I needed my Pioneer SA-506 Amp fixed so I gave these guys a call, they answered the phone promptly and told me to drop it off so Giovanni could take a look at it. I then got a call back later that afternoon to confirm the work had been done and that it'd be ready to pick it up the next day.

I have been going to these folk for over a decade now, and I can thoroughly recommend them for second-hand and classic Hi-Fi, and any other bits and pieces like that. The guy really knows his stuff and the prices are fair, when I check against eBay.
I've got to say that the repair guy is really a cut above. I watched him take apart my old AV amp and it's many circuit boards, locate the fault, fix it with the tidiest soldering I've ever seen, and reassemble it perfectly, within minutes. I am not saying that you all all get your stuff fixed then in there but it will be done professionally and with the right components.
I do hope they get sorted soon with a new shop but in the meantime they are still the people to go for this kind of stuff, and a damn sight better than taking your chances on eBay.

Sadly this place has closed however they are still trading on line . This place is a veritable Aladin's cave of everything desireable in Hi Fi from the 1950's to now. Graham, the owner is also a mine of information and has an uncanny knowledge of what goes with what to create seriously good Hi-Fi. He is a very straight dealer and his prices are generally on the mark for the product and its condition. Giovanni, is the geek carefully hidden in a back room most the time. He is an excellent engineer and can fix almost anything. He is a real craftsman and does exquisitely beautiful solder joints on things. He is knowledgeable about everything from 1950s Valve gear to the latest digital stuff however Graham is likely to chase you out the shop if you are into seriously digital stuff or home cinema:) If you go looking for something specific you will probably find it, but if Graham suggests something else do not dismiss it but give it a listen you may be surprised at how good it sounds!

Fantastic repair to my KEF Q7 speakers which looked like they were going to be scrapped. Can only praise these guys on their customer service and skill levels. Keep up the great work.

nice guy to deal with, not exactly a super slick experience and it feels like it is a hobbyist shop, but , always been fair with good prices , helpful with good knowledge , the stock is a bit here there and everywhere , lots of nice old and new kit,,and, the chap needs to get a good current website with a full current stock list with online shop , if he did i reckon he would make a packet, if you are an EAR audio fan you will love this shop
