j. h.My favourite record store in the entire world. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgable. He has incredibly hard to find records, often in cool coloured variants for bargain prices. I travel from Leicester to go there every few months, never leave with any less than three records and a massive grin.

Nestled in the Oasis market this store doesn't look like much from the front, but when you start filing through the selection and chatting to the knowledgeable owner you quickly realise this place is awesome.
We left with a record each and a new go to record store.
Don't bother with The Vault, go across the road and visit this place.

If Rich (the quite brilliant owner) hasn't got it in then he'll hunt it down for you. I've discovered some amazing bands purely off his recommendations. Forget the massive chain music store down the road, Ignite is where it's at.
J. S.Great vinyl record store located in the oasis market stocking mostly rock/punk/indie new vinyl. Owned by Richard who is a friendly and knowledgeable guy who i have known for years, i worked with him @ Tempest records. Richard also has his own punk/indie vinyl record label. This store is a essential visit for the vinyl lover.
E. V.I had to go to Birmingham for work related things and only had 1h to spare before heading back home, after a bit of research I decided to visit this small record store and I'm glad I did. If you are into punk rock: this is your place, you'll be stunned by the number of records the have and how cheap they are! The owner is very friendly and the place invites you to go through all the shelves and find that jewel you've been looking for a long time, the problem is that you won't find only one but lots of them so prepare your wallet because you'll be buying more than one record! It was the best of my trip and if I ever comeback to Birmingham my first stop will be on this record store.
