Reviews of Primal Sound
I contacted Sarah to run a Drumming session as part of an event I was organising for young people and their parents/carers. Sarah was brilliant and everyone had such a great time. The workshop was fun, engaging and inclusive and I received so many positive comments and feedback. I would thoroughly recommend Primal Sounds and will be sure to be in touch again for future events.
Sarah and Mark were absolutely brilliant, we did this session at work as part of our 'wellbeing week' and they could not have been more lovely or prepared. The session itself was VERY fun and everyone had a great time! Wouldn't hesitate to have them back
What an amazing experience! Thank you to the wonderful Sarah for our drumming workshop. What a way to end a fantastic weekend at our gathering.
Sarah went above and beyond to create a programme that met our needs.
Just Brilliant!
Sarah delivered a fantastic drumming workshop for the women we work with in a secure psychiatric setting. She was really flexible in adapting to the needs of this particular environment and the women. The workshop itself was brilliant and very accessible - it had the service users and staff all laughing and smiling throughout, one woman said it gave her a sense of freedom
Loved the way the drumming was taught to us, was so relax, easy to take part in and enjoyable. We combine singing and it was such an amazing experience. Sarah was excellent. Would highly recommend you give this a try.
Sarah provided a fabulous Sound Bath for our yoga workshop just before Christmas. The students absolutely loved it and have requested a repeat performance! For my part, it was a privilege to be able to watch Sarah weave her magic.
Absolutely fantastic workshop and brilliant way to break the ice amongst new students. If you're looking for an inclusive, fun activity that everyone can join in then this is definitely it. Sarah and mark were both really excellent instructors and our students definitely saw the benefit of working together as a team and being able to make mistakes without fear of being judged.
We’ve booked Primal Sound three times for work events. One was for our staff conference where over 100 of us were drumming, phenomenal.
We’ve also booked Sarah twice for drumming wellbeing sessions for groups of approximately 15 people.
Sarah really makes people feel at ease. In many instances, those involved haven’t played a musical instrument before but that doesn’t matter.
Highly recommended.
This is the second African Drumming workshop that I have attended. Both have been so much fun and uplifiting! Sarah has a wonderful talent for breaking down the rhythms so you can easily understand what you should be playing. At the end of the workshop, the group play a whole piece together - a great sense of achievement ! I had never played a drum before - so no experience necessary.
We had an hour's workshop for a large group of people from different organisations and every minute of it was fun! Sarah is a brilliant tutor and we were amazed at how much we accomplished in a short time. This is such a great activity for working together, feeling good and just having fun together. Everyone was buzzing afterwards - it brought energy and connections to the group and was a total hit!
