Myself and my 7 year old son have been having guitar lessons from Reece for several months now and are both really enjoying them. He is able to adapt very well to meet our different needs, with me playing for 25 years and my son being totally new to the instrument. Reece has a lovely manner when teaching my son and shows interest and encouragement, as well as lots of patience throughout. In the lessons we have together Reece has been able to identify where I am as a guitarist and build upon this. He tailors the lessons to include songs and techniques relevant to my preferred musical style and regularly bridges the gap between music theory and real life examples. He also demonstrates very well a fluid and adaptable way of teaching whilst managing to meet the objectives set out at the start of each lesson. Both mine and my son’s playing and understanding of the guitar has improved greatly since being taught by Reece, and I would recommend him to players at all levels seeking to improve upon their skills.

As a total beginner, Reece provides enjoyable and progressive lessons that have helped me gain confidence and learn the guitar quicker than I ever imagined. He had me playing along to a song at the end of lesson one and I've continued to improve with every lesson since. Highly recommended!

Reece has been fantastic; he has taught me guitar from beginner with no previous experience, he is extremely patient. His lessons and follow ups are by Zoom and are extremely interactive and enjoyable. I would recommend Reece to anyone considering taking lessons.

Reece is a very accomplished guitarist and has a very easy manner when teaching, using structured and easy to follow lessons at the right level for the individual student. I have been learning from Reece for a year now and cannot believe how much I have developed in playing, learning new techniques and understanding music theory.
Highly recommended!

Reece is a brilliant, highly skilled guitar teacher. I'm a beginner and he has a way of encouraging and being kind and non judgemental which I have really benefitted from. He listens to what I'm interested in (cos I am learning to accompany while I sing) and responds with tips and ideas in a way that makes me think he can read minds sometines! I'm really enjoying learning guitar with him, the lessons give me a boost and I appreciate the sense of accomplishment and progress

Starting on guitar as a complete beginner, I've had 5ish lessons with Reece so far and he's been amazing.
Incredibly patient and encouraging, he also sends over really helpful material and suggestions to practice in between lessons. I can feel tangible progress being made every week

I started playing the guitar when I was 17 (I'm now 41) and have often joked that I sound more like I've been playing for 6 months rather than 25 years. I've always wanted to improve but hoped that I would find the motivation to do it on my own or by using YouTube etc but it's never happened and I decided that what I needed was regular lessons with a teacher who really knew their stuff. I've been having lessons with Reece for about 3 months now and it's made a real difference to my playing and crucially to my enthusiasm for practice.
Reece is calm, patient, an excellent guitarist (obviously) and a lovely bloke. I look forward to our lessons and like all good teachers you don't want to show up to your next lesson without demonstrating that you've taken on board what they've taught you and improved. I wasn't sure about Zoom-based lessons initially thinking you would perhaps lose a lot of the experience by not being there in person, but the pandemic meant it was the only way and actually I don't think I'd go back to in-person lessons now; it's just so convenient that you only need the allotted hour and don't have to travel etc.
My playing is definitely improving and it's so satisfying to be making progress after so many years of plateauing at a level I wasn't happy with. I definitely recommend Reece.

We can highly recommend Reece as a guitar teacher. He has engaged well with our 10 year old son. He is reliable, makes lessons fun, and plays and teaches guitar to a very high standard.
