Best brewery in Plymouth by a long way , also best pizza in Plymouth !! Chilled out tap room , children and dog friendly , what is there not to like....

So lovely to find a brewery on my home turf. Peverel!! And their sough dough and goats cheese sarnie is delicious 😋. Oh!! And if you like bakewell tarts try the rhubarb one!! Thanks Dan and Maia for making me feel so welcome and feeding me well.

Friendly staff. Lovely food and amazing prices! Love the outdoor seating that is shaded so perfect for hot days and the fact they brew beer on site as well means a nice refreshing drink too! Will definitely be back!

What a great venue... the chap behind the bar, Dan with the beard, was so accomodating and lovely. Explained about the ales and let me test a few so I could decide what I liked the most... Lovely chap and the venue was busy enough to have some atmos but no delays on getting served. Lovely pizzas and had a great time. 5*****

Jon at Tavy Ales provided a couple of casks of ale for our wedding a few weeks ago. The beer was excellent and both casks were empty by the end of the evening. Jon was happy to deliver and set up the day before. Thanks

My favourite place to eat and drink in Plymouth. The beers are fantastic, the pizzas are amazing and the staff are always friendly and on the ball. Only downside is the limited opening hours but I understand the reasons. Well worth a visit.

Visited Roam for their Jubilee Beer Weekend. Mercifully bunting free, the offer was split between two bars inside (there's normally just the one bar) with plenty of space for distancing. Queues were minimal. Mood was convivial. Staff always friendly. Plenty of seating outside. Families and beer-heads alike. A couple of the guest beers were so-so but the rest of them (we had 8 between us) were spot on. Nice to see a Belgian Dubbel being served, a style you rarely see in Plymouth (curated by Vessel Beer Shop) while the Roam stout was spot on. Didn't try the food (it was burgers, rather than their usual pizzas - shame) but it all looked good as it was carried to other tables. I hope they do more festivals.

What a great little taproom! I visited Roam before and after a football match in Plymouth and was impressed with everything. The staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming, the pizzas superb, the regulars friendly and theor beers are great too. Worth a visit if you are in town, especially if you are heading to a football game

Awesome place has such a cool vibe, they do tester platters and the beers are incredibly good especially the rude Napia I’m sure exactly how that is spelt but it’s stunning, they also have a bakery sat morning and the bread is baked with the beer there 👌🏼 be careful some of the brews are potent 👏🏼👏🏼

The bakery that's here on Friday and Saturday is phenomenal. They make all their croissant from scratch and they're delicious. Crispy on the outside full of flavour and well laminated on the inside. Super friendly and helpful staff as well. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Went to Roam last night and it was so busy but Dan and Sarah were absolutely brilliant. The beer and pizzas were great but the service was next level, without Dan and Sarah there the place would just not be the same. Thanks for an amazing night.

Visited on a quiet Sat lunchtime with my boxer doggy - Cedric. Great staff, Cedric was spoilt by the bar staff. Tried the stout beer, excellent, would’ve tried others but no tasting notes were available, I would recommend this is rectified. Overall a pleasant visit, will return.

Food and Beer is always great and well priced, tends to always have a fairly lively and noisy atmosphere on weekend evenings which may not suit parties looking for a chilled quiet visit, I personally had no issue with it on my visits.

Came in for my first visit on Friday 21st Feb, got in about 6pm, absolutely packed! A great buzz about the place, The Tavy IPA was in great condition, love the fact that you can order pizza and its delivered. Brilliant place
