It's a one-room volunteer-run free museum. Very friendly. Some actual stuff but mostly photos and text displays. Tea and cakes and toilets might be available at St Mary's church next door if you get the timing right - we did!

A small, volunteer-run museum that packs a big punch: it tells the history of the Vale, including its literary heritage, the rural economy of the area and local history all in a beautiful C17th school room. Well worth a visit.

Small museum in very old school house, Featuring exhibitions of local heroes John Betjeman and Thomas Hughes. An annually renewed exhibition features Royal Jubilees over the years.
