Not a drummer myself and no nothing about it but I recently made a purchase from here. Genuine 5 star service from start to finish, can't thank these guys enough for the outstanding service I received. Highly recommended and will most certainly use again if the occasion arises.

Great service as always. Been buying almost all my gear (new and used) at Drummers Only since 2010. Numerous reasons but mainly the service and advice. I've dealt with most of the staff over the years, but mainly the now manager Chris who is a top lad and great asset to the store/company. Whether buying a new kit or a pair of sticks, he always takes time to give advice and support. This time it was a snare head; great advice on both selection and the black art of fitting & tuning. Been a long time customer of drummers only and will continue to be as long as they are trading (which hopefully is a long long time). Always normally Chris I deal with and they are always happy to help and advise on questions about equipment. Brought my 1 year old son in to the store today and he loved it. Anything that he can hit with a drum stick that will make a very loud noise he loves.... So... Easy to see why he enjoyed the store. I don't doubt he will become a customer as he grows older himself. Ordered a Yamaha electronic kit for my son for Christmas. Great service in store, delivered promptly. However the snare drum was a bit loose on the frame and the guys not only ordered a new part but delivered it to my home personally. Great guys, great service and great products.

Fantastic service! Went with my daughter who had so many questions for the guy that served us and he took the time to answer them all. Great range of stuff so she was able to get everything she needed and advice on setting it all up. Can't rate them highly enough, well worth the 100 mile round trip to see them in their new store. I'd been after an 18" floor tom for a while. Bought a second hand PDP. To be honest it doesn't even look second hand. Really happy with it especially as it was practically half the price! I'm in the recording studio tomorrow so it'll be being put to good use. Already rehearsed with it and it sounds pukka! Deep and booming. Can't recommend Drummers Only enough. Really happy and as always your goods are shipped prompt with lots of protection.

Since first going to the shop in 2006 in my 30’s , I’m now in my 50’s and still get so inspired by their vibe and attention to detail and knowledge on everything in the drum world . Having moved to Dumfriesshire in the 90’s from Ayrshire , I wish this shop had been on my door step back then , such a magical place to be inspired and keeps my inspiration up . Fantastic shop with excellent staff. Visited to enquire about a product I had purchased with them online, bursting a tyre on a pothole on the drive over. Went over the product with me and made sure I was happy with it. Mentioned I had a flat tyre and was going to go and wait in the car and they said I was welcome to stay in the shop until recovery arrived and offered me a cup of tea and even a mince pie! Decided to buy a pair of brushes and was given great advice on the differences between makes and models. Store is stocked with a wide range of high-quality items and the staff are knowledgable, helpful, friendly and offer excellent customer service. Highly recommended for all your drumming needs!

The best drum store around with exceptional service. Gordon in particular is my hero. I bought a bass drum via ebay to be shipped to Germany, which turned out to be extremely difficult in the turmoil of Brexit. But Gordon did not give up and I am writing this review to express my gratitude. I have raised the Scottish flag in my garden! :D

We travelled from Perth to upgrade our teenage daughters 20" ride from a Paste 3 to a "well I want it to sound less well... sound better". Chris was fantastic, listened to what she wanted, gave a quick strike demo of multiple rides, of which she picked three to try against her ride in the drum room. We left with a Meinl classics custom dark crash-ride (which she absolutely loves!) , new sticks and Moongel. Excellent service, I sure we will be back!

Really like coming here. It's one of the biggest drum stores around with tonnes of gear, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are pretty good even when compared to online prices. Would highly recommend!

Went in to look at cajons while visiting glasgow, I spoke to chris who showed me a few different options and let me have a play, then asked about what i wanted out of the cajon itself, he and is colleague who I'm sorry didnt catch your name took down lots if not all of the other cajons for me to look at and we narrowed it down to a few and eventually I made up my mind and decided on a mienl with a kick pedal, Chris's colleague also helped show me some different options and features and I even got offered a tea/coffee which is something you dont get ever when you walk into a shop. So I'd just like to say a massive thank you to you both and keep up the great work, I was made to feel very welcome, i didnt feel forced into a purchase like with most other stores I've visited i the past and the offer of a cup of tea/coffee is such a small gesture but greatly appreciated. Only got back into drumming over the last few years but since been invited to Drummers only day out which was a phenomenal full day of successful treatment for “terminal drumaholics” and then got invited to Steve Smith which was amazing. Anyway during his clinic every time he played a “splash” I vowed to order one for my kit. I showed the guys a photograph of the Zyldjian 9” hybrid K and within a week it was in my possession! Super service, good guys and an Aladdin’s cave for drummers. Wouldn’t buy online or anywhere else they deserve our full support !!!.................2nd Review....Called back in Sunday 10th March with the view to buying a new cymbal and trading in an old. In order to ensure i bought right took in all my current ones. Was looked after by Toni McVey who couldn't have been any more helpful if she tried to the extent she patiently helped me eventually make the right choice.I spent over two hours between the drum room and shop trying out loads of cymbals recommended plus given great advice and although i felt at times I was over staying my welcome I was made feel totally relaxed and took the pressure off until I decided to buy not one but two cymbals, new hi-hats, stand and a drum head. Toni played the kit to let me hear from the front which helped me decide for certain. Then wasn't until I went home to complete this review I discovered loads of her playing on videos which was nothing short of awesome!!! didn't realise I had been in the presence of greatness?...........I might not have been brave enough to mess about on the kit If I'd known? Must be the best drum shop in Britain surely? At the time I write this the Google review was 4.8!!! Seriously .....it's 5 all day long!
