A traditional guitar shop, with decent used gear everywhere.
Staff are friendly, like music gear and can always be talked to.
Plus, as it is a real shop run by a real person, you can haggle from online pricing.
Go in person, enjoy a chat and buy something you didn't know you would find.

Recently bought a 6 string banjo from here, Alfie was very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a great shop to visit!

Bought an Ibanez Pat Metheny guitar there yesterday, excellent price and service. Great selection of second hand guitars that make a change from the generic music chain models that you can buy anywhere. Good luck in the future, highly recommend.

fantastic shop, great guitars and very friendly staff. i brought my bass in for a set up, the cheapest i could find in brighton, and when i went to collect my bass he waived the fees and did the set up for free! cannot recommend this place enough

Amazing array of rare and unusual guitars, Alfie is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and a great guy to interact with. I bought a guitar and amp from him recently and will definitely pop back in when I need more musical equipment.

a store like we do more! a nice and very professional welcome. good advice and a choice of very large vintage guitars and accessories. I bought a small guitar (fernandes) and a guitar string game as a gift, well appreciated gesture. I will be back on my next visit to Brighton. support small shops before they disappear! Interesting and out-of -the-ordinary selection of guitars. A refreshing change from the majority of guitar shops selling the usual predictable Strats and Les Pauls. Owner Alfie is very friendly and helpful and knows his stuff! Well worth a visit! Pete Harris

Super advice, great for getting your first guitar or electric guitar. Certainly was for me and I love my red squire electric guitar. Best buy. Best guy behind the counter too, so enthusiastic!

Guitar shop in North Laines. Alfie is so knowledgeable it's fantastic. Specialises in old and unnusual guitars and amps, also good for strings etc. I think he offers repair service also but not 100% sure on that one. Music shop for musicians.

Great little shop. If you look around a bit there's some great old pedals, amps, and guitars. Especially stuff that isn't from the usual brands. Prices are pretty good too. Definitely worth checking out

Best guitar shop in town. Vintage/rare guitars, amps and effects. Alfie really knows his stuff and is always up for striking a deal.

These dudes are great! Buy, sell, chat. Loads of weirdness along with the usual stuff. Give them a look for something different.
