D. V.I have always wanted to Learn a musical instrument.
through many years in my child hood trying Guitar, Piano, Flute, Violin i never really managed to get the hang of it, mainly i think due to the need to be able to read music something i really struggled with.
lessons with Kitty are hands on and i saw results straight away, i did the Ukulele introduction course 6 weeks, and by the end i was able to play a number of different songs, i can also pick up new ones and have used this a lot within my work with Special Needs adults.
I would highly Recommend Kitty/Musical Embers to anyone wanting to learn.
J. F.Kitty is a lovely and patient teacher. She explains everything well and gives time to process it all. She starts with easy chords and gradually introduces new. You start playing and singing songs from the moment you start lessons. Lessons are fun and encouraging.

Kitty is very talented and a great teacher, she fills you with enthusiasm and is very patient. I found the handouts very easy to follow with a good mix of songs through the ages and right up to date. R. E.Kitty is a fantastic teacher! She is full of helpful tips and ideas for how to practice. She individualizes each lesson to work on whatever her student wants. Kitty is always kind and patient and helpful when teaching something new. She also records songs from the lesson for you so you have a practice guide at home. Her six week class is very fun and informative and gives you all the building blocks you need. Take lessons from Kitty! You won’t regret it!

T. L.I took part in the beginners ukulele class during lockdown which was such a lifeline! The class are just pure fun! They're taught in a warm, friendly way & everyone is encouraged to do as much (or little) as they want. The emphasis was really just about the joy of learning a new skill on a beautiful little instrument.
