Charming place. I can imagine Lewis Carrolls birthplace as an ultimate B&B. Unfortunately it burned till the ground. Beautiful educational site anyway

Beautiful and serene spot in the beautiful British country side. Nothing left of the original building however it has been sketched out within lovely gardens. Worth stopping along with the Lewis Carroll Centre at Daresbury Church.

Interesting to see where Lewis Carroll started life. Best seen in spring when the place is awash with daffodils I think.

As a lay-by it's ok, not sure about the birth place though!

(Translated) Pleasant place accessible from the road or marked paths of the Lewis Carroll Walk through the fields. It is the place where Lewis Carroll was born and spent his childhood. There are traces of the house that no longer exists. A good place for a picnic.
