This place is where it all started for me, I got taught how to play drums here and it's changed my life ever since. Me and my school even recorded a single here with the school's band 'Ultimate Sensation' although the music teacher still hasn't let us hear the finished product and don't know what happened to it, but that blame is on her lol. Bu honestly 100% recommend this studio, it's one of the best around.

My two daughters (7 and 8) took part in the week long music school here July 2015 and absolutely loved it. They both take music lessons locally but are beginners. They were very enthusiastic about going back each day to the summer school. They got a chance to try out the drums, keyboard, guitar and vocals and were split into small groups/bands. They made a cd at the end of the week and parents could watch the end of week performance. The week was priced reasonably and kept them amused as well as trying out new things. I would recommend.

Took 5 girls along to record a song for fun. The studios are great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The girls had a brilliant time. We used a groupon voucher which is fantastic value. I would probably look to use some of the add on features next time as the hour went very quickly and I think the girls would have liked to stay longer!

Recently recorded an audio drama at Glasgow Music Studios, and couldn't be more impressed. Erin, the engineer, was incredibly helpful, and her expertise (and patience with us!) were invaluable. Add to that a very fun, creative atmosphere, and you can't go wrong. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fab day for my granddaughter’s 7th birthday! I would recommend Glasgow Music Studios to everyone with children. David was amazing with the girls and they loved every minute. I booked a party room for after their recording too. Thank you for making their dreams come true, we now have some mini pop stars in the making. I’ll definitely be booking again, maybe even for the ‘auld granny’ and her friends next time! Thank you 💖

I cannot recommend this place enough! I brought my daughter and 5 friends on Saturday for a recording birthday party and its all they have spoken about since. Becky was amazing and put the kids at ease straight away and was so much fun. They all sung their wee hearts out and loved every minute! the sound quality on the cds is fantastic ... although I hear it 24/7 now lol. Thank you Becky, we will be back very soon x

We went to the studio recently to record a few songs. The equipment and facilities are excellent and the sound engineer did a great job of getting the recording just right. It's our first time using the studio, and we would definitely go back in the future.

Took my daughter here for a pop star party for her birthday, it was amazing! The kids had such a great time! They where treated like popstars and loved every minute of it, they got the make over with it and it was brilliant, some make up and their hair styled, then had their photo shoot, I can't tell you how much they enjoyed themselves, highly recommend can't recommend enough 😊

My daughter aged 10 went to this week's music academy. She loves music but doesn't play an instrument. She had a great time and would have loved to attend another week but had other plans.The week catered for musicians and novices alike and culminated in a performance to parents.The staff were friendly and encouraging to the young people. It's a great way for kids to spend a week and I would definitely recommend it.

Had a great experience for our nephew who had a singing lesson with Lu and then a recording session with Sheryl. They were both brilliant with him and he had a wonderful experience. Couldn't recommend them highly enough and will definitely return for more.

I booked 2 rehearsal sessions for singing on separate days in the same week , and was really happy and impressed with the studio space, the equipment provided, CD player sound mixer and microphone, and the friendly helpful staff. The cost of hire is very reasonable, and the facilities are warm and comfortable. I will deffinately book to rehearse at Glasgow Music Studios again.

Fantastic Experience. It was my partners birthday and we had bollywood songs. They helped us to get the recording. Moreover, we wanted the songs in our raw original voice (without editing ) and they emailed us within few hours of what we requested and that too on Saturday. A great service I must say. Would just like to send a big Thank You to the team at Glasgow Music Studio.. We thought this recording studio party would be something different for my daughters 8th birthday, so we took some of her friends along to record a track they had chosen. The staff were very courteous and professional, they made us feel very welcome and soon settled any nerves the kids had about their big adventure. The track was mixed to a high standard and they each got a copy as a keepsake, no potential xfactor moments but a very enjoyable and fantastic day out was had by all. If your looking for something different as a birthday day out, I would highly recommend Glasgow Music Studio.

Equipment and soundproofing is second to none, first time in ages I've been somewhere where you can hear every member as well as each other. Drums sounded a bit strange but probably down to preference. Quite pricey for a 9-12 evening slot which was £40 but you are paying for high quality. Staff very helpful and happy to help. Due to the size of the band (5 piece) much preferred the largest of the rooms. So if you don't mind spending an extra tenner I would recommend for larger bands.

Started DJ lessons with Stevie a few months ago. Relaxed enjoyable and encouraging coaching has built my confidence quickly. Sometimes when learning new things as a beginner you feel uncomfortable when starting from scratch,- not at the music studios, balanced well paced lessons which build your knowledge at a pace that suits the pupil. Due to the professionalism of the coaching you cant help but feel your in really good hands The studio staff are helpful and friendly and make you feel extremely welcome. If you're a music lover who wants to learn in the best possible environment, give Glasgow music studios a shot, you wont regret it.

Convenient location. Excellent equipment (esp the guitar and bass amps provided) and great sounding rooms- could hear the other band members really clearly with no muddiness and excessive reverberance I have sometimes experienced in other facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice wee extras like plectrums available to buy at the front too.

The Fat Tuesday Band have used this studio for around two years now and although it's slightly more expensive for rehearsals than some other Hlasgow studios I'd highly recommend it. Easy parking friendly easy going staff. Excellent communications regarding bookings and a variety of different gear in each room. Easy access too.

Wanted a placed to go to play some songs at a decent volume (just acoustic guitar + voice). Pods at GMS are excellent. Clean & tidy with good ventilation, lighting and movable acoustic baffling. Room was prepared before I got there (so no time wasted) and I was able to practice in peace. PA sounded loud and clear. Mic & cable, stand, chair & music stand all there. I've had to bring everything but the kitchen sink along to studios before. All in all, couldn't fault the experience. Will be back and would definitely recommend

I have been twice with friends to record songs just for fun. On both occasions we have had a lively time and the staff have been very helpful. Just one wee hiccup with our Grouoon code not being entered and had expired however the staff agreed it was their fault and honoured the session. Will definitely be going back.

I would highly recommend dj lessons at the studio with Stevie. I first started lessons as a 30 -something house head keen to learn the basics of mixing and building a set. In the digital age its easy to pick up a cheap console, hit sync and mix away but Stevie takes the time to teach you beat matching. Once you have the basics, the emphasis moves on to building energy through your set by performing a mix on which Stevie provides feedback. It puts a bit of pressure on before every lesson as you need to pick out your tunes and build your set but of course this is good preparation for a bar/club set. Stevie also gave invaluable advice when I was buying new equipment and pointed me in the direction of some decent producers and labels.

Booked a kids party and the staff were extremely helpful. The kids had a fantastic day and enjoyed being pop stars for the day with a little bit of diva thrown in. To entertain 8 teenage girls is no easy task but everything was taken care of from the cupcakes to the personalised cds. A truly great day out and recommended. 5 stars :)

I managed to record an entire album here in 4 days, and a 5th day for mixing! I rehearse here regularly, also with my band. I'm not one for hyperbole or whatever, but I couldn't recommend this studio more highly. The quality of the finished product has impressed everyone who has heard it - even leading some folk to suggest me and Hans the engineer form a partnership (?!?!) - not sure how he would take to that! For any kind of rehearsal/recording, solo, group, instrumental etc, I would be confident in saying you won't get a better situation anywhere. This is a studio that will treat you as a proper person as much as anything else. Other studios should maybe take note!

The DJ class with Stevie M is excellent. Great teacher and decent equipment to use. I started with the DJ course and eventually Stevie taught me how to use production software like Abelton Live and Logic Pro. Highly recommend Stevie's class!

If you are a complete novice wanting to learn how to dj properly,then I would advise you to contact Glasgow Music Studios to learn from Stevie sole Middleton.He is very patient,knowledgable and friendly and provides constructive critique to help you develop your skills.I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be back soon to continue on "the journey." My 11 year old son Alfie was at GMS's Music Academy for a week in July and he says, "it was really fun and enjoyable, and I made tons of new friends. I thought the teachers were excellent, I got to try lots of different instruments and I really liked the bass guitar.
