Reviews of V&A Wedgwood Collection
M. L.
Great museum taking us through a comprehensive journey of wedgewood. We enjoyed see the evolution of the pottery industry and how Joseph change the world and creation of beautiful chinaware.
R. B.
An amazing morning with a highly informative tour of the museum with many insights into the history of the company and its founders. Prices were reasonable and parking plentiful

Had an experience day there and loved every minute of it. Highlight was the afternoon tea. Every one there was very pleasant. Great value day out.

Learn all about Wedgwood, how the business began and grew and see some of the amazing historical pieces and then get the opportunity to buy some in the outlet and gift shop in the very relaxed and spacious museum frequented by people from all over the world, entrance to the museum is free or you can pay £10 and create your own unique Wedgwood piece . If you fancy a spot of lunch head to the restaurant for a remarkably inexpensive yet delicious dining experience.

Nice museum , good afternoon tea , best outlet

Had a factory tour, museum visit and afternoon tea. Julia our tour guide was excellent.

This is an incredible experience! The building is beautiful, the reception was pleasant, the museum and factory tour is absolutely fantastic, and flagship store is brilliant. The tea shop and restaurants are delightful, fairly priced, and the staff were so happy to be there for you. I can't recommend this entire experience enough. I loved it.

My visit was with my daughter and we booked Afternoon Tea Experience, which included, a factory tour, free access to the museum. It was a great package and the Museum is a real eye opener about the history of Josiah Wedgwood and how important it all was to Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. The Afternoon tea was very very nice and set out in the lovely tea room. I will definitely go again. :-) Oh and they have the factory outlet too, worth a peak, for a bargain. I definitely recommend you check out their website and go for a visit.

Superb experience day. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The factory tour was fascinating. Great fun with the design and pottery experience. The afternoon tea was delicious and very filling. Highly recommended

Went on a free entrance event. Was extremely busy but because of the sheer size of the museum, we could wander leisurely, absorb the wealth of information and marvel at the contents of the collection!
Unable to visit the cafe or restaurant because of lack of time (one for the next visit), but called in briefly to the outlet shop that offers a range of goods for different budgets.
Planning on a visit with factory tour and cream tea (and another wander in the museum), which is more expensive, but hopefully just as rewarding.
If you are on a limited budget, then the open days are a fantastic way to visit this heritage museum.

Beautiful collection- and grateful it was open during our trip.
The staff was helpful, the museum quiet due to COVID-19, but all were wearing masks and keeping distance- staff and visitors alike.

Easily found, plenty of parking. Wheelchair/buggy friendly. Went on the experience tour, was really interesting, particularly enjoyed watching the decoration process. Liked the idea that you could go around on your own again if there were specific areas of interest. Reasonably priced gift shop. Main pottery shop rather more expensive, however, take a look at the factory outlet area, some bargains to be had there. Tea rooms and restaurant style catering, not for the small budget!!
K. K.
Loved it. Excellent value with museum, factory tour and tea rooms. You can even throw your own pot with help from an expert, and have it posted to you once it's fired.
Totally wheelchair friendly.

The museum was interesting but it is a shame the dont show you a short video of making the pottery from start to finish. This would enhance the self tour, especially as on the day I went there were not many staff showing you what they were doing.
S. F.
Really interesting and a lovely afternoon tea. Very interesting self-tour also. I really really enjoyed the trip and it even kept my four year old daughter entertained for an hour.
A. R.
Wonderful collection and superb captions to explain history. Also good restaurant selling home made dishes.

My wife is a massive fan of Jasper, but was in seventh heaven in the museum (covers so much more). She fell in love with the new Blue Pebble range, at cost to my pocket although there was a massive 25% off! Also loved the on-site restaurant - chicken noodles were gorgeous!
C. R.
Nice place as highway stop to Manchester. Great atmosphere, $3 for one teapot of English tea. Some discount for Wedgwood product. Museum is free but tours cost money.
D. R.
A wonderful experience. The museum is brilliant. Far too much to absorb in one visit but without detracting from the experience. The histoy, artwork, craftmanship and technology are all superb.

Just had lunch today with a very good friend really enjoyed it, had Butternut Squash Soup, with falafels, excellent and served in a teapot really quirky, followed by 4 little assorted tea breads divine, I don't eat cake but these were warm, and delicious xx staff really friendly, lovely atmosphere.. Good museum, very extensive on all things Wedgwood. The guided visit is good. Museum recites the entire Wedgwood Times, from Josiah until present day contemporary artists collaborations.

Great place to learn about the history of Pottery. Also was super looked after by a young lady called Lucy from appraisals she could not of been more helpful made my visit well worth while.
M. M.
Museum was quite a bit larger than we thought it was going to be. Thankfully it was quiet and we had a chance to read all the exhibits.
k. b.
This is a fascinating place to go not only to see the history of the industry but to purchase items. But be warned if its made in England your after then you won't find many items a high percentage are made in China.
l. f.
Beautiful museum and shop and lovely tea room, I haven't had tea yet but will definitely try it.
A. W.
Nice afternoon tea but the seconds shop was full of other brands items that was all made in China... not exactly what we expected.
M. T.
Educational, inspiring anything but boring. Great tea.
D. W.
Love this place. Tour was excellent. Fascinating museum showing the history of Stoke-on-Trent's growth.
A. W.
Smart place, nicely done and interesting, and had a decent lunch in the restaurant. However we were disappointed to see crockery made abroad in the factory shop!
k.
Absolutely fantastic. This MAY be closing down which would be a real shame. If only all museums could be as engaging as this

(Translated) Four best friends traveled all the way to Wedgwood Museum, a great trip👍
It is worth owning, afternoon tea set and beautiful desserts are also very good, focusing on buying your favorite tableware [色][色][色]
It’s just that the waiter is neither hot nor cold, and the packaging is very professional😏

(Translated) It was amazing! I walked next to the workbench to see in detail, and after seeing it all, I saw a large design room!
Unlike the workers who work in the field, it seemed like sitting comfortably and working on CAD, but many designers were never comfortable with stress!
Charter photos are absolutely impossible to take, so there are no photos!
