D. O.Brilliant music and film shop. Really well stocked with a wide variety of cd's, blu-ray, dvd, vinyl and books. Staff are all really friendly and helpful if needed. I always try and support the High Street retailer where I can, and I think Fopp on Union Street is worth supporting!
A. W.FOPP on Union Street is a digital retailer of music CDs and video DVDs, it also sells vinyl records and books and all this at reasonable prices. It must be quite difficult for this type of shop to survive in the digital age with downloads being the norm but any competition has to be good and they are more attune with normal life, for instance they pay taxes and rates. The service here was as you would expect.

You could spend ages looking for a fine selection of CDs covering all genres, to popping in to pick the latest release.
Friendly staff and wide selection.
Maybe not as good selection as there once was, but that's a symptom of the music and movie buying market as a whole.
Long may Fopp continue.
A. G.Excellent shop for music etc. Unless you know what you're looking for, set aside a fair bit of time to browse as you'll find loads! Just a shame the Byres Road store had to close - it's really missed but it's worth the trek into the city centre to go to Fopp; at least we still have one in Glasgow. Long live Fopp!
e. s.great shop with a great vinyl selection. i managed to get KanYe West's "Late Registration", which i had never found in any other shop. would recommend to music lovers who live nearby.
S. B.Great choice of physical media, selected books and audio accessories at affordable prices. Huge selection of vinyl records, all kept in the ground floor, with the first floor dedicated to 4k UHD BDs, normal BDs. The selection of BDs from Criterion, Arrow Video, Indicator, Second Sight, BFI, Eureka are all arranged neatly and easy to find.
NB: Neither Fopp or HMV sell any Eureka / Masters of Cinema releases anymore.

P. L.Over the years I've visited every branch of Fopp in the country and this is one of the best. It's a huge shop, split over three levels, and has a huge selection of music on CD and vinyl, DVDs, books, and other music-related paraphernalia (T-shirts, posters, and hardware such as headphones.) Prices are great, and you can always find a bargain - it's actually hard to leave the place without buying something! A great shop, as are all of the other branches of Fopp.
