Matt did a deluxe service on my old Ibanez RG7321 guitar, which was sorely in need of some attention. They did a beautiful job and the guitar came back gleaming! Punctual, polite, plenty of updates on his progress. Would 100% recommend!

Matt has worked on a few of my guitars. Most recently he did a setup for me on a new guitar straight out of the factory. Almost always, a new guitar comes with minor issues that a professional setup will address. Matt listens to how you would like the guitar setup and after checking it, will advise on anything else that may need attention. My new guitar needed the nut slots cut deeper which was why i called him to take a look. He collected the guitar from my home address He worked on it and informed me that also, a couple of frets were sitting high along the fretboard. He adressed this as well as the issue with the nut. He completed the rest of the standard setup with action adjustment, intonation, new strings. Matt delivered me a perfectly set up guitar. I would highly recomend.

Smashing service from a proper pro. Here's my top five: (1) Paying attention to needs before set-up & being interested in what I wanted out of the guitar afterwards. Patient and knowledgeable. (2) Giving suggestions for what may (or may not) work best... which is precisely what I need & love: actual advice from the expert (3) Updates as the work went along - about how the job was going, arrival times for other parts, and checking in on specifics. (4) Impeccable work. Real eye for detail and making sure that it all looks clean, neat and plays beautifully. Super reasonable pricing. (5) Sending through some bloody lovely photos of the work, and final job. (6) What a top 5 this is. Pickup & delivery from Bristol. Yessss. * Matt took care of my bass - new nut, new scratchplate, clean-up, check-over, re-wiring some bits for ease of play and giving a general set-up.

Rickenbacker 330: I contacted Matt after a recommendation from a friend who had used his services in the past. I am so glad I did. My Rickenbacker is 13 years old now and although I try to keep it clean and set up to extend, it had developed a few issues that I was not confident in doing myself - nut bind, and a few high frets. Matt got back to me in less than a day from first contact and we chatted about stuff other than just the guitar which was nice. He picked up my guitar from the site I was working on at the time with no issue, went through what I felt was needed and he also said what he would do. Got it back and the smile on my face playing it was huge. It was already a lovely instrument to play, but now it is so much smoother, and doesn't go out of tune when I am bending strings like a knob! I have already recommended him to several friends who are all having teething problems with their own guitars.

Matt is a great guy, he did a great setup on my PRS hallowbody. The guitar had a few high frets and poor innotation. Matt sorted this with ease; making the guitar play better than it ever has and look shinier than it was from new! He did this over night which is just insane service!! So I was looking for a business to give my beloved Martin 000-15m (Brownie) some TLC, and most guitar stores I contacted were booked till September time! Luckily my Dad came across Matt in a coffee shop and mentioned about my guitar as I was trying to find someone to help give it the work it deserves. Matt didn't disappoint. He got in touch and made the effort to visit me and give the guitar a look over. With his keen eye, he recommended what he thinks my guitar needed and why, doing the job in a matter of days. (A day if my guitar didn't need an extra long Allen key!) Matt will keep you updated with videos, which were brilliant! It helps you see from his perspective and he is able to show you the progress of his work. If I had to recommend him, absolutely! For the money you are paying you are getting a great service, and I will definitely be considering using his services again on one of my other guitars!! Thanks for everything 🤘

I have just been putting my Gibson Les Paul through its paces after Matt worked on it and I can't believe what a fantastic job he has done, it's like a new guitar. Not only does it look fantastic, the action and intonation are spot on and it plays like a dream. In fact its sounding and playing so good in my front room, I wish I had a band again so as I could really open it up and let it roar. Matt has done a great job doing the set up on my Tanglewood acoustic, really nice action on it now, and liking the new nickel wound strings. Very happy with the service and will get the strap lock button fitted from you and probably restring etc when needed too. Kept updated on how the job was going, advised to go for the full fret levelling which was expected having not been serviced for a number of years. No fret buzz now! Very convenient with the pick up + delivery also. 10/10 would recommend
