Such a lovely vibe from the moment you walk through the doors here - they definitely live up to their name! A fabulously friendly record shop, bar and comedy club all in one - love it!

Friendly records only deserves four stars as we were FORCED out in the middle of a pub quiz. Never before have I been so RUSHED to finish answering the question "what are the fundamental particals that make up the proton". What a rude awakening that was!!! Went to the weekly comedy gig held in the record shop, 'Chops Comedy', and had a great time. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic line up, and the MC was brilliant. There's a bar in there as well.

Went in on the one day of the week it seems to be open to browse some records. The atmosphere was nice and was almost tempted to have a pint at the bar. Found a cool record and went to purchase but there was an issue with the card reader and I was asked by the record store guy to follow him around the shop to find a signal. No friendly chit-chat during this interval which made it feel awkward. Record also came with a band poster that they held separately but the same guy couldn't be bothered to slip it in the sleeve for me. Just lacked a bit of charm.

Great record store some new but mostly used which is great , prices are good, shop is nice and bright . would recommend to any vinyl collecter from bargain hunters to full on audiophiles. Guess what the staff are friendly too.
