Such an easy transaction. Paid for it on Thursday afternoon. Played it on Friday morning. Exactly as advertised. Very, very fair pricing. Knowledgable and approachable owner. Second guitar I've had from Guitar Trade Centre - Jim Ramsey, I don't think it'll be the last.

Big thanks to Jim at The Guitar Trade Centre for his very knowledgeable and honest appraisal and valuation of my vintage guitars during my recent visit. I was very impressed by the high level of skill and attention to detail displayed by both Jim and Stephen the guitar tech who was able to sort out a few issues with my instruments with no drama. This included a full wiring check, truss rod adjustment and set up . . . all while I waited...first class and very capable tech! Would highly recommend this shop for all your guitar related needs as these guys really know their stuff.

Been watching The Guitar Trade Centre on Facebook for a while and have been impressed with the guitars they have been selling - and their willingness to help people out with valuations etc. Was just a metter of time before right guitar popped up for me - really easy and decent to deal with - and a cool wee shop - if I hadn't had my heart set on the guitar I bought, there were 2 or 3 others I would have happily walked out with! Dealt with Jim on several occasions and I can honestly say that he is one of the best guys in the business. I would highly recommend the Guitar Trade Centre having bought several guitars and numerous pedals. Excellent service all round.

Saw a Murphy lab 64 sg at a very good price. Had seen it advertised online but couldn’t travel (from NW England) to try the guitar out so I just read the shops customer reviews and looked at the pics/description etc. Decided to buy so phoned Jim on Thursday morning had a good discussion and payed there and then over the phone with my debit card. Guitar arrived very next day just after lunchtime! It was boxed and packed perfectly and I was able to track its journey right up to delivery exactly on time. Guitar is fab and was exactly as described and pictured. Would definitely buy from this store again and am very happy to recommend for smooth hassle free and pleasant guitar buying🎸

I have bought 2 guitars from Jim at TGTC and have been more than happy both times with the service provided. I had both guitars shipped down to east anglia from Glasgow and they were really well packaged to prevent any damage. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Jim certainly has the eye for quality guitars and amps. Buy Independent!!!

Went to TGTC with my friend to buy a beautiful buttercream strat that I had my eye on. A fantastic music shop. Jim, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable about the gear he sells. His prices are fair and his customer service is the best of all the music shops in Glasgow. To quote an old Cuprinol ad, 'it does exactly what it says on the tin', don't go looking for the latest floor based amp simulator pedal, or some multi effects unit released 2 months ago, go looking for guitars. The Guitar Trade Centre buys, sells and services AWESOME guitars. I've been a semi-pro player since I was 20. I'm at a much more ripe age than that now, but please rest assured, to buy a quality 6-string, I'll go nowhere else. Well done Jim. It is a pleasure whenever I visit your shop. If ever I sell my motor....I'll buy a high end acoustic. 😊🎵🎸❤️

I recently jumped into GTC initially just to have a little play around with some pedals. After speaking with Jim about everything he has on offer, I was able to walk away with a fantastic "Turnip Green's" pedal. Thanks for the recommendation Jim - great shout! I'd highly recommend everyone to make the trip to GTC as the staff are really helpful and the selection of pedals and guitars is second to none!

Bought a US Fender Strat from Jim and the experience couldn't be better. It's always a bit of a worry buying an expensive guitar without playing it first but this guy is great to deal with.
