J. W.I went into HMV Brighton Churchill Square store, I was a bit lost in there as I needed to get quite a few albums for my wedding Ceremony. I asked a member of staff called Charlie for some help and nothing was too much, he went far and beyond to find me the songs I needed. There was a song which actually wasn't in the store and he recommended a place to go to find this particular one, I found my wedding song Charlie. Thank you so much. 👍

M. D.It's good to see a shop that sells lots of home entertainment items. Lots of vynil records, cds, dvds and bluray on sale. Some good bargains amongst them all. Pleasant staff made shopping worthwhile.

S.Lets be honest yes the Internet is cheaper, yes you don't have the hassle of going out to get stuff, yes it's quick and easy but Where's the fun Where's the omg I haven't heard or seen this in years and picking it up filled with excitement and the want to rush home and listen or watch your find. That's why I love Shops like HMV. What's more import sometimes than the music you love or the films you can't stop watching. Great shop lots of stock and always a bargain to be found.
S. J.HMV is brilliant for music in all the physical forms. Record players, vinyl, CD's, books, T-Shirts, mugs and toys, headphones and helpful actual staff. Support this store. Streaming and online is good, but this is better.

G.A nice size and busy shop, though I just popped in there to browse on what's new and prices. Though some great bargains I didn't buy any, I wanted an easy lazy day and not carry to much. It was an interesting visit as I hadn't been in a Hmv in years, I thought they were online only. The staff were helpful and caring which shows care for all and keeping the shop alive.

Its bigger than my local hmv, also surprisingly dark in the store not sure if they are trying to save energy or just trying to create an ambience.
The good thing is that they have a larger selection of k pop merch and albums which is why we went there.

L.Great selection of film DVDs at often knockdown prices; great for a browse if you prefer to "stick a film in" or want something not available digitally and easily for streaming or watching on a large screen. Staff are generally young, cool types - many are local students I suppose - but unfailingly charming, helpful and polite; light years away from the common "too cool for school" record and video shop staff experience of the 1970s-1990s.

L.Why do staff in the stores subject Customers browsing the store to heavy metal music ( clearly staffs personal choice as all dressed on heavy meatal band tops and gothic style dress ) surely its better to have a good mix of all genres music for all tastes and after being subjected to awful heavy metal couldnt stand it and decided to leave without even buying items I would have. Even an hour later the same style of music was playing in store as I passed again .think of customers would be my advice not just staff tastes

B. M.Although media streaming is very popular nowadays, it is still worth to own some of the media in the traditional format, especially the media with the original packing. You can find the details, interesting information of the records (no matter CD, DVD, Blu-ray......) in all the package come with them. So ..... I will still visit HMV from time to time and refresh this kind of experience. In this shop, you can also find a lot of materials, such as poster, figures, comics, audio accessories......, and the most important media is VINYL RECORDS. You can find the ‘best sound’ from this records if you are a traditional music lover. Come and have a look and you will enjoy this experience.

J. F.Went in to get a present for a friend. Found what I was looking for so all good there. Staff were helpful and courtious with good product knowledge. Only issue is the expense. HMV is expensive compared to online. If I had more time I would have ordered from another provider at a cheaper price.

R.Although the shop has moved to smaller premises on the lower ground floor of Churchill Square it still contains an amazing selection of music related items from cd's and vinyl records to ear and head phones plus other merchandise like branded t-shirts. Still maintains a large selection of different genre cd's even in this era of streaming and online sales. Young staff are very friendly and extremely helpful plus prices and deals represent very good value. Would recommend store to anyone.

Love the great selection of classic films (30s40s50s60s) plus the modern classics I'm quite a fan of syfi films and they have a good selection of them. Staff are few and far between if they are on the till and servings and you can't find what you want getting help is a bit frustrating but overall service is very good so get down and bogey to HMV let's not lose another chain from the high streets

M.It's a rare thing to find a HMV these days and me and my friend were excited to go in and see if it felt the same as when we were 16 ahh seeing cds (especially the rock and metal aisle which hasn't changed 😂) was brilliant I bought 2 tshirts too everything is still reasonably priced especially boxsets and they do great 2 for £10 deals on dvds

N.I like HMV their £5 album rack is what molded my childhood music tastes, and set the foundation for what it is now, along with that i recently did a price comparison with Amazon and was surprised to find that some of the CDs i was going to buy off amazon i could get for less from HMV, why don't HMV put their stock on Amazon?
