I'm probably being unfair, I'll admit that upfront. I used to go to Mr Bongo in Poland street in the 90s, when it was a small, gritty sort of place, usually packed with people and atmospheric. I used to buy mixtapes, mostly. Well it ain't that place. New location, new era, new style. Which is great! But I preferred grimy Soho to the bright and clean Bohemian Brighton location. Like I said, not fair to compare, but I can't help doing so.
