This is a great place for a good browse. Focus on the vinyl, with some great collectables adorning the walls. Good mixture of used and new. On my visits so far I've come home with something I wasn't expecting to find. Second hand sections include extensive jazz, folk and classical vinyl. Plenty of pop, rock, soul and punk too, as well as quite a decent second hand DVD section.

This place is not easy to find, it being down a side street.That said it is a worthwhile place to visit if you like music. Records are on offer at reasonable prices if you don't mind looking for them amongst racks.There is a section devoted to current releases and repressings on heavyweight vinyl. The premises are not large so please bear that in mind when you appear with your rucksack/handbag. Music can be played here (at least at the moment) on both CD and record, so you can test your purchase before leaving the premises. Leave yourself plenty of time to browse, and you can pay by cash or card.

This wee place can be a diamond mine for 2nd hand vinyl and very quickly relieve you of that surplus cash you never had to start with. Also good place to trade in any vinyl that didn't survive the annual cull as they give pretty good trade in value and easy to find stuff to"swap" it for...

Great second hand record shop, mostly vinyl some CDs too, some New items. Check the just-,in bins and if you have more time check the other shelves. Good for rock jazz soul post punk and classical. Owner Peter is nice and will help you find a decent second hand record player too if you needing one. They have good dvds usually also.

Top independent record store in Glasgow’s west-end. It has everything from records to CDs to tapes and DVDs, spanning most genres. Any time I’ve been in, whoever’s working is happy to chat and recommend something if you fancy taking a tip. Good prices on records by mainstream artists and you can also pick up quality cuts of classic artist best-ofs etc. Plus it’s right next door to Voltaire & Rousseau and the Tchai-Ovna tearoom so you really should be able to top up your culture-o-meter in an afternoon out!
