Attended The Gin School. Had a great time under the instruction of the lovely Sam. Learned a lot about the distillery process. Enjoyed a fabulous pizza while waiting for our gin to cook. Would definitely recommend having a go.

Absolutely love it here could spend hours just mooching. As a child of the 80s & 90s this reminds me of the old virgin mega store. Great for just about Amy type of physical media you are after including hardware and books and comics.

This store is really good, mainly if you're looking for film or tv merchandise. Its probably a little too big for whats actually in the store but its ok. The staff are friendly and helpful and there are always some good offers on things like headphones and dvds.

Very big store, pretty decent amount of vinyl, maybe could have some second hand stock or rare stuff too. Had to buy 2 CD's as they didn't have the vinyl versions. Great for people who want to buy new releases on vinyl. Would visit again when I'm in Birmingham, hope it keeps vinyl alive.

I am someone who is like in love with music and from this one store alone I have discovered new artists to enjoy I think that if u haven’t gone already to go it’s in Birmingham in town not far from the bullring which has its own hmv too but it’s not a hmv vault like it’s not as big or has as many cds dvds books vinyls and even celebrities

Well located just a few minutes walk from the Bullring. I actually expected it to be bigger? There’s a huge selection of vinyl which will bring collectors in. They’re currently in the process of making a 4K Ultra HD viewing room which will be a good addition. They also had toilets but they weren’t in use? Also turn the heating on! Still. Despite that? A good selection of memorabilia and some quirky little statues. Not worth going out of your way for unless you’re going for a specific reason or event. Or you want lots of vinyl. Will be better when they add more to it. Potential is there for it to be great!

Spacious store, so you don't feel squashed or rushed. Plenty of time to stroll around. Music, film & tv across various genre to interest all; in cd & dvd, blue ray & hd dvd formats. Excellent vinyl and book sections . Plenty of gift ideas from a selection of toys, figures, posters, stationery, bags, t'shirts and more. Helpful staff.

Fantastic store, I went specifically to buy the new Beatles "Let It Be", I have bought every Beatles and Del Shannon records on the day of release since 1964 when I was 15 years old (I am now 72 years old) I bought the 2 disc special cd, vinyl 12" picture disc and the cd/bluray box set, worth every penny.

Plenty of vinyl and space to browse. Good choice of DVD's, Blu Rays and CDs too. T shirts etc books and other stuff. There is also a stage where bands can attend and play to promote their new album etc this is a nice touch. The layout of the store is very poor for sure I get confused when browsing. I think just like all HMV stores the pricing should be better... You can get most things in here cheaper online whether with HMV or alternative retailers.

This is apparently the biggest vinyl record shop Europe. And there are a lot of records here, more than I have seen anywhere for years. The shop is a little out of the way and as a result pretty quiet. The staff are approachable, friendly and obviously know about the music. It's worth mentioning that they also sell a huge amount of DVD and CD and even have a live music stage. But the vinyl is the main attraction here. Recommended for brand new records from lot's of genres.

HMV is the place to be for music & film lovers. Terrific range of vinyl to browse across all genres. A band was giving a live performance the day we visited. Very helpful staff. Plenty of parking in the NCP car park across the road. It's great to have HMV back in town!

Whenever I go into the store to wither enquire about an item or purchase something, there's always friendly members of staff to always help.

It's ok. It says it's the biggest music store in Europe. Well other music stores must be pretty small. This store is on one level so it's easily accessible for wheelchair users. The staff are very knowledgeable about what they are selling. Due to covid-19 regulations I'd have thought the staff would be wearing masks or face coverings. But they aren't. However there is a very good selection of music, films, books, tv series and merchandise. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

This used to be toys r us gone music CDs comics film dvds it's one big room or you could go bullring Hmv in the only difference I can see is that if you can't find what your looking for go to other one might be in there only down the road by peaky blinders pub records as well which every body knows is back in fashion nothing wrong with record player I also heard tapes are coming back yes I did say tapes ha ha have a nice day

Fantastic vinyl section!! With a good selection of titles from any artist concerned. Also has a comprehensive selection of CD's too along with the usual other items of interest normally available

The customer service is amazing as usual. The vinyl collection is huge and making me jealous that I cannot afford to get myself a vinyl player and all the vinyls I want so all I can do is gawk. Also my go to place for CDs DVDs whatnot. Got myself a book there too, they do lots of music and film books, like biographies and the history of films or movies or anything really. I have dreamt of working there for years, now this big one has opened, it is my ultimate goal. Just a wonderful place to be. Clear that staff are passionate, and the playlists are always awesome. Only downside is I literally cannot go in without coming out with something so not great on my bank account! Perfect place to shop for gifts too

I felt like I was in a vinyl heaven. Amazing selection of records with dedicated sections for a wide range of music genres. They also have your usual HMV merch too, like posters.. films, shirts.. you name it.

This place is amazing! It's not only a massive step up from the old HMV (from in The Bullring), it's also absolutely massive, meaning that it has much more to offer. The staff was a little short by the looks of things when I was there, but there are very few people there, meaning that staff is not essential in large amounts.

If you can see past the scale of this place, which is huge compared to any rivals, I think the rest of what is on offer here is possibly a bit underwhelming. Firstly it has no atmosphere. It's a warehouse and has all the attraction of one. Everything is spaced out and easy to move around but the store was empty on both my visits during last week. Over thirty thousand albums and eighty thousand CDs sounds a lot but it does not even fill half the floor space. There are many more aisles of dvds and books plus a technology area and a stage. Then I realised this is virtually the same offer as HMV in The Bullring but presumably at half the rent. It all feels very mainstream. I wouldn't expect to find any specialist records here and not sure whether they would want to order them in if requested. This will attract people in for chart albums and Disney dvds but it will drive others to their independents for a more personal service.

Decent record shop for Vynl media and tech. Pretty good size, everything you need on one big floor. Events stage and lots to look at. Will definitely be going again.

Closer to the centre then i thought it was, very good selection of stuff, is definitely bigger and larger then any other media entertainment store however it is smaller then the oxford street store was (the one between oxford circus and Tottenham ct rd tube stations, probably bigger then the bond street store was though) . Generally it wasnt overly busy in there (which is a worrying sign) it would be interesting to see if it got busier if the bullring store goes which has been romoured to.
