Leif did an amazing job fixing a scratchy knob and busted speaker on an amp of mine as well as providing some serious TLC to an old bass with a corkscrewed neck. I was allowed to rant and ramble about what I thought the problem was and that I thought would be a cool fix, which Leif patiently indulged and then kept me up to date with videos as he progressed. Both look and sound great now and I’m delighted to have taken them to Leif as he has breathed more years of life into them. Great service. Will definitely be back!

Leif replaced the frets on my old guitar and reset it. Big improvement. He sets out in advance exactly what needs done and the cost and provides a video to explain. Very straight guy. Highly recommend and would use again.

Leif took my amp as it was making a high pitched squealing sound. He didn't say how long he worked on it but I'm sure it was alot longer than he was meant to but only charged me for two hours. I highly recommend him

Leif was a pleasure to deal with. I’d bought my son a 3/4 size left handed electric guitar online since no shops here had one. When it arrived it needed a setup. Leif listened to what I wanted, let me know when it was ready and showed me what he had done when I collected it. His price was very fair and I’m planning to bring my own guitar in soon for a setup too. I’d recommend Leif and he clearly knows what he is doing.

We have been using Leif for all studio guitar set ups and repairs, as well as amplifier maintenance and repairs, pedal repairs and more for years. He always is honest, tells us what's going on, offers options for parts. He understands the importance of our equipment and what it brings to our recording studios. Superb service from RnR Workshop. My 1970s vintage guitar was in need of an electronics re-work, new bridge fitted and new tuners/machineheads. Very professional but friendly quote on the initial viewing of the guitar and a fast turn around once the work and price was agreed upon. Leif is clearly an expert, he left my second hand takamine like brand new and it sounds way better now. He lowered the action, fixed it's dodgy pre amp and gave it a new setup for a very fair price. He also fixed my stagg for £15 when other shops had quoted me £45. Will be coming to him with any guitar related stuff in the future, would highly recommend!

I first met Leif at Koko London. I'd been struggling through soundcheck with a breaking amp. It had been battered and abused across many tours. I'm not sure he even said hello to me, he just started fixing my amp. He was working for the headline band, we were lucky to be supporting. That attitude has continued for over a decade now. Whether he's been setting up my 10-string guitars, saving my 1970s Ampeg v4 (even though I know we should just put it in a skip) or offering advice on how to adapt rotary speakers to work better for me, I can always trust his advice, his skills and his great attitude to make my set ups better. Great prices. I'd be lost without him.

Left in a Fender jaguar to get a set up and a new bridge fitted and it was done quickly and properly. They were also happy to provide recommendations and guidance before I brought the guitar down which I appreciated. Very detailed in their approach as well.

Leif has repaired at least 20 guitar amplifiers for us recently. Each one arrived to him weeping, gasping or spluttering. Some were just flat out dead. Without a bad word or moment of grumpiness (so common with techs!) he enthusiastically has brought every one back to its best. These include 70s Ampegs, Fender Twins, Burmans, Marshalls, Selmers and many more. He has also repaired rotary speakers, guitar pedals, valve synthesisers, tape echoes and more unusual devices that I've thrown his way. One of my favourite things about his service is his interaction and reliability. Leif keeps you updated on what's happening, parts needed, best ways to approach things etc. Having the RnR Workshop in Belfast has improved the abilities of our recording studio by having everything working as they should. He understands and he cares.
