Reviews of Castle Park Arts Centre
H. A.
We happened to find an "open mic" concert on Wednesday afternoon; it was lovely to sit in the sun and listen to live music. There is a nice cafe, an art gallery and a number of arts and crafts shops. Well worth a visit.

Great painting oil and acrylic. My son looking for information on joining the group call no answer.

I don't know where to start, this is a fairly small park, but I absolutely love this place, we go at least once a fortnight, it's so well kept, like my local park used to be, we live about 10 minutes from Shirdley Park in St. Helen's, once a lovely park, don't go now, it upsets me to see how it's been let to go, I would recommend Castle Park to anyone TEN OUT OF TEN Nice place for Children, families and pet friendly, I'll have to stop because I could talk about this park for ever.😀

Have been several times. Always excellent.
One point they missed this time. Bank holiday Saturday I was there just before they closed. Not long after they closed, two families arrived with young children looking for refreshments and toilets. I pointed them in direction of the kiosk by the bowling green but that was also closed. ( toilets open). It was a glorious day with lots of people in the park with children. A missed opportunity for the Arts Centre as well as the kiosk.

Lovely arts centre in beautiful surroundings.

The cafe is very nice, food looks good, coffee is excellent. Nicely arranged tables, mostly for four, under open-sided marquees, so good even if it's raining. Happy to recommend.

We had a nice coffee there, we could sit down comfortably with the kids, there was live banjo music from the small music school within the shops. Painted glasses and some other artworks made this peaceful place perfect for a rest for the body and mind. Would like to return.
