Absolutley brilliant studio. Affordable, professional and a fantastic facility to record and rehearse with your band. Cannot reccomend James the engineer highly enough. Especially when it comes to drum recording - he's your man!

Cannot recommend Third Circle enough! Fantastic facilities at the studio and in my opinion the most competitive prices around the local area by far. I've had the absolute pleasure to record here a couple of times now and work with James who is an incredible producer and engineer. He has a ridiculous amount of knowledge and is honestly a wizard behind the desk, especially when it comes to drum sound!! On top of all of this he is just a really lovely dude who will always put your music first until you're happy with the final result.

This studio is a real hidden gem. James the engineer's production skills are absolutely top flight - he's fast, accurate and extremely professional. He manages to get a sound that much more expensive studios would struggle to match. Especially brilliant at recording drums, but actually pretty damn amazing at recording everything else as well - and I mean everything - from musical saws to the sound of being dragged through a hedgerow in 3D, Third Circle creates fantastic sounds and consistently high quality. James goes the extra mile and provides excellent value for money.

I've been using Third Circle for many many years and I cant recommend this excellent rehearsal and recording studio highly enough. The spacious live room has quality amps and is soundproofed in all the right places. James, the friendly resident sound engineer, is second to none in his technical knowledge and ability. This, coupled with his fantastic musical ear lets him recreate any sound you want.

Such a great studio. Really nice atmosphere, very good size space, decent backline, great sound quality and no sound bleeding in from other room like in some studios in town. I've not recorded here yet, only used it for rehearsals but James really knows his stuff so hoping to get in for some recording soon. Location is good to, right by the bus stop and train station. Highly recommend checking it out, and if anyone needs a bass player, give me a shout.

Myself and my band have been using this very accommodating studio for a few years now. Seconds from the train station. Clean, spacious rehearsal rooms. Very fair pricing. I wouldn't recommend any other studio in the West Sussex area. Also, speaking as a drummer, James is absolutely the go to guy for drum recording.

I have been using rehearsal rooms and studios to record in the brighton area since 2008. Having recorded with James last year was the best experience I’ve had,such great attention to detail the end product of the recordings just sound fantastic. Also used for a rehearsal space many times and I highly recommend for any band/musician. All around lovely bloke, so knowledgeable will always use third circle for my musical needs. Oh and a very reasonable price too!

My Band GLOVE have only record with James at Third Circle! Not only does he know how to record better than most people and most studios he really seems to care about the music, the band and all the people in it. You will be in safe hands. This guy is the drum man. He knows drums like no one else. The amount of time and effort put into just getting that sweet drum sound we are all after, goes above and beyond. I can big this studio up enough. Just try it for yourself.

Great sounding and comfortable rehearsal space and incredibly high quality recording studio. Independently run with passion. I’ve always been incredibly happy with the results of my sessions here! Lots of effort goes into the details to make sure everything sounds awesome! Convenient location and very reasonably priced rehearsals make it a great place to rehearse regularly. Highly recommend!

My band recorded an EP here in the Autumn, four tracks in three days. They came out brilliantly, really really happy. James was super-professional and got exactly the sounds we wanted, their gear was top spec, and the rooms sounded great. Really happy with the mix. Will definitely record here again.

We used to practice here years ago before it was Third Circle, having then gone to Brighton Electric and now back to Third Circle I have to say that it is an amazing place for both rehearsing and recording. A really nice space, always sounds great when we are practising. James is also super helpful when it comes to recording. We have done a few sessions here now and the result is always fantastic! Third Circle has to be one of the best value for money studios in Brighton!

I don't think any band, of any level, could ask for a better sound engineer to record with than James. Even if you're not quite sure what to sound like, he'll sort it out. And even if you do, he'll probably sort that out too. Fantastic sounding building/live room, great amps, excellent mic techniques and set up, and that sofa's well comfy too, god damn. Run by a top dude, mix architect and purveyor of thicc tones - GO HERE, you will not be let down !

Rehearsal rooms can be a third circle of hell...Moon's patched up drums, Townsend's patched up amps, smelly mics, woefully inadequate PAs and mouldy, peeling walls silently growing the next pandemic...so welcome to the Third Circle of heaven with Jame's Gasson's rehearsal space..it has none of the above listed issues...love this room...love the PA (you can actually hear your vocals above a drum kit!) and James is such a dude, he makes the whole experience what it should be...easy. Highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a hassle free rehearsal where you don't have to constantly ask someone to swap an amp, a lead, a mic, a high hat clutch etc because they've disintegrated before your very eyes..you can just get on with it...plus there's a pub right next door and loads of shops...does it get any better?....NO.

Recorded an EP here and it's the best we've ever sounded. If you're a guitar band who's always wanted to be recorded by Steve Albini but can't afford to travel to Electrical Audio in the US, this is the next best thing!

Any studio ..is only as good as its engineer ....dont matter how great the mics ...the space .. the green room ..how big your swimming pool is ..!! Here ....James..,can engineer.. record ..work out anything you need ..to play, sing, bang and make it sound great even the swimming pool ..... You would be lucky to record with him ,in his studio !!
