff and extremely helpful. Delicious food and service at Bugmans Bar. Warhammer World is not just a store but a great day out. Worth the 2 hour round trip to get there.
S.
Good gaming if you're into Warhammer.
Bugmans Bar is great as well.
Sadly the Warhammer store has been overhauled and has less in it then previous to COVID, but it gives plenty more room to walk around whilst maintaining social distancing.
a. T.
There were only 4 exhibits but there are a lot of game tables to book and the shop is stocked with FW minatures as well as some exclusives just for warhammer world. Overall I'd say it's a good day if not a bit quick if you aren't gaming (which we couldn't at the time with an event on).
C. S.
The headline of this review would be excellent for a visit but distinctly middling as a gaming destination.
The exhibition hall is wonderful, with dozens of giant dioramas and historical miniatures from all eras of games workshop's past, and entry is priced pretty fairly.
The Warhammer World store is inconstantly stocked, with items routinely going out of stock and they will no longer fetch items from the warehouse for you like they once would. Whilst it is home to the only physical Forgeworld store in the UK, the new system of intermingling them with the GW stock again makes it quite hard to find stuff sometimes and during busy periods it can be quite hard to get the attention of the staff.
They do sell merchandise as well, but it's been outsourced for a while now and it's a far cry from what it used to be. Less character, more tat.
Finally, the tables. Gone are the days of dozens of finely crafted cinematic tables. There are now five or six good tables and 30 or so actually very poor tables with neoprene mats and five or six pieces of average looking plastic terrain that wouldn't look out of place at a gaming club. Booking the tables can be quite an ordeal and it's unclear how long tables are booked for.
Bugmans is quite nice though, but it has its own listing so I won't review it here.
L. R.
Been wanting to visit for 24 years and finally got the chance. Amazing day out, entrance to the exhibition a bit pricey and nobody actually checked our tickets so you could probably just walk straight in. Bar is good, reasonably priced.
J.
The exhibition was booking only due to covid, and I didn't have a booking which was a little disappointing as it wasn't on the website when I looked. The store however was amazing, they have an amazing system in place to keep covid safe, and it was very enjoyable. Definitely going to make the journey to return again as soon as is doable.
C. D.
If your a fan of Warhammer you'll love it. The exhibition hall is also a treat
S. K.
We are big Warhammer fans and went there from London. We have seen the pictures and the expectations were high. Perhaps too high. They have some nice scenery and nice painted models. The statues outside are awesome. But unfortunately the place is quite small and mainly a shop, which is surprisingly bad equipped. Most of the models on display were unpainted. So let's say there were perhaps five awesome scenery boxes on display and give statues. That's it.
N. B.
Amazing, what a great day out. Museum was absolutely brilliant and we had a lot of fun playing games there. Will be back for sure.
V. K.
If you are a Warhammer fanboy it's heaven, lots of other fans present there and the staff are helpful on enquiries about the topic.
As a non-warhammer fan, the models in the gallery are fantastically detailed. The sets of models used in the gallery are inspiring how they made each model in the massive artwork inspires wonders.
Unfortunately I was over hyped about bucks bar it's good food and good drink and the portions are reasonable. The fanboy in our group over hyped it so was a tad disappointed but rather than being legendary it was still good.
Z. 1.
Great place! Bugmans bar, burger and beer were very tasty! Shop and staff are awesome! The only place where I actually like to shop!
K. E.
I went here because my boyfriend wanted to see all the cool stuff here. There was a lot of work done to all the miniatures. Plus this place was huge and lots of tables to look at. Great job! Staff, loved there job!
J. D. T.
When I heard the exhibition was 7 pound I was a little skeptical.... Then I went in and oh my the money is worth it the amount of detail in the models were unreal you can tell a stupid amount of time went into this showcase.
D. L.
Great day out. Lovely staff, very helpful. Even the food was great. The models are exquisite.
C. N.
Very fun place to visit. Attended with someone who is a fan of warhammer and it was fun to look around. Well designed and plenty of space to play or eat and drink
T. L.
For Warhammer fans like me this is the center of our grin dark universe. The miniatures gallery and dioramas left me in awe! And Ive created Hoby memories with my children that will last an absolute lifetime.
G. D.
Great place. Been nicely done up. Could lose a few hours in their. Not a cheap hobby but a good one. Nice helpful staff especially Ashley Reid.
m. l.
Really great atmosphere, staff know their stuff but not pushy, shop well stocked and Bugman's has great food.
S. B.
Bugmans bar is a great time if the rest of it didn't exist at all. Al a whole the place is great
A. T.
Ork Tasttic. Staff very welcoming, great displays in Exhibition, food in Bugmans great. Overall 10/10 Place to visit.
E. S.
Really friendly staff. Every one of them were willing to help and answer questions. Really nice bar and overall a really nice place to visit.
S. B.
The exhibition centre is fantastic and worth the ticket money. I convinced my wife and son to join me in my Warhammer pilgrimage, they enjoyed it as well. If you’re into Warhammer it’s worth the visit, if you’re in the area it’s also worth the visit. As a plus the staff are fantastic really friendly
D. H.
Always a great place to visit. Great bar and food. Exhibition area is a must if you can't get here often.
s. T.
Great place to go if your interested in warhammer .not only do they have the largest stock of models, books , art equipment to buy , but they so have an exhibition centre , a huge gaming area with 30+ tables, they also have a very good restaurant. All staff are friendly and helpful and offer advice and only to willing to answer questions and queries about the products and the games . You could literally spend a day there
W. C.
Never seems to have a very good stock of times in the shop compared to what you can order online. Still a good atmosphere where there and friendly staff.
C. A.
Great place, the staff are really nice, and there's plenty to see and do if you're a Warhammer fan! I highly recommend it!
D. J.
Great visit again, lovely staff, great surroundings. Bugman's dirty fries were really nice. Especially accompanied by a pint of the Bugman's 6X👌
A. L.
Awesome place to visit if interested to play games, buy models and visit the 'museum'.
J. K.
1st thing to point out is the staff are so friendly and helpful.
2nd the exhibition is amazing. I've been a couple times now and it still blows me away how amazing it is.
J. B.
The original source of highly addictive plastic crack. How can this stuff be legal? The exhibition is amazing, the store selection is outstanding, the food is quite edible and the service everywhere was really friendly. Will definitely visit again if I ever get a chance!
N. M.
Staff are so lovely! The food area had a great atmosphere too! Loved walking around the exhibit - well worth it!
j. s.
Loved this place, so much to see and buy. Great food at bugmans on site too
P. S.
Being a wargamer since i was a teenager it was great to visit Games Workshop World, seeing some of the great dioramas that games workshop are famous for, followed by some tasty lunch at refreshments at bugmans bar, and a quick shop at the store or forgeworld. A great visit!
F.
Myself and my partner came in to visit today for his Birthday. A few weeks before I emailed to reserve a War Lord Titan body as a surprise for him. We came in today and went around the exhibition which is incredible! Also went to Bugman's Bar for some lunch the food is amazing! All the staff on the 13th August 2021 were super friendly and really made our day special. My partner was struggling to carry the box as you do, so Shane helped us to the lift to make it easier to carry. Overall couldn't recommend Warhammer World enough. Thank you so much ☺
T. Y.
Love it. Love the exhibition, love the Bar.
There's a great variety of themed meals at the Bar, which have some strange but delicious ingredients. Never had nachos in a burger before, but certainly look forward to having it again!
Even non-warhammer fans are guaranteed to be stunned by the sheer amount of talent on display in the exhibition.
Staff in the store(s) very helpful if you need assistance.
G. B.
Amazing. First time visit for me, and everything there is brilliant!
If you enjoy the hobby, it is worth the journey - even if the hobby is something you are not drawn too I would challenge you to not be impressed by the scale and detail of the displays.
T. B.
Really helpful and friendly staff.
Exhibition is fantastic.
P. M.
Everything I wanted it to be and more! Was a long coming my trip to warhammer world and it did not disappoint.
Cant wait to go back again.
B. S.
Such a lovely place to be. Great atmosphere, amazing food and the loveliest staff you’ll find anywhere.
A glowing review still wouldn’t do this place justice.
a.
Exhibition blew my mind! Bugmans great for a bite to eat. Shop was lower on stock but went on a Saturday midday so maybe a victim of the morning rush.
N. K.
Access to both shops, the gaming hall and bar is open to all. There are plenty of exhibits to be seen I'm these areas, but you can also pay for further access to the exhibition halls to see some amazing dioramas. Lovely place everyone is very welcoming
B. M.
Friendliest staff and the best range to browse outside of the Internet. So glad I live within driving distance, there's are warhammers stores closer but WH world is worth the extra miles
S. S.
My partner is a WH nut, I play and paint a little, that said I had a really nice day. The exhibitions are a spectacle. There are lots of tables to play (I'm not sure if you have to book though), and Bugmans bar serves food and drink. The food was really nice. All the staff were enthusiastic. Definitely recommend a visit, even if you're not massively into the hobby.
t. o. g. p.
It was absolutely amazing. The staff there were so helpful, and the museum was so fun and packed full of cool details
D. E.
Great place to visit if your a fan of games workshop. Free gaming (but you have to book) and excellent exhibition.

The original source of highly addictive plastic crack. How can this stuff be legal? The exhibition is amazing, the store selection is outstanding, the food is quite edible and the service everywhere was really friendly. Will definitely visit again if I ever get a chance!
A. C.
Fantastic location, great staff and extremely helpful. Delicious food and service at Bugmans Bar. Warhammer World is not just a store but a great day out. Worth the 2 hour round trip to get there.
A. B.
Great place, exquisite customer service.

Great place to go if your interested in warhammer .not only do they have the largest stock of models, books , art equipment to buy , but they so have an exhibition centre , a huge gaming area with 30+ tables, they also have a very good …

Awesome place, staff are super friendly and inviting. Great place for families, caters well for wheel chairs etc. Has a bar on site that is good value. Shop is extensive and has forgeworld products available as well. A large number of gaming tables that can be reserved. One of the best things about it, is that is has a large exhibition area. A huge number of diorama's and armies on display to get you enthused and inspired.
a. T.
There were only 4 exhibits but there are a lot of game tables to book and the shop is stocked with FW minatures as well as some exclusives just for warhammer world. Overall I'd say it's a good day if not a bit quick if you aren't gaming (which we couldn't at the time with an event on).
A. M.
Such an amazing day out I've been here double figures now for tournaments and just days out with friends. The staff are amazing I've had some amazing painting demos and they are just generally so helpful. The boards here are all fantastic but you should book early to get the most incredible tables

Great day out.
P. C.
Amazing place, lots of dioramas to see, maybe next time we might find the assassin 😉 food and drink reasonably priced too
L. M.
Awesome for Warhammer fans or just folks who love to see some beast mode miniatures. Pretty awesome
L. H.
Came here for the second time a couple of weeks ago, first time playing at Warhammer World too. What an absolute blast this place is. The exhibition is fantastic, Bugman’s Bar has awesome food and amazing Bugman’s Ales. Staff super friendly and chill and the games we played were awesome.
Great atmosphere. Arguably my favourite place on the planet to visit.
W. O.
Warhammer isn't my passion, but is a passion of my partners. With this in mind, I found the whole experience very good. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable about lore and models.
The exhibition area was very impressive and the accuracy to detail was impeccable.
Food service was good and ales are recommended!
I did buy a model and some paints so maybe I will be converted. Would visit again.

Good place. Impressive displays. Not a full day out unless you are really into Warhammer though.

Radgar was pleased, the cider did flow freely, the food plentiful, the store buzzed with life. Twas a good visit.

Awesome place to come for fans of all Games Workshop games and products! The museum is fantastic and crammed with amazing models and dioramas, the gaming hall is full of great tables, Bugman's is a good place to fill up between games and of course there's the fully stocked shops!
D. F.
Brilliant place to come and see some of the amazing Warhammer art work. We had a great day out!
G. w.
For people into fantasy warhaming, this is a Mecca. Amazing displays and good value for money. The only downside was parking, which was limited when we went.
A. C.
Fantastic place to visit, the exhibition is amazing. Only just managed to find parking in the car park so might be difficult at really busy times
S. L.
I visited Warhammer World and it was a fantastic day out. I'd highly recommend visiting for the day!
J. D.
Great place, friendly staff, good food and beer!

Fantastic displays right from the start, very friendly and helpful staff and such a welcoming environment for people of all ages and experiances in the hobby. Thank you for a great day
J. T.
Absolutely amazing place, if you have any interest in warhammer or modelling of any kind then this place is well worth a visit.
A. D.
Amazing as always, great place for the whole family, if you like Warhammer this is a must visit. Bugmans is a great place for breakfast or a beer
A. L.
Awesome place if you enjoy warhammer
c. h.
Parking on site. Great place for all people of all ages. I have absolutely no knowledge of Warhammer and went with my new boyfriend. From someone who knows nothing about the lore and rich stories of all the factions I can say that I still found huge enjoyment looking at all the scenes that were set and all the cabinets filled with figures. You can really appreciate the time and incredible skill it takes to complete one tiny figure but the astonishing patience for the larger scale. I will definitely visit again.
K. S.
Honestly it was just amazing, would go again, I love it too much
M.
Nicest place to be for every warhammer fan. Highly recommended. Friendly and helpful staff. Able to pay via credit card and cash
L. I. A. C.
Absolutely fantastic time. Even got to meet Louise! Exhibit is amazing and Bugmans beer is great.
Second visit, this time for the 25th anniversary event and what a day it was!
A. “. A.
I've been wanting to come here for decades, and even with the anticipation it's way cooler than I had hoped.
T. R.
The only place a games workshop fan will ever be happy. Brilliant day of Warhammer 40k. The food is great, but remember to save up for that time in the shop!
G. T.
If u love Warhammer the this is the place for you plus there is a bar as well a most go for Warhammer fans
C. B.
After not painting for a hell of a long time I went down for advice and not really wanting to talk to anyone. But when I got there I spoke to a salesman called Sam who help me so much and recommend me everything I need with no pushing me to buy anything he was friendly professional and kind I will defo be going there again and hopefully Sam will be there again. All I can say is if you never been to warhammer world before then i would recommend it highly
T. H. (.
Warhammer Mecca. Amazing tables, Bugmans is very atmospheric (if a bit pricey), the exhibition's great and the store has everything.
A. C.
Absolutely fantastic. Entry is free unless you want to walk around the exhibition which is only £7.50 and worth every penny.
The food, staff, layout everything is excellent. If you're a Warhammer fan go there!
E. J.
Love visiting Warhammer world and the exhibition has some amazing models on display. Highly recommended and bugmans has yummy food.
D. C.
Phenomenal. The exhibition displays are just awesome, in the purest sense of the word, the atmosphere is great, and the gaming hall well run and very atmospheric. Food and drink at bugmans were fine but not outstanding (that's OK, it's not the main draw!), but again the atmosphere was good.
Very highly recommended for fans, and even non-believers would struggle not to be impressed.
B. C.
Great place, friendly staff, display cases amazing andway too easy to spend money.
Throughly recommended a vist.
D. M.
Always have a great time here 🙂 But especially on this occasion as had a great time running an AoS demo with Jake
A.
First time going to warhammer world having wanted to for ages, the displays were amazing, staff helpfull and friendly and food decent
F. B.
Loved it, great food, great gaming, very friendly staff :D
J. H.
Amazing place you have to see, lovely staff who are willing to answer any questions you have and help you
G. K.
A fabulous day out with an incredible museum! Highly recommended!
K. C.
Friendly and helpful staff, a great selection of products, loads of gaming tables and lots of enthusiastic collectors. Good disabled access to the store and gaming area, decent toilets and car park. Bugmans have redone their menu though, and don't do giant eclairs any more, which made us very sad.
T. S.
Amazing place well worth the 2 hour drive
P. B.
Fantastic place for a hobbyist and wargames fan.
D. P.
Impressive, my son's number one favorite place, great modeling but not my chosen 'area'.
S. “. R.
Always a treat comming to warhammer world, the displays and the exhibitions are astounding.
However, the covid measures are lacking in my opinion. The gaming tables are too close and the restaurant is still using multi use menus.
There are ample hand sanitisation stations around ghe facility, which was appreciated.
T.
Mecca for Warhammer fans, whether your just getting into the hobby or a seasoned enthusiast this is a must for you.... Great restaurant inside, free games lobby, forge world and warhammer shop with black book library. £7.50 for entry to displays.... Enjoyable day out.. 👏🏼😎
V.
Great place, staff can be over friendly but great when you need them, gaming tables are amazing and the exhibition is interesting. Great place to come at least once if you are in to GW products. Bugmans bar also great atmosphere and food.
A.
Got dragged here by my partner but nice bar/coffee shop, I loved the decor. Even though I'm not into Warhammer the exhibition was very impressive and on a massive scale. My partner loved it.
M. M.
Great place to visit even if you'vr never played Warhammer!
C.
Incredible, museum standard exhibition. Really friendly and enthusiastic staff. Unparalleled selection of products to choose from. Great food and drink at Bugman's. A must for any Warhammer fan.
F. 8.
Nice and clean around, exhibits were cool and the barbecue ribs were outstanding
M. R.
Whether you're involved in the hobby or not, you'll most likely enjoy coming here. It's free to enter and you can set up and play a game at their games tables.
Both the Warhammer store and Forge World stores are large and well stocked with everything you could possibly desire.
The main attraction though is the Exhibition which costs £7.50 for an adult entry. There are absolutely thousands of miniatures across all versions of the game spread through a few rooms and the quality of painting is exceptional. You could spend a good few hours just admiring everything there. The large diaramas are just on another level too. Truly worth visiting for any fan of the hobby.
M. A.
It was an amazing experience, staff was amazing and you can't get board.
J. R.
Such a great place, nice staff and lots to do.
L.
The bar food and ale is great and the dioramas in the museum are mind blowing. Good luck finding the assassin on the big table near the end.
J. B.
If you're into the genre or even just enjoy something different - this place is huge and has lots to see. People will be playing the game and usually don't mind you hanging around to watch or show an interest. The exhibition upstairs shows a history of their products and gives a nice dose of nostalgia to those who've grown up with it - or a great sense of "wow" to those interested/new to it.
N. P.
Just getting into the hobby was load of fun all the diorama model sets fully done up and in action. Worth a trip to go round the exhibits and bar, obviously book if you want to play :)
K. G.
Great place to visit. Would have got 5 stars but wanted to see more of the origins and warhammer through the years in the museum. Would have at least wanted to see some of the first armies and no Bugman on show 😳. Ask the community and they shall provide, I bet
M. L.
Ah this place was so awesome! I have no idea whats going on but it was great!
p. C.
Great venue. Awesome customer service and staff are ways on hand to help.
Bugmans is worth a visit. Nice coffee and cake. Food is simple but great value and excellent quality. Free wifi and plenty to do while relaxing. Great to see lots of people playing Underworld in the bar and a game of bloodbowl was about to kick off on the table behind me!
If your not a gw fan, it's still worth a visit to see our world. Awesome place.
Lots of free tables to play, but always check for events before travelling.
Cant wait till I go back!
K.
Loved it, its busy and tables need to be booked well in advance but that's a indication of how good the place is. Bugmans bar is great for food and the shops have tons of mech for you to blow your spare cash on.
A. D.
Wow! What an amazing place. Food was great. Loved looking at the displays of models that staff are working on. Didn't have time to see the exhibition but will be back next time we're in Nottingham.
T. F.
Expensive, but amazing exhibition and simple games to help learn how to play
D. K.
Very impressive painting in the exhibition and in the shop. The kids (who know far more about it than me) really enjoyed it. I got a bit glazed over by the end, but the huge dioramas are worth the admission alone!
D. N.
Thought my 4 year old would love it... He hated it. I loved it instead.
Staff were really polite (No hard sales). reasonable prices. The restaurant is awesome, and so was the food.
D. O.
Very good pilgrimage to whw I do love building and painting my miniatures so this was very refreshing to see such intriguing displays love it TAKE MY MONIES

If you are a fan of Warhammer, or very well painted miniatures then this is a great place to visit. We went and had a great time.
a. o.
If your a games workshop fan you HAVE to go here! If you book a table make sure to do it well in advance
C. S.
An absolute amazing place to visit. The store is huge and they have anything you could ever want to buy available. It's almost overwhelming.
You absolutely need to visit the exhibition halls, where there are countless miniatures, tanks and dioramas to view. Honestly this part was overwhelming in the best way, there were just so many amazing things to look at and enjoy.
Totally worth a few hour visit if you're in the area, and even if you're not in the area it's still worth heading to :)
P. H.
Just awesome! Pay the extra few quid to go round the exhibition, it is truly awe inspiring.
S. J.
Totally immersive atmosphere. The all day breakfast is a nice bit of greed. Staff really helpful
W. L.
Amazing displays of all the models. Great pub with food served all day. Large gaming hall. Spent an enjoyable day there with my son. 3 minutes walk from Gregory Street tram stop.
C.
Visited with some friends, haven't been near Warhammer in years, staff were super friendly and helped me find some fun books to read.
Recommend popping into the restaurant to grab some food.
Also recommend the exhibition!
M. R.
This is an amazing place and fairly easy to get to from London on the train!
R. G.
If you like your Games Workshop products, this is the Mecca of their locations. Multiple stores, gaming tables, tutorials, a bar and a museum. All in one place
D. B.
Really cool place to visit, so interesting to see the guest painters work in the cabinets. If you're a Warhammer fan it's so worth a visit. I brought my partner and he loved it.
H. M.
I had a good time, but I do feel the hype for it was a bit too high. It is very easy to find. I loved all statues outside. The shelfs were lacking a bit and with some of the models usually being mail order only I do feel its hard to see if you want any of it. Pictures sell it for me. The bar was great looking, tge food was great but, a little pricey. The staff in every area was great and really enjoy there jobs. The improvements I would suggest are a t-shirt stand, show off your computer games with a few pcs and jerseys for blood bowl teams.
R. H.
Brilliant centre. Mind blowing models and a great cafe. Awesome.
A. S.
The staff are super friendly and lovely and clearly have a passion for their job, and my favourite place by far is Bugman's Bar. The coffee and luxury got chocolate are great, and the food is delicious. I will definitely happily return there over and over again lol
C. C.
Absolutely amazing dragged my eldest here who isn't really into warhammer and he loved it. We went through the exhibition and he was blown away by all of it. Salespeople were a little pushy for my liking but just treat them like fly's swat them out of your way and personal space and have a great time
k.
Worth a look round, lots to see, and the displays are outstanding!!
D. H.
Good food in bugmans bar. Brilliant staff in the shops and a very pleasant environment to play in.
J. O.
Nice to have access to all of the range in one location. Plenty of gaming tables if you go during the week. The Showcase Hall has amazing stuff in it that will make you jealous.
Most of the staff are overwhelmingly friendly and will have a chat with you (even the bar staff) about anything.
That being said, one or two were a bit abrasive. For instance, to enter the bar area, you currently have to book in advance, and then wait until your slot. But there's nothing up on any walls to say you can't go in until your time (i.e. where at other places you may normally expect to be able to enter a minute or two early, if you arrive before your time). Okay, I can't go in until my time, completely understandable. But there's no signage up saying this, and being located near the bar entrance, we spotted a few people try and enter before hand, only to be rather rudely put down by one member of staff, who even actually missed the time slot that they were so stringent about, as he was too busy painting models, whilst sat at his desk.
That being said, I'm not suggesting this one experience has tarnished my opinion of this great hobby haven, it's just something I think needs to be improved upon. Unless something is explicitly clear to members of the public, don't be rude to them if they don't follow your rules.
L. M.
Awesome for Warhammer fans or just folks who love to see some beast mode miniatures. Pretty awesome
A. S.
This is a real must you will need at least a whole day to go around the store and so much to see what a fantastic great day we had 150%
J. C.
Nice food, great staff and excellent gaming tables.
K.
Fantastic trip! We booked a table in the gaming hall first. Lovely staff member came over and let us order drinks so we qould concentrate on our game! After that we looked around the big shops and got some WHW exclusive models including Bugman himself. Next came the exhibition hall. Yes, you do have to pay now but the displays are simply awesome and very inspiring. My husband and I spent THREE HOURS looking at everything, so we'll worth the ticket price.
Great day out. Awesome experience and all the staff were so lovely =^.^=
D.
Honestly the diorama in the exhibition space is well worth the 7.50 to see it. Nothing short of art!
T. R.
An absolute must for anyone into the hobby, gaming hall is great, model exhibition is great and the shop is well stocked
M. H.
Awesome place to visit if your a warhammer gaming fan.
M. B.
Great day out for warhammer and micro modelling enthusiasts but seemed a little over crowded. Food and drink good in Bugmans bar but choice a little limited due to ongoing world issues. Book a table in advance if you want to use one as some days get really busy.
L. F.
We had an amazing day. The exhibitions are brilliant, so well thought out and detailed.
I am a wheelchair user and unfortunately the lift broke when I was on the top floor exhibition, these things happen!
I believe management really need to think of getting the lifts sorted though as I would dread to think about the health and safety of the staff and security personnel if they had to carry me down the flight of stairs to level two as there was no alternative way down.
I'm not a small lady and it would have been difficult and dangerous for the staff and highly humiliating for me!
Luckily I can walk a little and with the help of my partner (who put a Titan to shame that day!) I managed the stairs down.
The security guy (possibly named Robert - sorry) that helped us was brilliant and deserves recognition as he was friendly and calm even when I was in pain walking down. He couldn't do enough to help so thank you again to him.
Once the excitement was over and I was back on level 2, Baz came and spoke with us and he was brilliant! He seems like a top bloke and he made sure we were OK. Gave us a brilliant book of the dioramas and made sure we could have a meal in the famous Bugmans bar after for free. More than that I felt he cared that we were OK, so a huge thank you to Baz.
We were kindly given access to the staff stair lift for the rest of our visit.
Every single member of staff were brilliant, rushing to open doors for me to get through in my chair and talking with us.
I am not into WH40K as much as my partner but this trip was great despite the lift breaking, if anything it made it even more memorable. 😂
Thank you to you all for creating such a relaxing and interesting place. I can see the love and commitment you all put into your 'job'
Highly recommended!
W. W.
All things warhammer. Beautiful exhibition, you have to be there to fully experience it!
s. w.
Really good. Even I (Grandma) enjoyed it!
The grandchildren absolutely loved it and it was very good value for money. Not suitable for small children as models depict gruesome scenes.
D. K.
Mekka of Warhammer - amazing and super friendly staff, loads and loads of expertly painted minis, pretty much everything on shelves and what is not available for delivery free of charge. They do have a restaurant section called Bugman, decent menu option with good prices. Exhibition is a must see and definitely worth the price. Our first visit and looking forwars going back!
J. T.
Great place. Very helpful staff and it's nice to get a break in Bugmans bar
M. P.
I took my husband their as a treat for his birthday and I was really surprised how good it was

Love going on the pilgrimage to WHW, it’s a truly an amazing place!
M. P.
Everything for the Warhammer enthusiast, but the exhibition is great for anyone who appreciates detailed modelling. Shop, food and bar available.
M. A.
Such epic artwork on the models and serves top beer 🍺
i. a. p.
Fantastic day out, very cheap entry to the exhibitions, gift shop had bits for all budgets. Friendly, knowledgable staff. We had an amazing time.
L. P.
Is the best display of miniatures and dioramas I've ever seen there's thousands of miniatures from age of sigmar, 40k, middle earth, blood bowl, and a few others. hundreds of dioramas of various sizes. one of if not the biggest diorama in the world.
There's a food court called the bugmans bar a Warhammer themed bar.
A giant hall for games, painting and building and the only black library and forge world shop in the world.
And on top of that there's a massive merchandise area filled with an array of different models, paints, books and more from citadel, plus some exclusive items you can only get at warhammer world including badges, mugs, wine glasses and models.
P. G.
I took my young boys and they oved it. The displays are amazingly put together with well painted figures and mech.
K.
Had a fab day, took the little one and wife (who isn't in to Warhammer) an we all had a great time. The staff where excellent, 100% covid safe, the exhibition is well worth a look and the food in Bugmans is superb. All in all 5/5 wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
S. R.
Friendly staff and a great time out!
R. A.
Brilliant dioramas awesome and friendly staff great atmosphere and good food
N. B.
Really good experience, made by the staff were really friendly and helpful.
R. S.
Wow! Go! Be impressed and overwhelmed in the best possible way!!!!!
S. R.
Such an amazing place to visit! I can't wait to go again
k. p.
Won't lie I expected more. Let me go through positives.
- Staff are awesome and helpful.
-Seeing forge world stuff is amazing.
-The dioramas etc were top notch. Seeing best quality paint jobs and all the miniatures was a dream for someone that got hooked in the late 80s.
- shop stock was good!
- you can setup and play there!
- seeing folk play kill team in bugmans brought a smile to my face!
- you can have a beer in Bugmans!!!!
Things that disappointed me:
- the exhibition could have been so much more!!! Where are the art development sections? I really hoped to see more of the history of the evolution of the various product lines. The good the bad the ugly (nagash from the 90s I'm looking at you).
-bugmans food was terrible. For the amount I spent (I could have bought a Constantine Valdor!!!) it just felt so poorly executed.
- talking about bugmans it felt like I was dining in kislev it was so fricken cold. Turn the heater on!
So that's that.
For those that don't know you can get a tram to Teton (think that's it) and walk a bit if you aren't driving.
Now that wh+ is up and running it would be good for some sorta short cinema show or something. Imagine seeing astartes or astartes part 2 on a nice big screen!
The exhibition is worth it, just wish there was more.
S.
Great day out
The exhibit Halls are great to look around and take your time finding little hidden bits and find inspiration
The staff are all so helpfull and have great advice
And the bar is a great place to sit and enjoy lunch
A. H.
Great place to visit, shop and play. Lots of inspiration for your armies, and Bugman's is a nice (although a little pricey) place for food and drink. Fab atmosphere throughout.
E. L.
If you like role playing then this is a place for you.
A MUST visit for Warhammer fans

Always a great day.

Staff excellent, new size tables and old all there for use. Worth a visit just for the Bugman's Bar, the restaurant!

Great place, great food and too many things I want to buy.
D. M.
Incredible exhibitions and a massive games room, well worth a visit for anyone interested in Warhammer, Middle Earth or models in general
O.
The home of the nerds. Warhammer World is awesome. It has a large than normal "Games Workshop" store as well as a Forgeworld Store and Black Library store too. It also has some of the best gaming tables ive ever seen. Not to mention Bugmans Bar, a theme pub that is dripping in thematic atmosphere. From a themed menu to the severed Ork head on the wall.
S. C.
Ultimate place for enthusiastics. Loved the exhibition and it is a must visit.
C. A.
Massive space. Lots of tables to play, a bar/restaurant as well as a huge shop.
For a fee, you can visit the exhibition that showcase a Lots of the works that people put into building their armies
E. R.
Such an amazing place to nerd out. There are so many friendly staff on hand to help you out if you're a beginner. Lots of game space, the only thing that could've been better was the amount of painting stations, a few more would help on busy days.
L. C.
Really enjoyed our visit there having come a long way for it. Was disappointed there wasn't any merchandise we could buy in the store (e.g. would have loved Ork t shirts, keyrings etc). Had a really nice meal in bugmans bar. Exhibition was good but would have really loved to see more than just the modern models, e.g. historic models, Video games, learn about the history of the company etc
P. T. R.
Good trip there with my son, staff were very friendly and helpful, unfortunately they didn't have the dreadnought we were after in stock, which was suprising as I thought if anywhere would have it it would be the flagship store. However he got the book he was after so it wasn't a wasted trip....Was hoping to visit the hall of miniatures but unfortunately was fully booked that day. Thought the extra portaloos in the carpark were a good idea.
T. H.
Great place to go an look around, did the exhibition this time and it was amazing the amount of time effort and artistry goes into some of their larger displays.
Bugmans bar was great as always.
L. R.
Tasty food and delicious coffee though meals are a bit pricey
K. M.
Really fun day out for the family. The bar is amazing and highly recommended. You can spend all day here with just the cost of the museum (£7.50 per adult and free for kids last time I went)
M. A. (.
Great GW gaming venue, a place that offers decent drinks and gaming for anyone interested in GW gaming stuff.
D. S.
The beers at Bugman's are ok, the food is pretty good. The gaming space is world class and the exhibition is great for wargaming fans.
D. B.
Absolutely loved going will definitely be back
J. B.
Worth a visit if you are into WarHammer. There are several exhibition halls, and some really interesting and impressive stuff in there, but it felt like an attempt to advertise their latest models, rather than the history of WarHammer. There are also a few photo opportunities outside the building.
The shop was disappointing, the majority of what it sold could be picked up in any Games Workshop store, and there was very little merchandise and exclusive items. Also difficult to browse the ForgeWorld stuff as it was all in plain packaging.
Food was fine at Bugman's. Portions were a decent size but not too huge. It was a shame that the full menu wasn't available when we visited (I think due to the transition period of returning to normality after Covid), so there wasn't many options really apart from burgers.
J. M.
Great place to pain, play and chat about Warhammer
G. C.
Great place for Warhammer gaming. It is in the name after all. Bugman's bar is wonderful. Great decor reminiscent of a typical dwarven bar tender.
Will visit again.
G. S.
Really friendly, welcoming, helpful, staff! A really creative exhibition, massive gaming hall and pub and loads of shop. A cool day out if your into that sort of thing
A. K.
Great place! Must vist for Warhammer fans
B. A.
Personally I love it, all things warhammer under one roof, plenty of staff, which is my usual gripe with anything, there are never enough people. But here there's always enough staff around. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THIS GW, we all know you can afford to keep it up.
I didn't go round the exhibit this time, but have been before, and for a few quid its great for some painting inspiration. Also, there's some older oop models in there which is always good to see.
The shop stocks loads of stuff not normally in a GW store and the FW store has loads in it too.
But be aware, your wallet will not leave without some significant damage.
R. C.
Awesome been a few years since ive visited the museum is now a real sight to behold fantastic the displays all round just inspiring. Great day out
G. P.
The HQ for all things grim and dark, great atmosphere, enjoyable bar with a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages plus decent pub quality food.
The store itself sells the typical range of miniatures, paints and books - but additionally hosts a unique forgeworld store that can't be found anywhere else in the world.
Additionally, dioramas can be seen via a paid ticketed service.
Unlike Wimbledon, even in death the emperor's finest still serve.
A. H.
Home of Warhammer, has bugmans for great food and drink and the exhibition is wonderful
G. C. C.
Fantastic experience, could not approve of the facilities and staffing anymore then being simply deserving of more then the God-Emperors blessing.
b. s.
As a Warhammer lover, this place is heaven. The staff are very helpful! The restaurant was lovely too, nice meals and a wide choice of food.
B. S.
The home of Warhammer. Anyone into it will obviously love it here. You need at least an hour to look through the miniature exhibition, there is so much to see.
The quality of the displays are beyond belief.
s. i.
First time going, loved it especially the exhibition.
N. D.
A great place for devotees of Warhammer games. Some big changes at the moment due to Covid restrictions. You can play on the gaming tables for free and/or tour the exhibition for a cost, even those who know very little about Warhammer will enjoy the models and painting in the exhibition.
M. D.
Awesome from start to finish. The thought and detail put into the dioramas is amazing
J. S.
Great place for wargaming
D. A.
Clean. Tidy. Excellent staff. Beautiful gaming area. Brilliant food served by polite and courteous waiting staff. The exhibit is a must see for fans of GW.
C. B.
An almost full selection of GW products. The thing that really stuck out for me was just how friendly and helpful the staff were. The whole site really makes this worth a visit. There's a full size model of lurtz in the entrance, and an extensive number of painted displays.
C. W.
Amazing place. I genuinely loved every second of being there
A. C.
Brilliant place, staff and facilities. Love it.
J. W.
Staff excellent, new size tables and old all there for use. Worth a visit just for the Bugman's Bar, the restaurant!
J. G.
This is my fifth visit to WH and it never seems to disappoint.
Food at Bugmans is always good and the service excellent. And the shop was really well stocked, got what I wanted and some extras too!
A. G.
As always a great afternoon out, prefect for a wet weekend
s. h.
Lovin in large if i could have a second hone this would be the place models by bucket load.
N. A.
First let me say that, I never expected to have such a wonderful time. While I wished the place was bigger and offered some kind of guide tour about how they design and make models, everything was amazing and had a great atmosphere.
My gf was amazed at the displays in the exhibition rooms. Wish there was more age of sigmar :p
Thank you again to GW for having a place that to me is better than Disneyland !
M. B.
A must for Warhammer fans and everyone who likes miniature painting and wargaming. There's an exhibition that's really worth the time and money. A real fun place to visit.
K. H.
So technically this is my closest Warhammer store, would be five stars but hey games workshop and stock issues! Other than that always love the place.
R. D.
Such a good day out, worth the travel!
A. S.
Stunning! Incredible experience.
P. K. W.
This place is excellent free onsite parking the food in the cafe was good and the staff are always friendly and helpful
There’s plenty to see here if you’re a Warhammer fan and it’s not far off of junction 24 of the M1 motorway so access is quite easy
M. P.
i'm a big Warhammer fan, travelled up from Oxfordshire to visit, having seen the pictures of WW online, expectations were high, The statues outside were an awesome welcome But unfortunately the place is smaller than i expected and mainly taken up by shop(s), don't get me wrong, the shops are well equipped with more models than other GWs, including a Forge world shop but i expected more in terms of photo ops and more things you wouldn't get at a GW store, Most of the models on display were unpainted which is nice to be able to see what some models look like built but it would have been great to see standard out of the box models painted up close by the GW team, again i know there is the hall of minis which is great but even run of the mill GW stores have painted minis on display. Unfortunately Bugman's café wasn't open when i visited so cant comment on that, staff were friendly enough when engaged in conversation. its worth a trip as a Warhammer fan to say you've been there :)
C. C.
Been wanting to come to Warhammer World since I was a young boy nearly 21 years ago, and now I finally have. It lived up to it's expectations with awesome shops, great exhibits, and a bunch of fantastic tables on which you can play. My only regret is not bringing a copy of Classic Warhammer Quest to Bugman's and play a couple rounds with my friends while enjoying a pint or three of Bugman's XXXXXX. If you are visiting Nottingham and you are an avid gamer, then you owe it to yourself to pay Warhammer World a visit.
J. B.
This place is a must for any Warhammer 40k or Sge of Sigma fan. Firstly it have loads of tables that are free to use for your gaming ( booking is advised but not a must) . Secondly it has free parking for visitors. Thirdly the store they have there is massive, it has all your normal miniature and it also stocks forge world miniatures ( big bits of plastic). The have a black library sections also for your 40k literature needs. Fourthly they have an exhibit that is massive so much to see...and last but not least they have a fully licenced bar and restaurant. All in all its great.
M. R.
One of my favourite places in the world. Bugman's Bar is awesome, having a Forgeworld store is great, but nothing compares to the epic display rooms. Warhammer World is also a great place to get a game in when you book in advance through their website. There's also plenty of bathrooms and accessibility is good.
l. m.
Excellent place to go if you love table top wargaming. Excellent tables to use to play Warhammer and all versions of it. They stock everything you will need to start playing too. Staff are friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend going it's very family friendly. My child was asked if he would like to play on the multiple demo tables with full explanation on how to play. It was a excellent day out for me and my family we traveled from north Wales to go
A. W.
Awesome shop for Warhammer (obviously). Odell from games workshop and forge world with limited editions and hard to get miniatures. Didn’t realise I had to book to see exhibition centre (website as far as I can see only shows opening time’s) will come back ASAP
D. E.
Incredible place to paint, game and shop. The exhibition is like nothing else you'll see and you can't get Forge World from any other physical shop unless you're at an event. Worth the travel and every penny.
Bugman's Bar is worth a visit for the food and drink alone - it's cheaper than you'd expect too.
W. S.
Amazing place and this description cannot give it justice. The facilities for gaming are amazing, the staff are always willing to help and answer any questions and its obvious they know their craft.
Bugmans bar do lovely food and I'd definitely recommend the loaded fries.
They have plenty of tables in the main hall with a mixture of terrain and types of maps.
The museum costs to enter but it is well worth the money and they rotate the models so its worth going in more than once.
All in all it's an amazing place with amazing people.
M. E.
The home of my favourite hobby. Not open at the moment due to covid lockdown 😭 worth a visit when they reopen though. Fun hobby, nice people and somewhere to enjoy a bite to eat. Great model displays and friendly staff 😊.
M. B.
Great place to visit if you're a lover of Warhammer. Nice (if a bit expensive) canteen and the exhibition is fantastic with some amazing sets...
S. R.
Even though it's just the shop open, it was a pleasant visit. Have to say the service was awesome. We were after a specific product and two members of staff did a thorough job of checking for us. Thanks WHW. Can't wait for Bugmans to re-open.
A. J.
A great day out for the dedicated hobbyist, my mate adored the craft ales in bugmans, highlight of her trip, astounding diaramas and displays, loved every second
J. S.
Great day out
A.
Amazing. Very good even without the paid exhibition. Big shop with loads of choice and models. Really big playing area and great staff.
S. B.
Warhammer worlds a strange venue, being 3 things open to the.public at a company headquarters/factory....
Overall Free gear quality gaming tables and a great place to hang out and play GW games. The hobby store section is great, GW expensive but also has rare/hard to find collections and a forge world physical store. The museum is good to see if you are into the hobby and kids will enjoy it, it's also reasonably priced. The upporting toilet facilities are always clean, well appointed and the disabled/baby change facilities are good.
The bar has a decent selection of drinks at reasonable prices and does decent coffee... BIG BUT the food sucks, its on the poor side of mediocre pub grub and is expensive for what it is.
It is a real shame as once upon a time the kitchen was pretty solid but these days it serves poor quality fast food fare, think burgers and loaded fries, the breakfasts are passable mind. A meal for 2 with drinks will be about 30quid and leave you feeling disappointed.
J. N.
Worth a visit for any fan of Warhammer! Great good and staff are really friendly
T. G.
Staff were wonderful and friendly. Gorgeous miniatures to look at, and lots of provisions to help with Covid. Definitely planning to go again.
D. T.
Amazing, great for Warhammer fans and even people who've never even heard of Warhammer. Fun with a lot of beautiful exhibits, nice food, a big shop, and helpful employees.
B. d.
Great place for gamers of all ages. There is a museum with displays that will blow your mind! The shop has all the latest models and paraphernalia that goes with. The pub has some great beers and a good menu. This place is definitely nirdvana. My only grumble was that there wasn't enough bloodbowl teams etc
L. B.
Great exhibition and store, the new Bugman's Bar update has really cleaned up what was a tired looking bar and restaurant. Would heartily recommend if you are visiting to Nottingham.
E. C.
Kids and hubby love this place! We will return
R. G.
It's a little bit out of the way, but there's parking on-site. Inside there's a good set of displays, the staff are friendly and eager to help, and the bar/restaurant is good albeit it a little pricey. Overall a good day out if it's what you're into, but don't expect to be coming home with money in your pocket.
D. W.
Awesome, incredible talent on show gorgeous the dioramas
D. V.
Breathtaking exhibition, helpful staff, good food. Must be on your bucket list if you are a hobbyist.
H. M. D.
Love the staff here, the atmosphere and the great food at Bugman’s Bar, it’s a great environment and hobby shop.
Definitely would recommend for new timers and old timers alike!
S. M.
This is a great place if you are interested in fantasy. Theres a great museum to go round along with learning how to play the game. The pubs good of you want a snack. Theres stuff for all ages even children can learn to play! The museum ha also many good designs I even drew a picture of one of the characters. The themes are so good, and you could get the books to.
A. M.
Amazing, the quality and quantity of models is breathtaking. The displays are stunning. The talent and enthusiasm of staff shines through.
T. M.
Hadn't booked but very friendly staff did everything they could and got us in the bar and the exhibition! Great way to spend a couple of hours.
C. K.
Warhammmer world has been a constant source of fun for me and my friends since i was a young boy, its a fantastic hobby destination and has tables, a museum and everything you could ever want for beginning the hobby experience
This would be a 5-star review easily if it werent for the painful fact that recently i have watched a decline in the communication between the store and its consumers, scalping will always happen but it is obviously exacerbated when a store decides to make a vast majority of newer products more difficult to get a hold of, this upsets customers and causes frustration for people who want to buy direct, but, are almost compelled to buy elsewhere. Confusion ensues and value is lost when it becomes priority to stock products elsewhere rather than sell them direct, people can simply google any product they sell in the uk and expect a better price than is given on site.
This kind of decline is scary as eventually we could be left with no warhammer world at all, or a greatly diminished experience of it.
Despite this, i am compelled to say that i hope this hobby is around forever, it creates friendship and community based happiness based on plastic miniatures and this is ofcourse a good thing, it encourages creativity and gives people a safe hobbying practice to follow,
I would love for games workshop to prevail and grow in the future, however, in my honest opinion it is becoming a more restrictive hobby due to increasing prices and as a result a smaller younger population of hobbyists. otherwise, 5-stars
R. B.
Mecca for Models.
I didn't know what to expect and thought it was just going to be hype but nope its excellent! Some of the dioramas are amazing and gave me loads of inspiration for my own painting. Well worth a go. Make sure you pick up an Imperial Credit at the entrance with the machine.
R. L.
Super helpful staff, even made the misses feel welcome
M. S.
*Updated at the bottom* Honestly I've had better trips here. Traveled 2 hours to get here only to find there are no tables to play on, they don't take bookings anymore so that was frustrating. Thought I'd grab a bite to eat but they have also changed there food menu and there is nothing on there I like and there food and drink prices have gone up!? Waste of my day and fule. Some poor management choices are being made here at the moment, I've been coming for 12 years and this is the first time I've felt disappointed. I hope it improves soon.
Edit- well bookings have improved as you can actually make them now but the menu in bugmans is a shadow of its former self. Some management decisions are going the right way at least.
S. B.
Unbelievable artworks and plenty of room to get your brushes or dice out!
R. W.
Amazing place for all warhammer fans. Amazing exabition halls, gaming tables and cafe.
A. R.
Great place and great staff! If you haven't been then check it out.. will be trying out the resturant the next time!
C.
Excellent place to visit for all hobbies
R.
HUGE improvements All around since I last visited in 2010. New entrance, Forge World store and layout design is fresh and I'm looking forward to returning to the gallery, bar and gaming room at some point Very soon
W. R.
An excellent showcase of all things Warhammer. Even if you're not in to it, the artisty on display in the exhibition hall is worth checking out.
A. P.
An amazing place. Kids love it.
J. B.
If you liking wargaming it's a fantastic day out
M. R.
Big shop, huge gaming hall & a great exhibition!
A. M.
Geek stuff. All good! Bugman's food is fantastic
C. G.
Love it here. Go with a friend every month or two. The exhibition is well worth seeing. The staff are more then happy to help with any issues. Would recommend for any warhammer fan.
D. W.
Fantastic day, great gaming tables, great atmosphere, awesome shopping, a great pub and a stunning museum. Just waiting for you to open apartments upstairs so I don't have to leave!
j. j.
Heaven on earth, had a wonderful time here
A. B.
Love this place. Inspiring and encouraging in equal measure
K. E.
Fantastic location to spend a day, looking at models and grabbing a bite to eat. The staff are amazing and super friendly/supportive.
L. B.
The displays and staff are always excellent!
M. B.
The ratings say it all. Where this could have been horribly commercialised and expensive, it was just great. We had kids ranging from 3-12 and the staff couldn’t have made them feel more included. Free painting lesson for our family including my Mum in her 70s! Cafe is just great and spacious enough to relax with young kids. Just a straight 10/10 attraction.
A. B.
I had the ogre burger challenge, it was very tasty and very well cooked.
A.
Left to my own devices for the most part (which I prefer when shopping) and the staff were super helpful with directions around the one-way system. Was also offered use of the lift (I have a minor disability). Only complaints are that the organisation of the shop left me a bit lost and disorientated, and the labelling on items could be more visible - it took me a while to find what I needed
D. L.
Amazing place to see, with a miniature museum and with some astounding landscapes. Also the gaming tables are free to play on. Bugmans the restaurants is really quite nice, it has the viking decor with some tasty food.
J. S. d. c.
I spent a weekend and 170£ to visit this place in 2019 and it was amazing.
A. B.
Great place, exquisite customer service.
N. R.
Amazing place if you like Warhammer. Sculptures in the car park and friendly staff.
P. _.
Great place I had a great time here hope you add more of the exabition but you should add more gamebords
R. S.
Always enjoy my visits here, particularly when they go all out for the events. Staff are amazing really help full, great to chat to the atmosphere is fantastic. Visit to Bugman's is always a must
E. m.
Plenty to see, need to go again as ran out of time in exhibition room 4, staff were lovely and helpful. Food was delicious
J. F.
This place has felt like home ever since it opened. So many memories tied to Warhammer World and Bugman's Bar.
Food is a bit pricey now, but it's pretty decent. And if you are a nerd like me, you'll find few places so welcoming.
J. N.
Brilliant place to relax and game with good food and great, helpful staff 😀love it here
R. “.
Very cool day out for anyone interested in the hobby
P. M.
To easy to spend money and the coffee is great too...
L.
Would rate it higher if I was able to visit ever
J. M.
Everything but the shop is currently closed due to covid restrictions. Everything spaced out and plenty of instructions, one way system, areas to place items touched but not buying and plenty of staff on hand to help out or just chat (from a distance). They have obviously given alot of thought into making the place as safe as possible for visitors.
P.
Absolute must-see if you're a Games Workshop fan, and a definite good day out if you're not one!
The exhibitions are some of the best I've visited, and well worth the money, staff are friendly and there is a cool in-house pub to visit afterwards.
Highly recommended.
L. J.
Great place, have been a few times with our son.
Friendly staff, fun atmosphere and great food.
Very easy to spend a few hours and a lot of money here.
L. S.
Obviously it's amazing if you like it but if you don't have a clue what it is you won't care 😂
L.
Very friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere always something new to have a look at. Well worth a visit.
D. H.
Truly epic model making skills. Food in the restaurant is good and not bad value for money. Staff are all absolutely first rate. Spent over 4 hours here with my son!
J. H.
Brilliant! Everyone very friendly and helpful. Cost is very reasonable. Loads to see. A great experience! 😊👍
S. C.
If you're interested in miniatures, wargaming/Warhammer and find yourself in Nottingham then Warhammer World is a must visit. Exhibition of over 30,000 models, big Games Workshop , Forge World(!!), big tournament area with awesome themed gaming tables and a fantastic cafe serving great food and drink. You can't help but feel the buzz from the place and you can't help but be totally inspired. Friendly, welcoming and very enjoyable.
M. W.
Honestly the best place around. Amazing team in the stores who are all really helpful and friendly as well as the fantastic team in the bugmans bar who are also super friendly and helpful and serve great food! I can’t wait until covid is out of here so I can return to visiting every week!
P. H.
I LOVE this place! Me and my friends try to come for a weekend here at least once a year and it is always one of the highlights! We've formed fun memories from our times here and met some great people too! The gaming hall is massive with a choice of exquisite boards to play games on. Bugmans bar is amazing for hanging out after games or playing some board games over a pint (try Blitzers Best). The gallery is inspirational and nostalgic. My favourite thing here is the Forgeworld store though. It is amazing to see the high quality resin kits built in all their glory. We always spend too much money here and can't wait to come back for our next fix. Keep up the great work Games Workshop!
M. D.
Geek heaven with massive diorama and beautiful display.
C. B.
The home of Warhammer in the UK. Amazing exhibition full of models and dioramas to look at. Lots of gaming tables to play on.
J. S.
Love hanging out here with my boy. Friendly staff and cool museum. Bit pricey though.
S. J.
Generally pretty good. I visit Nottingham often so it's not a massive effort getting there.
C. B.
A truly great experience.
S. C.
Absolutely loved this place, it is the holy lands for warhammer fans, as soon as you walk into the place it makes you feel like a kid in a sweet shop.
The store has most models on display and plenty available to buy staff are really friendly and will run through a game with you.
Forgeworld for the non mere mortals just mind blowing with the pieces available.
Bugmans bar lively food friendly atmosphere, quick service with the food.
Black library tucked away in the corner of the store lots of novels available and a chance to sit down and have a browse through.
Last but by no means least, the exhibition stunning is an understatement a small charge for going in but totally worth it.
It's a must see for all warhammer fans out there.
L. T.
Very helpful staff had all the right answers and was willing to go i find out what you needed if they didn't know. Very friendly and gave great recommendations. Loved the exhibition
S.
Super friendly staff, amazing displays, all models on sale and quality British food. You can easily spend a day there without getting bored, truly the best place to praise the Emperor.
M. G.
Brilliant place, fro ndly staff, great bar and all the variety of products that you could ever want. Including a few oldies :D
C. C.
An amazing trip for any Warhammer fan be it 40k, 30k or Age of Sigmar!
M. B.
Come here fairly often as I live less than 20 minutes away! Great atmosphere and really helpful and enthusiastic staff!!! Food is bit expensive in the bar for what it is and your not allowed to eat your own anywhere...
D. B.
Its Warhammer... Love games workshop and it's a five star place... Want anything other than GW then look elsewhere
S. B.
Really good food, great free tables to play on
B. S.
Had a reasonably priced cake and a brew whilst my two sons walked round and bankrupted me in the shop and forge world.
E. B.
Amazing day out! Exhibition and Bugman's Tavern is a must!!
S. A.
Impressive displays even for a non-Warhammer player!
J. T.
Firstly, if one thing were to change, this would be a five star rating. Great place to game, chance to pick up forgeworld stuff including some exclusive models. Bar with decent food and beer. The ONE negative, that is really off-putting, is the hard sell and insincere staff on the shop side. Let people browse. Don't ask the same question a million times. Stop making your staff read off the same sales card. It's so obviously been mandated by management, and it's fake and unsettling.
I. J.
One of the best shops in world. So many nice staff and good events. Couldn't recommend more
L. M.
Amazing staff and good service, the restaurant's food was mediocre to good but very good service. The enormous hall with all the playing tables was also nice with all the amazing scenery. The games workshop they have there was also very good partly because of the size, it's one of the bigger ones like Antwerp in Belgium, and it's included black library was also a nice place to be. But what was by far the coolest part is the enormous 4 hall exhibition which included the largest GW built battle scene ever, with 5300 GW and forgeworld models and 1200 scenery packets it was an amazing thing to look at.
C. L.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. The exhibition was fantastic and the food was delicious. A+++++++
T. H.
Amazing place highly recommend to anyone, I've been a fan of warhammer since I was a kid and love this place, took my wife who doesn't like warhammer and she loved it aswel
M. F.
1st time visiting. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Love all the models and the bar. Despite the exhibition having one area closed it was still worth the money.
S. P.
Always a pleasure going into the shop, staff are really friendly and inviting, aways have a laugh with the staff. Any questions they will find an answer if they don't know it they will find someone who knows the answer. Love coming here.
T. B.
Only went to the restaurant but I loved it. Food excellent and atmosphere great . Highly recommended and can't wait to in back to visit the exhibition
S. B.
Great place to go and play all GW games. Friendly staff and a real great day out
N. B.
Great place to play some warhammer and have a look round the exhibits. The bar is good too.
S. S.
Great place with all the usual amenities and stuff to enjoy and wish list build. Very enthusiastic staff to the point of annoyance. Can I please have a quiet look without a monologue about everything I'm looking at please. When I need advice I'll ask. 😊
M.
Great place. Excellent atmosphere for gamers, casual visitors and family visits alike. Staff are helpful and friendly. Place us clean and tidy. Plenty of car parking available.
B. W.
Great day at mecca. Amazing displays
