Honestly can't recommend these guys enough - friendly, helpful and honest when buying guitars, pedals and accessories and they've made every guitar I've had in for set-up plays beautifully at a reasonable price. They've recently gone into making their own pick-ups which is really exciting.

Took my guitar in to find the problem and then fix the problem. the guys in the shop couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. Felt completely safe leaving my guitar in their hands. Great communication whilst the guitar was in the shop. Found the problem, fixed it and checked whether I wanted new strings and a set-up whilst the guitar was in the shop. Guitar is sounding great! I would happily use them again and will certainly check them out if I am ever in the market for a new guitar as they have a fairly decent selection with the usual suspects.

This a gem of an independent music shop - I took my Yamaha in to be restrung a month ago, and was greeted by knowledgeable and friendly staff; upon collecting my 6-string a couple of days later, I found the job had been done perfectly. I next dropped off my 1975 Shergold Marathon Bass Guitar, which they re-strung and re-set immaculately - I had been planning to sell my old Bass as a collectible but I'm so pleased with their "modernisation" of my instrument that I'm keeping it & am re-discovering my love of the bass guitar. The shop has a rather cool set up too in that the Repair & Service outlet is situated across the road from the main Retail outlet. Absolutely recommend in terms of the customer service, professionalism, technical knowledge and abilities.

Put my hollow bodied Gretsch in to sort a buzz that had developed on the G string so put into these guys for a set up and can I just say one thing that made the whole experience different is that not once was I looked at or treated as just another ‘customer’ it was a personal musician to musician transaction with the added touch of remembering me and who I was even on the phone it was like “oh Hello Mark” “how’s it goin?” And that’s even before we get onto the amazing work they done for me my guitar plays and sounds awesome I couldn’t be happier and the worsed thing about the whole thing was I actually never knew about the shop until very recently by complete accident and I’m so glad I did I’ve been using Aberdeens VERY VERY limited music stores for 30+ years and RamJam for me is just the best place EVER I could spend a whole day in there chatting playing their range of guitars and amps and never once being made to feel that I’m being a pain I’m sorry for such a long review but it would be longer if I could that is how good this place and these guys are 1000000% go to RamJam music they are just brilliant and welcoming. Well done guys keep up the excellent work and you are 100% get all my custom from now on 👍

Lads here are sound and to be trusted , honesty I think there in it for the love of there music and not money , broghr in a guitar today to get restringing they charged me for the strings only and restringing was free , also the priced my guitar for me and the price was spot on . I bought a electroharmonics 360 looper and was met by fun, enthusiastic and very helpful staff which in my opinion makes for a better shopping experience as in i was given so much great advice on the product and other similar products that the purchase was quick and easy, no 'sting'... i still haven't experienced buyers remorse from paying good money for quality products and I bought the looper weeks ago... all men out there.. you get me. They also have their own workshop in the back for gear set up and maintenance.

This is a great musical jem in Aberdeen. Always full of a variety of guitars and amps. It is a little store so make sure you ask if there is anything you are looking for that is not on display. They get in a variety of pre owned gear and I rarely get out of the store without a random quality purchase!

Great place. Bought a nice epiphone bass good price. Also had two guitars set up. They saved my acoustic guitar. Friendly service is an understatement. None of the usual guitar shop BS. A shop that every guitarist in Aberdeen should use. Last thing. I bought bass strings once and the restringed it for me.

This guitar shop had a great selection of really good second hand guitars. They had proper Gibson Les Paul's, flying V, Firebird, SG instruments that were affordable quality guitars. The staff were great and they let my son try out guitars even though serious buying customers were also looking. They gave very good advice and encouragement to my son who is learning. And they helped me select the right replacement strings for an acoustic and an electric, they had a good range of string quality. A different shop never let my son play, they stopped him because he couldn't buy today, but this shop were really helpful and worth checking out for some excellent guitars there. Never knew it was there but glad we went.

Excellent service again from ramjam, After my beloved Taylor 510 decided to go mute on me after a battery change I took the guitar into Alex to see what the problem was, worrying that the pick-up system had gone FUBAR and I was in for a monster bill, I was delighted to get the guitar back after a full set up with brand new elixir strings and the pickup system working perfectly again for only £50. Long may our high streets have shops with dedicated staff like this continue.

RamJam is a great local guitar store staffed by friendly, knowledgeable and helpful musicians. Ciaran did a fantastic job setting up and resolving a few issues with my LH strat. The guitar now feels much more comfortable to play and sounds so much better than before. I would highly recommend RamJam, especially for guitar maintenance.
