I have bought a few items now from giraffeaudio.com and Nick (the owner) is second to none. They can source anything and quickly too. I'd already given up on Thomann and DV247 ages ago with their 'outside' the UK supply chain and endless, non trackable, not their concern delays and horrible returns experiences. Enter giraffe audio. Nick gives you that 'hard to find these days' one to one service. I recently had a problem with a unit, and rather than have me wait around for ages for a repair, he negotiated a replacement with the distributor for me. There wasn't any, 'computer says no', nonsense. A used unit was swapped out for a new one. Way to go Nick and giraffeaudio.com :)

I was excited to first hear that Nick and Matt set up Giraffe Audio, they are both friendly and extremely knowledgeable with a passion for quality audio. Every one of their recommendations has been bang on the money, often surpassing what I'd expected. The shop itself is a very relaxed environment, even if just popping in for a chat. If I won the lottery tomorrow, Giraffe Audio would be my first port of call!

I simply won't go anywhere else for studio advice and equipment. True customer service from Nick and Matt who will always go above and beyond to understand your systems and workflows to ensure that all purchases are the best moves you can make. Highly recommended!

These guys are very knowledgeable and "they do know there stuff". Nick is a very helpful and full of ideas to enhance your creative productivity. In Birmingham this in my opinion is the place to go if your a sound engineer, producer etc. This guy's have industry insight, years of experience and professional equipment on site. They have different demonstration rooms and the skills to demo professional equipment to you.

I used to buy pro audio gear from Digital Village in Birmingham and was truly gutted to see it shut down. So when I heard that a new shop was opening in its place run by one of the ex DV guys I was really excited. I popped into their showroom in the Big Peg and while its not a conventional shop space as such it has a really relaxed feel to it. Nick and his partner in crime Matt couldn't have been more welcoming. The Giraffe Audio show room is packed full of high end gear, Nick and Matt were more than happy to demo / let me play with everything despite only going in for a pair of headphones. We sat down for a good while, I had a brew and we chewed the fat about pro audio stuff, the world and everything in between. Later they had an Ableton users forum / workshop which was ace, was really nice to meet new people, talk all things Ableton, share some production tricks and generally have a good time. From what I gather the Ableton Forum is looking like it could become a regular event which I am going to try and attend regularly. If I am honest I prefer this place to Digital Village and it's for sure my go to place for equipment and a brew whenever I am in Birmingham.
