I've been lucky to actually sit there whilst B Jackson and the dogs have rehearsed. It's an eclectic place of musical passion where strangers at the door become automatic friends through their love of music. Located next to brighton buses and taxi rank for ease on transport. On the Lewis road before the bear in

Awesome and beautiful rehearsal space, bar and food, Vegan options, friendly staff.Win!!!

Eccentric and wonderful rehearsal rooms. Real Brighton feel to it. Staff are very friendly and great coffee in between sessions. Fair prices for rehearsal rooms too.

I am so happy that I've discovered this supersonic place with a funky R'N'R pace🤩💣 Super friendly hospitable staff, makes you feel right at home. People that come here are mostly artists, and it's easy to start a dialogue with someone, you make acquaintances even friendships quite quickly. Thank you guys for having me I will surely be back to this absolutely beyond cool place! 🤟🏻👌🏻✌🏻🤙🏻🤩❤🤪

This place is the most hipster thing I've ever experienced. Where else can you get some of the finest beers (Paulaner, Beavertown and Lervig on draught!) For <£5 a pint... AND buy guitar strings / drum sticks with your round. It's a venue that truly cares about fans enjoying the experience. One thing could be improved is the opaque and insufficient toilet provisioning. Worth it all the same!

As always I really enjoyed the amazing rehearsal large Room's and freindly staff.cheer Sir Michael Knight MK BLUES 🕶️😊

Eclectic Electric ! Came here for a party, not to use the studios. A really interesting space, lovely bar area with plenty of seating and lovely staff. Great garden, lots of tables and sitting areas there as well. Stage for DJ set/bands and space to dance. Quite the hidden gem of a venue.

Great studio. For a rehearsal studio the gear in the rooms is always in pretty good condition. As a drummer the Yamaha kits are all in good nick and skins are usually quite fresh. Use it to rehearse with 2 different bands and to give drum lessons to kids. Good selection of snacks and they have their own bar too! Staff are always really helpful and friendly. Wouldn't use anywhere else in Brighton & Hove.

Probably the largest music studio complex in Brighton (that I know of).
Lots of rooms of various sizes and setups, this is a very well organized operation, with friendly and helpful staff, and there's even an in-house bar, where they also sell some strings, drumsticks, cables and other musical instrument spare accessories - can be very helpful if you get "stuck".
There's a nice seating area at the bar as well, and a garden at the back, where you can enjoy a post-practice pint with your band mates.
They have plenty of back-line items in store, so (depending on availability) you can request a guitar / bass amp of your choice.
They'd make it 5 stars (for me) if:
- Windows could be opened, at least in between rehearsals - as the rooms might get a bit stuffy. (There's AC in a few that totally fixes the issue - but that's probably not as environmentally friendly, nor as economic)
- Guitar amps were better (or more frequently) maintained - they're alright for the most part, but I've had a few with some issues here and there.
(TBH - that's practically not an issue, if there's an actual faulty one - they'll replace it for you, I'm really nitpicking here :) )

We did a gig here for a birthday party. Everyone had a good time and the staff (Tom!) Was super helpful in setting up and striking down.
All in all the staff helped my gig DJing a great success 👍👍👍☀️☀️☀️

Brilliant night spent with Gaye Bykers On Acid. Well stocked bar, large covered smoking area with benches. Great acoustics.

I have used Brighton Electric for a lot of things like live events and video shoots. I can say that it’s such an amazing creative place. The manager Jimmy is such a nice guy and is so helpful because I always have weird requests and he is always happy to help with them. Great place and great team!

Great place, great staff. 5 stars without doubt

I love this place! Always great music in the bar!
Super friendly staff and great equipment.
The sound in most rehearsal rooms is really good.
Best rehearsal studio in Brighton.
Also met Simon Phillips in the hallway !

I've been rehearsing here for about 3 years on and off and it's great. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and they have a good selection of spaces for whatever size of group you are.
The hire prices for equipment, such as amps for gigs, are reasonable and it's easy to do.
The only downside is their bar is a little overpriced. Considering a lot of the customers are students, struggling musicians and it is effectively a 'members' bar, it could be a little cheaper. But then if I drank too much I wouldn't be able to play...So maybe they're trying to help :-)

Lovely space to practice in with a nice friendly bar for breaks and a garden/smoking area.
J.
Coolest rehearsal space around. Rock'n'roll. Great selection of amps and other services plus the best kept beers you can find. Can't wait to come back
j. c.
Great studios. Good kit, good beer. Often interesting snacks. Plenty of emergency accessories behind the bar if you forget something.

An amazing venue and one of Brighton's best kept secrets. From the outside you would think it is part of the bus depot, but inside are rehearsal rooms and a bar. Due to its location noise is not an issue. Great bar and really lovely staff,

Great venue with studios upstairs and good sound
T. W.
Brighton Electric were excellent and really helped make our party great. Josh was an excellent engineer who not only got everything set up quickly he also really worked with the band to get the sound they wanted. He worked well with the DJ and seemed to enjoy the party. The equipment was also really high quality and the sound excellent. I would certainly recommend Brighton Electric and will be using them again

Great rehearsal studios. Small and large rooms available. One of the more pricey places in Brighton, but I has very good equipment. All sort of amps and cabs. There's also breakables for hire which actually are good. Friendly staff. Little bar and cafe. Little outside space out back.
A. H.
Been rehearsing here for years. Recorded our debut album just a couple weeks ago and they were very accomodating to any needs we had. And also a tremendous bar.

These place rocks, it is one of the most widely respected rehearsal rooms in the UK with many famous artists grancing it's rooms.
It comes complete with recording facilities and live rooms. Stocks of famous amps, and classic instruments. A repair shop with spares, an amazing bar that stocks vegan food, has beer on tap and a coffee machine. There is a great outdoor area with heaters and to top it off, it operates as a live venue with a late license.
Oh and it has an arrangement with BIMM / Sussex University.
T. B.
I love these practise rooms! First choice whenever we're in Brighon. Well maintained equipment and good sized rooms. Also there's a spares shop on site, and nice cafe, and friendly staff. 👍👍👍
R. L.
Used their rehearsal spaces twice now and both times its been super easy and convenient. They have so many rooms to choose from and there is usually something available, even last minute. Thankfully there is no deposit to use the rehearsal rooms either which makes using Brighton Electric a no-brainer.
The collection of tube amps available in the rooms is amazing, its always a treat to see what they have set up and you can request certain amps in advance if youre early enough.
The employees behind the reception/bar are lovely as far we've experienced and are always happy to help if we have any issues.
10/10 will rent rooms to scream at each other in again.
R. N.
The best place not just for bands but for music itself. The very hub of Brighton's music scene. Without it Brighton wouldn't be the place it is. If you're thinking of rehearsing or recording anywhere else in Brighton you're making a bad decision. The staff are the best, gear the best, studio the best... I think you've got my point; they are the best. GLUM x
A. M. (.
Excellent place and great value.
I used to use this for drum and singing practice, the staff are always incredibly accommodating and will help you get the sound and help you need.
Equipment hire is super reasonable and drum hire in a private room is a STEAL
J. P.
One of the best practice studios in Brighton, almost always well equipped (you can ask for equipment when you book too). Only criticism is the price is quite high but supply and demand! The staff are always friendly and if something isn't working they are quick to sort it
J. E.
A bar?! In a music practice facility?! And a beer garden?! And vegan food! And they recycle! And a decent back line! And it's CLEAN! (I could go on all day...) Head-and-shoulders above any other practice room I've been to, BUT loses a star because there is just no easy way to load in and out, and a parking space without carrying risk of a ticketing even slightly nearby is feckin' gold dust.
R. H.
Top quality studio, been going here for years.
Great selection of equipment, friendly staff, beers on tap and they even host gigs. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Brighton.
K.
Quirky rehearsal location, plenty of rooms. Great snacks on offer and beer on tap. What more is there to say 😊
M. G.
The thing that differentiates this place isn't the well equipped rooms, the lovely old building, the cafe or outside area, it's the staff, always friendly and happy to help. Without a doubt the best rehearsal space in Brighton.
J. B.
Fantastic rehearsal space, including a bar which is a bonus. Friendly staff, great equipment and all round one of the best in Brighton.
O. B.
Saw a gig rather than rehearsed here. Unusual venue, but nice and intimate. A little pricey, but that's Brighton and the offerings were good and staff affable enough.
j.
Great. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, also a very useful array of spares (strings etc) and stuff too...
C. B.
Great vibes, coffee, studios and bar. Old Victorian building currently being refurbed. Surf shop next door!
D. D.
What a fantastic place for a drink and a gig. Can't say much more other than the music is eclectic and great and bar staff are lovely. Ooh ~ lovely garden too
I. B.
Decent studio complex, parking is a bit of an issue hence 4 stars. Helpful staff, loos are clean and they have a cafe.
E. M.
Good to record here today, and cello sounded lush in the acoustic. Personally found the photos of a naked woman with a toilet, in the mixed-sex loos, disrespectful and degrading to women using them which kind of spoiled it for me.

Looking forward to going back again .
Bit difficult to locate .
Could do with a sign or two outside.
Excellent blink 2 gig .

Excellent service, for bookings it is a joy to deal with the friendly efficient staff. A high level of artistic integrity mixed with a quality "of service attitude" just what I like for Vocal Coaching.

Dope rehearsal studio, really nice staff, great gig venue and it's got a bar! What more could you want.

Great venue with great staff, attended a party which was brilliant and hired a rehearsal room for an hour to let loose on the drumkit.
