Musicbox has been at the heart of the Cardiff music community for over 25 years because they genuinely care about supporting independent musicians and bands. Fantastic facilities for anyone who needs a space to create and rehearse, owned and managed by the two of the nicest guys in town. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Tried a few practice places in the area and some in Bristol, got to say this is my favourite! Came at 1700 which is classified off peak stayed for two hours. After 6 is classified peak hours but we were charged off peak for the duration with free equipment hire. Music box is very accommodating. The rooms are warm clean and tidy. Gear is in good condition. I noticed there was also a facility to store musical equipment probably for a price. Over all impressed and think I maybe a regular. Free parking also!

A great place to practice by yourself or with your band. Good sized rooms fully equipped with PA, drum kit, backline (if needed). Helpful, friendly staff. Covid safe (mask wearing, regularly cleaned, hand sanitizer available too). Simple booking by phone, pay when you get there.

One of my favourite places,home from home. The rehearsal rooms are a great size. There's a PA, mic stands, microphones. You can hire amps and a drum kit if required. Staff always helpful.

The team have always been super friendly and accommodating. I travel to Cardiff quite a lot and sometimes find myself stuck for half a day waiting around and they have always been fantastic at finding me space for single person use for the drums so I always have some practice material and sticks in case I am nearby without something to do for a few hours. I am sure I annoy them but they are proper customer focused. Kit and equipment good and the addition of a guitar tech has been handy.

One of the best rehearsal rooms in Cardiff, Music Box are accommodating, personable, and will do as much as they can to help you out. Tea and coffee facilities are available for a very small cost, the bathrooms are clean, and kit hire for the backline is inexpensive and well maintained. Highly recommend to any serious or hobby musicians. Day rate available.
