Spent a good 2 hours walking around the gardens, the house, into the fields and around the lake. The gardens were very dry due to the hot weather but still look fantastic. Always something different to see as we followed the paths. Finished off with a cup of tea and a chocolate brownie.

Great place to walk around the large grounds & lakes . The Court itself is sparsely furnished ( although more so than when we last visited inside 10 years ago ) but most of the furniture etc was auctioned off by the last earl in the late 40s . Still interesting to look around. There is also a small RAF museum on site & café.

I go very regularly here. I love the walks you can do. Great national trust to visit.
Great to take your dog. You do have to keep it on a lead for most but they have signs to say and places where you can let them off.
The house isn't the best I have been to but it's still interesting with everything it has been through.
The RAF defford museum is great as well. Interesting stuff that went on there in the second world war
There is a cafe at the top when you enter and one in the house.
There is a lovely kingfisher by the river if you are lucky enough to see it and a regular grey heron.
Have even seen a great egret there.

Highly recommended. Plenty of acres to explore. Friendly and helpful staff. Will be back again soon.

A house full of surprises! Fascinating stories by a man who loved there for a few years. Grounds excellent for walks. Transport available for those who don't want to undertake the ½mile or so from the entrance to the house. Museum on the development of radar on the same site well worth a visit if you're interested in such things.

Took our new dog to Croome for its first outing visiting the park only. The park welcomes dogs and provides plenty of opportunities for walking. Had a midday picnic on the benches provided near the car park before more walks. Have to return to visit the RAF museum soon.

Great place to visit. Not been able to use our National Trust memberships for a while. But we're about to start touring again. The membership is so worth it.

We last visited it exactly 10 years ago. A lovely, if simple, Adams building, in a large Capability Brown estate. Well worth a visit. And the excellent RAF Defford museum is a top bonus point. The cafe is quite well stocked with good snacks and drinks, with lots of outdoor space. Good parking, although you have to walk a bit to the House. There is a shuttle bus.

Great place to spend a whole day. Parkland is massive and the house is great. There is also a museum of RAF showing when Croome was an airfield training WW2 pilots
