It's a great place if you have a lot of eddies to spill, they got exclusive colour print vinyl and all kind of cool stuff. (unfortunately it's not aligned with my taste in music, oh well)

Popped in today before we left Brighton to travel home after our holiday. I must say that this is a very cool and welcoming record store. Great layout and loads of choice. Good prices too! Wish I had longer to browse as there’s more than meets the eye to this place. The prints and t-shirts are a proper draw. I found an album by “Live” that I’ve been searching out for ages and it was nice to hear the owner comment on that purchase. An outstanding shop and I will definitely visit again when we next venture to Brighton. Best wishes, Stu.

Home away from home. You could spend hours browsing through the large variety of records stocked here. The shop has a great layout and the owner has spent a great deal of time making it look as great as it does. You'll find uniquely hand painted art on the walls and outside wall. As well as a large selection of unique prints, t-shirts and pins. Your almost guaranteed to find the latest releases in stock and displayed on the wall. You will notice extra time has been spent on these releases listing next to them the artist, release date and whether it's a limited release/edition. Extending from this all vinyl's are clearly priced and limited releases, pressings and editions are also clearly identified. With local vinyl shops you may find the pricing to be more than the larger retailers however cult hero is an exception. Pricing is extremely competitive against large retailers and you'll even find in some cases they are cheaper. I recommend browsing the sale section as you'll find some great releases at great prices. If your looking for Hip-hop/Rap etc. they stock a great range of titles from old to new. You won't find this genre stocked as it here in other shops in the area. Cult hero is the place to shop and the place your bank balance will take damage from.

Great little shop tucked away in the Lanes, good, if not huge selection of vinyl along with a great selection of prints of band- based art. Well worth a visit if you're nearby and are in to your music. Friendly staff too who leave you alone to browse but are happy to help if needed.

Have been buying records from them for years. Really nice chap runs it, very knowledgable. Has a great mix of new and old and good prices! Their independent so we need to support them so they stay open. Dont buy in HMV if you can get it here!
