A fantastic day. Went with my friends and had an absolutely amazing time. The scares were fantastic and the puzzles were all great fun to try and solve. There is more than enough to get stuck into in each room as we only completed the room by the skin of our teeth. I would absolutely recommend to anyone :)

Well this was honestly amazing !!…. We did phobia today and what can I say…I absolutely sh!t myself I must say it’s the scariest thing I’ve ever done in my life but it really was worth every penny. The gent who told us the story and set the scene was amazing!! He really made it even scarier. But this without a doubt is one of the scariest and funniest things I’ve done. Booking entity for next week and really can’t wait too go through the horror that I went through once again 🤣 thank you so much for making me and my mates feel welcomed and really putting us on edge the whole time 😁.

Incredibly eerie and well designed escape rooms that are challenging as well as frightening in a location with a ghostly back story, completed both escape rooms and hoping to do the 3rd room coming soon and also the ghost hunt. The game host/owner was also very insightful, knowledgeable and entertaining. As much as I am not a fan of horror and jump scares, the concept of the escape rooms here are so original and simply brilliant! I took my friend for her birthday to do phobia. The room was great, the puzzles were great and the host was amazing. It was very scary but I did get through it and we got out in time! I’d love to go back and do another room but I’m unsure if I can be that brave again! Haha! Thanks for an amazing, yet terrifying experience!

We visited today and upon arrival our hearts were racing. The guy that introduced us was super friendly, honest and got us all worked up with excitement and fear before beginning! The concept, story and effort put into the escape rooms are outstanding and we really enjoyed it. A few terrifying and cool surprises along the way too. Although we didn't finish it, we enjoyed it throughout. Even had a couple of unexplained things happen to us that weren't part of the experience which added to the spookiest upon leaving. Considering this was our first ever escape room I don’t think would could have chosen a better one! The atmosphere was great right from the start and if you’re looking to struck with fear for an hour (if you last) you won’t be disappointed! Will definitely return in the future to try all the other rooms!

Just went tonight and oh my days. The most insane experience ever. Went with 4 of my friends so 5 of us in total and we were all at one point completely crapping ourselves. We did Entity and let me tell you now; there’s something in that room. Absolutely loved it though but won’t be sleeping with the lights off for a few nights. Excited to do phobia next and then Feast (but we don’t speak about it) .

Booked phobia on a whim, it’s was so good we then booked an airbnb to come back the next day and do feast! Incredibly immersive, you really do forget you’re in a game and find yourself cowering in any nook and cranny you can to hide. The staff are incredibly passionate and it shines through in every aspect of the experience. Could honestly not recommend more! The games themselves have amazing really thought out puzzles to decipher that are challenging and so rewarding to figure out. Both rooms were incredibly different but on par with perfect experience

The best escape room ever! Took my mum and her friend to do the Entity room for her birthday- we all loved it. The puzzles were so original and brilliant. The room is phenomenal, you really do feel totally immersed in there ( I did scream a few times 😂). Mum was in her element! Would recommend to anyone. These escape rooms do exactly what’s advertised. You’re promised a scary experience and oh boy do you get it. From the moment you enter the building it just feels like creepiness personified, so if you go in already feeling scared you can only expect it to get worse. Me and my friend (yes foolishly only two of us) decided to do Entity after establishing Phobia would be too much for us to handle despite her being a lover of horrors. We were given a health and safety rule session, put our stuff in lockers, and then went onto the next room for the briefing. Once that was done it was onto the escape room. To say it scared me so much that I didn’t move from the door of the first area would probably be an understatement. I understand why the venue is called Paralysis since I was absolutely frozen in fear in what I can only describe as a fight or flight response. I inevitably ended up tapping out after half an hour and we never finished the room but I really cannot emphasise how good it was. It was fear and terror personified and being in an old, haunted Victorian house definitely adds that extra fear factor in. I 100% recommend Paralysis to any fans of the creepy, the paranormal and the horrific if you really want to test yourself. Cannot recommend this place enough! And as an added bonus, the staff are a delight, so you’re in safe hands!

Amazing experience from start to finish! From walking through the front door to being locked in the cellar was such a scary, immersive yet funny and a brilliant set of events. The host was great fun and really made me feel uneasy (in a scary escape room kind of way), he really made us both very nervous and excited at the same time- he was the perfect host! We went in Phobia as a group of 2 and it was very challenging yet the best experience we’ve ever had; we pushed ourselves and worked as a team. I would recommend this to anyone as it was my very first escape room, it certainly won’t be my last and we will be retuning to do Entity very soon! Thank you for the best time :D

I have never done any type of escape room until now, my group went to do entity. It is absolutely fantastic, everything about the place works. The puzzles are great and so are the scares. Will definitely be going back to do Phobia! Crazy to think this escape room business has probably ruined all other escape rooms for me, as I cannot see how anything else could be better!

Went here today for a friends birthday, we didn’t look at the reviews beforehand so we didn’t prepare ourselves mentally for it- deffo worth going to and the guys made us feel comfortable enough to actually go ahead and do the escape room. My sister came here about a month ago and told me that it was amazing, so I really wanted to have a go, even though I'd never done an escape room before. There were 3 of us in our group and we decided to do Entity, mostly because my sister recommended that one first. The man who runs it is very friendly and did a great job immersing us. There were definitely parts in the room that scared the bejesus out of me, but that's what made it fun! My boyfriend, who hates horror, still enjoyed it and said he's willing to come back and do Phobia. We'll hopefully be back soon and we might bring an extra person next time!

We did the phobia Escape room last Night and what a fantastic experience it was. 5 star experience, our group played both games now, and are going in for the ghost hunt, real intense atmosphere set by the team during the games. And such friendly, caring characters outside, worth every penny and there’s something fascinating about both the history of the place and some of the experiences and happenings that have took place, just a shame it can only be rated 5 stars, definitely worth more!

A seriously amazing place to have a first date. There was an IT Issue with our booking. However, the owner could not have been more apologetic and I believe he moved heaven and earth to fit us in. The escape was both challenging as it was scary and all im going to say is expect the unexpected. The puzzles were difficult, but rewarding when finally figured out. What amazing host's! We have been before to do entity, and last night went again to do phobia and then a ghost Hunt. What the guys have done with the place is fantastic and from start to finish we felt like part of the family as they are so warm and welcoming! They allowed us to structure our own night there and didn't put their own findings of their experiences out there before the evening so not to influence our experiences. We will definitely be back!!!!!

We did the Entitity game and had a fantastic time. Good story, fun puzzles to work out and great atmosphere. We also took part in a ghost hunt in the evening too which we enjoyed too. Snacks and drinks provided during the night. Hosts are welcoming and friendly. My partner is blind but they were more than accommodating for her and made sure she was included which was nice of them.

Great little venue, Damon did an excellent job setting the scene and making sure you're terrified before you even step into the room. What a fantastic evening our team had! We haven't stopped talking about it all day since!!!!! We booked both rooms and had 6 players in each! Well what an experience, full of anticipation but Oh my God it was fantastic. I would 100% rate this 5/5 it was so amazing and the host who runs the games the legend himself daman was such an amazing character in the games and in real life he shared so much with me and the group I was with I think without him this place would not be as amazing as it is. He's such a good character that I generally thought he was a serial killer as crazy as it sounds. I believed it so much before going into the games I sent my brother my live location on watsapp for 8 hours just incase worse comes to worse. I told him this a few days later and he loved it. I really do recommend this place if you want to do something entertaining and fun but thrilling at the same time. It is a place you can't describe you just have to go and see it for yourself. Me and my misses tried phobia first and the name lives up to the experience and same with entity but if you do play phobia play with 2 people and entity play with 2 if you dare but it is better as a 3 of 4 but please please please show love and support to my guy he has worked really hard and it just shows when you are there I promise you will love it.

Even though I have never tried any sort of escape room games before, I had so much fun! We managed to get out at the end and have a chat with the lovely hosts afterwards. Even my friends that have done several escape rooms before agreed that this was way nicer than the others. The whole experience was very immersive and personal and you can see that the staff genuinely loved having us there. Would definitely recommend going even if you haven't been to anything similar before, just expect to be scared!

I went here last night with my partner, sister and mate, and it was by far the best escape room i have ever done! The level of immersion makes you forget that you are doing an escape room and Damon was a fantastic host. You can really see the passion he has for creating an immersive experience for his guests! Attempted Phobia for my 23rd birthday over the weekend and would definitely recommend to any escape room fan. The room is just the right level of terrifying and really helps to immerse you into the experience. I went with my brother and a friend in early January having wanted to have a go since it opened a few months ago. We've done a fair few escape rooms (40+) and can say that Phobia is easily in our top five. Damon is a passionate and enthusiastic host with a keen eye for detail and a flair for storytelling. It is clear that he cares about you and your experience, and it refreshing to see an escape room host who is open to criticism and willing to alter his room - puzzles, scares and all. The puzzles are suited to the experience. Not too hard that the brain-frying intensity makes them impossible, but not too easy that you don't feel the pressure, and Damon knows where to give clues and where to withhold them should you get stuck. As for the scares, I was impressed and bricking it. As an avid horror fan I went in expecting annoying moments where the lights go on and off, and loud bang after loud bang as I have had in other horror escape rooms. However, I can happily say that this is not the case. I won't spoil it for you, but I shall only say that Damon has a knack for accentuating his scares, and going off of an earlier point about criticism, I think he will get better at this with every client. While I cannot say this is the scariest or most technical of the rooms I have ever done, I can absolutely commend the innovations in getting the most out of the confined space of the room. It is obviously not a room created with a massive budget, but for what it is and what it achieves, Damon has done very well. To sum it up, we had a great time and recommend this to escape rooms fans and horror fans alike. We're looking forward to his future, more ambitious projects.

I have just been to the paralysis escape room and can honestly say we loved it! Me & my friend went, just us 2 girls.. it contained lots of fun and adrenaline and Damon was a brilliant host. Visited Paralysis Escale rooms after a recommendation from our daughter. It didn't disappoint. The owner is great fun and really sets the mood before the game begins, the room itself is very atmospheric and it was great fun and scary. Fantastic escape room, run by a gentleman who is very passionate about his craft. Phobia is a genuinely scary room, and at no point did any of the scares feel "cheap" or "forced", with a great atmosphere the whole time you are locked in. 100% an experience to participate in yourself. Will be looking out for any new rooms to come out, and will be doing them as soon as possible!

This place is AMAZING! Definitely a good scare and gets the blood RACING, And the staff are GREAT and so welcoming. Loved every moment and will definitely be going back soon. 💀💀💀 After 3 months as promised we came back but this time we brought our friends and spilt into two groups to complete Phobia and Entity. I myself have played both rooms and 100% recommend them both, both are exhilarating and get your blood pumping but are also completely different. It was also really nice that both hosts remembered us from our first game. It was scary and a lot of fun. Also enjoyed the hosts giving us some great and creepy ghost stories after we all completed the rooms. Definitely a memory we all get to share forever and 100% coming back for the feast when it's open!

Wow just wow, i cant believe the afternoon i have had with my best mate, its been crazy one of the best experiences i have had. Both myself and Kirk have never done escape rooms before we didnt not know what to expect. With me having horror and scare actining and also with me having acting training i went in with high expectations. Lets just say Daemon and his team blew my high expectations away and blew me out of the galaxy. Firstly we were onlt going to do 'Phobia' but after experiencing 'Phobia' we needed to do 'Enitiy' we got the Paralysis bug. Daemon was an amazing host so welcoming and even though i havent done escape rooms before i know that this place is the best place in the UK for a horror experience like no other! Each review underneath will say what i thought of both the escape rooms, without giving anything away! Firstly 'Phobia' wow what can i say, i knew i was expecting to go into a 'cellar' but didnt expect to actually go into a victorian cellar built hundreds of years ago. The story line was so immersive i was itching to get into the cellar as soon as they started telling us the rule, got into the cellar and straight away we felt like the next 'victims' it was crazy, words cant describe it. And we escaped in time! Very challenging but it was the whole experience and atmosphere which brought the escape alive, boy 'Phobia' is one of the best experiebces i have had. Daemon has a crazy mind i tell you that. It was INTENSE. Secondly 'Enitiy', this was a complete different experience, had the same kind of idea with escape room but it had a completely different fear factor to it. There was a few things that i didnt expect in 'Enitiy' and the decor really brought the escape room alive, especially with being in the 1940s. Both these escape rooms were INSANE and INTENSE and i loved both the escape rooms, we were lucky enough to escape both rooms in time. These werent just escapes room these were SCARE EXPERIENCES and something i will treasure for the rest of my life! Thankyou daimen and team you have took my breath away today, as a customer, as a scare actor, as a performer in film and stage industrys you took my breath away. I wish you all the best for the future and i cant wait to come visit again!

A real play on fear and scares for all bravery levels has us wanting to return for more. Originally booked in for Phobia, but after completion well under the allocated time, we couldn't just walk away without attempting Entity, with a record time of the day at least achieved! Great hospitality and host! I cannot recommend this enough for anyone looking to test their skills under pressure with an adaptive, constant mood changing environment and have any bragging rights over your friends or family for bravery. Booked this a bit last minute for my best mates 40th. We thought it would be a good idea to do our very first escape room, a horror one and just the two of us! 🙈 Well we weren't disappointed. It was so much fun and so scary! We did the basement room it was brilliant!!! The staff make the experience even better, from the minute you walk in. If you love horror, puzzles and being scared, you've got to give these rooms a go! We will be back to try the other rooms! Loved it. Even though I nearly had several heart attacks. 😉
