Nice tower with amazing view, interesting tour and extremely nice staff. The little cafe downstairs serves delicious food and hot drinks. The lady who served us was absolutely lovely!

Excellent museum highlighting the history of the Tower from the 13 hundreds to today. With stunning views from the roof up quite steep steps. The hall is used as a gallery of art's. Nice little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Very helpful staff. Pay parking short walk.

A beautifully restored part of the city wall with gallery and ground floor cafe. Well worth a visit.

Amazing interior, decadent pastry and fab staff. Dog friendly. My fav coffee place at the moment. Really a work of art inside. Must see. Ditch the Starbucks, go around the corner and grab a cuppa here. The only downside is the opening times, café works weekends only.

A pleasant surprise upon a walk around the city, a smart and modern museum which told the history of the tower from medieval times. Small, but plenty to admire, great views and a lovely looking cafe/bar. Well worth a visit if looking for something cultural in Southampton.

Worth the visit and it was nice being on the roof nice seeing art and history in one place interesting and a lovely looking cafe serving a good variety of food and drink with spacious seating and nice staff people and great branding

What a gem in Southampton. I am local and had never been before. Well worth a visit. Very informative and visually exciting. Worth the £5 entry to the tower.

Really loved the museum and learning about some of the history of Southampton that I didn't know about. I enjoyed the art exhibition too but didn't have a chance to enjoy a coffee and cake in the cafe, although it looked very appealing.

I’ve always been curious what the tower looks like on the inside and now I know! Definitely worth a visit. You’ll immerse yourself in Southampton’s history in one of the oldest standing parts of the Southampton walls.

Very interesting small museum, of the buildings history, with a gallery and cafe (Fri, Sat, Sun) attached. Good bless of the address from the roof.

Most of god's house is free you just pay to go up the tower .fantastic views .......great gallery space sympathetically restored .BakeHouse cafe too loved our visit .One safety point be careful on the stairs to the roof they could do with non slip patches on the wood

First time I’ve visited. Discovered it after going on the Medieval Wall Walk around the city.
Should be advertised more, like so much more of Southampton’s historic gems...take note So’ton Council!!!
We parked in Mayflower Park & walked across.
It is only open Fri-Sun.
It’s been done out really well, sympathetic to the original structure of the old building.
It tells the story about the building as you walk through, I enjoyed the projector show but thought it could be longer.
There isn’t a great deal to look at but what there is, is interesting & educational.
The roof view is a must.
All in all it’s worth the fiver admission.
We stopped for a coffee at the end, in the cafe where you can also buy other refreshments. It does have outside seating too but we sat in the conservatory, again really well done out.

Staff were super friendly and the buffet they laid one was one of the best I've had!
The actual building is really cool, definitely check it out!

Great print exhibition, and a very nice cafe, good atmosphere.

Great little gallery space. Good food and drink too. Shame there's so many chavvy car drivers on the busy road outside, otherwise it would be really nice to sit out there.

Had a great time exploring the history of the tower, the art works and a cake and coffee afterwards. Fantastic view from the top. Great for kids too. Would recommend.

The new café is great and really worth a visit. Terrific print exhibition was also on - the refurbishment has been a great success (showing off all the wonderful historic features)

Really interesting and informative selection of displays and historical information in the tower. Great views from the roof. Fantastic value at £5 for a 3 month pass. Excellent little cafe as well (I recommend the cinnamon buns and coffee!)

Nice historical spot. With a lovely little cafe

In a city mostly void of any culture this place is really refreshing. Beautifully refurbished, lots of spaces for exhibits and Hoxton Bakehouse is a great fit too. Looking forward to checking out the art installations once it’s open fully.

Amazing place within old walls. Very helpful staff. The Cafe is worth a try! Convenient for cruise passengers from Berth46(Ocean terminal)

It was really worth the wait for the restoration to be completed. The audio/visual presentations are excellent and illustrate the importance of the building and the history of Southampton very well. The views from the roof are awesome. The staff are young, enthusiastic, well informed and friendly. The cafe by the entrance provides light lunches and other snacks and really good coffee.
God's House Tower is well worth a visit and presently the moderate admission fee entitles visitors to unlimited access for 3 months.

Friendly and accessible staff, a very good renovation and a nice effort on the museum aspect.

Lovely new space, an interesting history, great views from the roof and to top it off the best artisan bakery and café in town. Those buns!
J. O.
Very informative guide. Additionally her granddad's memories of way-back-when were shared - made it so real. Enough interesting information is presented statically, visually and audibly in GHT.
An interesting add-on was an art exhibition in a side wing. And great coffee was had from the little cafe on the ground level.

Fantastic restoration. Great to see the building repurposed and open again.

After years of neglect it's nice to finally see one of Southampton's most historic buildings back in action. Enjoyed the views from the top and learnt some local history. The paintings that show how Southampton used to look are eye opening!

Calming, inspiring, friendly, historic oasis in the city. Great coffee and cinnamon buns. Interesting events and unique views of the city and waterfront.

A lovely evening in a wonderfully atmospheric place. Most go back to read the plaques

The venue is just getting going as an arts centre. Don't miss the newly opened cafe run by Hoxton Bakehouse - it is just lovely. And they sell Hoxton's artisan bread. Yay!
