S. P.A surprise birthday treat and I loved it! The alpacas are gorgeous...if a little stubborn sometimes 😂 ..the walk is easy pace and fairly flat, with stops for the alpaca to snack. Time to chat with your companions and a very welcome cup of tea at the end. The ladies who accompany the walk are very knowledgeable, giving careful explanation how to handle the animals and show great care for the alpaca throughout the experience. Well worth a visit!

Many of our small group commented on how relaxing the experience of walking the alpacas was, and how calm they felt. The location of the farm is absolutely beautiful, and the directions you're sent beforehand are spot on. Can highly recommend!

Jacki is so knowledgeable and passionate about her boys and girls and is so helpful with any questions and any requests. I totally recommend this to anyone.

D. F.Brilliant place! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The kids were amazed by the Alpacas and how friendly and cuddly they were. The staff were extremely informative and hold a wealth of amazing knowledge. We spent just under 3hrs there, that was trekking and feeding some of the Alpacas. This was an amazing Christmas present, one for all of us to treasure the memories. The staff do a wonderful job of looking after the Alpacas.

The staff are very helpful , polite and professional know what they are talking about and answered all our questions . The Alpacas were well behaved and walked very calmly even when the odd car passed . Would love to go back in the summer as the scenery is wonderful . Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

V. W.Beacon Alpacas what can you say that's not been said before. It was a present from my husband as I've always wanted to walk with these cuddly and endearing creatures. Jackie Barlow made us feel at home as soon as we arrived and has a genuine love for all her girls and boys (that's what she calls her alpacas) After being introduced to one of the boys ,you get a quick lesson on how to handle your alpaca and what not to do. They love all the attention and cuddles round the neck area. We set off at a nice steady pace , and it isn't strenuous so most able bodypeople would be able to do it. It's a nice leisurely walk with stops (they do like to nibble ) Walking with Alpacas is something you must try and once youve walked with these lovely creatures its something you wont forget. You also get a lovely cuppa at the end once you have given your alpaca a treat which they love. Will be going back. If you want a unusual gift for someone special then i can recommend Alpaca Walking with Jackie.

M.Had a lovely afternoon at Beacon alpacas.The two girls who accompanied us on our walk were very pleasant and informative and we would thoroughly recommend a visit.Alpacas are very amusing and intelligent animals and although we are getting on a bit the walk was a perfect distance to enjoy the countryside.

v.An amazing Alpaca farm with happy healthy animals - lovely walks up on the hills across the fields, the lady who looks after the Alpacas is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and the Alpacas are the cutest and cleanest I have ever seen. Alpaca products are available from the little critters in the field directly from J Barlow's website.
