An amazing selection of records and cds! Well laid out by genre and alphabetically, with thousands of records for sale. Cool wall art too! Particularly like the Joy Division painting at the entrance. Could easily spend hours in here going through everything. A record lovers’ treasure trove.

Massive collection of Vinyl, CD's and DVD's for the music collector it's paradise! Limited edition box sets, rare and not so rare. Reasonably priced you could easily spend a few hours browsing. Well worth a visit when in Glasgow. Easy walk from the station too.

Huge selection and, as such, be prepared to spend a bit of time digging. You’ll probably find something you want. Lots of multi-buy offers on the cheaper stuff and the more collectible records are up on the wall. Well worth a visit.

I loved Missing through the late 90s and early 2000s. I think the last 20 years have killed off what it was unfortunately, but it was still nice to go and have a lengthy flick through what was there and pick up a couple of things.

This is a fantastic record, CD, dvd (and more) shop on the side street in between the radisson and Central Station. An extremely wide range of cds at bargain prices (most at 3 for £5). Albums you've been looking for. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the largest second hand record store in the UK at the moment. I think they should consider selling online.

Huge selection very well sorted, a pleasure to browse through. Bought a pristine 1976 reissue of a Tom Rush record — I'm talking near mint if not mint for both the sleeve and media. Very reasonably priced considering the condition, and the staff checked the state of the record for me. Getting home I was not disappointed and have been playing it on the regular, I'm just so delighted with it!

Spent a few hours in this shop a couple of weeks ago. Prices very fair and certainly much cheaper than vinyl shops in London . Paul helped me choose the best versions of several LP's and all staff are very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend a visit if you like your vinyl . Great shop for CD collectors, they've a huge range of titles from 50p. Got a huge stack of albums for £37. Well worth a couple of hours browsing if you're still buying CDs!

If you have time to browse you are almost guaranteed to find treasure at Missing. Stock level is vast but magnificently organised. Friendly staff and very sensible prices make the whole shopping experience a pleasure. One of my favourite record shops anywhere.

A wonderful establishment. The choice of records is just so vast that my first visit was more than one hour. There is a great choice of both CD and vinyl records. There is also a massive collection of DVD and Blue Ray movies. As a collector I was able to find a full set of The Riddick Chronicles and spend 2-3 pounds. Visiting this shop is even addictive for me and I will definitely visit again. Greatly recommended!

The best record shop in Glasgow. Great prices, friendly staff, and huge range of CD and vinyl. It's only when you go to a shop like this that you realise just how much terrible music there is in the world. The good news is that even though 90% of the stock falls into that category, the part of the other ten percent that catches your eye is more enough to empty your wallet with every visit. Go in wealthy, come out happy.

Missing is a superb store with lovely people great ranges and great prices. Basically altogether a lovely experience. Indeed from Doctor Who to Vodoo there is something for everyone. Really good selection of second hand cds, dvds, blurays etc at low prices. Great for picking up older albums that are either no longer available to buy new or are now only available in needlessly expensive deluxe editions. Staff are very down to earth and good to deal with.

Missing is a bit of a "lucky dip" of a shop, in that they have a vast amount of stock but you have to root around a bit for it! The ground floor is mainly stocked with second hand CDs and DVDs, whilst the basement has more DVDs, vinyl, and books. Prices are low but the stock is variable in terms of range - don't expect to get new releases here, and most of the vinyl I looked at was probably from the 1970s! Good for a rummage.

I've been going to missing records for more than 20 years now and to me it's the best record shop in Scotland.

Popped in when I had some time to kill on a recent visit to Glasgow and ended up picking up 7 second-hand CDs for £16 (I thought it should have been £17 but the helpful assistant put me right). When I got home (to England) I realised that one of the CDs hadn't been put in the case so I phoned to see if they'd honour it and put it to one side for a friend to collect. Guy on the phone wouldn't hear of it - insisted it was their mistake and they'd mail it out to me straight away, which they duly did. So, bargain prices AND great customer service. Well worth a visit.

Missing records has a magic quality of its own. Sure you could go to CEX round the corner but you would miss out on quality records as well as DVDs and CDs. Missing's manager and staff have an air of passion about them that cannot be faked or taught. The shop hosts a Wolfson gallery of artwork on the walls that would challenge a Banksy any day of the week. It will be sadly missed when the shop moves to Oswald Street some 80 yards away in August 2019.
