Sam is a fantastic teacher. I am an older learner(!) and found him patient, friendly, enthusiastic and warm. The set up at the studio is brilliant, and the lesson time is used really efficiently. He is very responsive to leaning needs and really tailored the lessons to my level, interests, and circumstances. His communication is fantastic, and straight after every lesson I got an email summary of the lesson with reminders/recommendations for practice. i also benefited from loads of great resources on his website. The lessons were fun, interesting and inspiring, and I just loved going. If not apparent already, I wholeheartedly recommend Sam!

Sam is an excellent teacher. He took on board what I wanted to learn and formulated a bespoke learning pathway for me. I've been playing for many years but felt I needed to improve my fundamentals and improve my technique My drumming has improved so much since learning with Sam. Sam is an amazing teacher, he is very proffesional, great at what he does and I couldn't recommend him enough to anybody wishing to learn to play the drums or improve their skills. He makes every session fun and his knowledge is superlative. Having never played the drums before, I came across Sam's number and gave him a call, he made me feel at ease instantly and by the end of my first lesson with him, i was hooked, keen to learn more and he even managed to get me drumming along to a song. He has a fantastic setup and breaks everything he teaches down so it's easy to understand and remember, he has a great website where students can log practice hours, access online resources and videos aswell as see notes from each lesson to refer back to. Having just bought my first drum kit Sam came over to tune it up and it now sounds awesome, Needless to say, I will be continuing to drum with Sam as I don't think there is anyone better, I highly recommend him.

Really good, I love it because Sam lets you get on with it, and also you can play along with him. He is in a band, so he is a professional and explains things really well. Otto (8) Sam has a great rapport with Otto, is always encouraging and I sense they have a lot of fun! Otto literally runs to his classes, and bounces out of them. He's progressed amazingly fast too...He's surprisingly always willing to practice when I ask. Sam encourages equally his technique-development and his creativity, which I think is great. I'd recommend Sam to anyone. Emmy :)

He is a great teacher who ensures that I am continually learning new skills on the drums, and is very patient if I need extra support.
