s. s.Sam was absolutely brilliant in diagnosing playability issues with an acoustic guitar I'd not touched for years. It came back to me feeling comfortable and sounding clear as day. He'd also identified a characteristic of the guitar's body which will be helpful to know and be sensitive to during future recording sessions. Sam's obviously someone who really cares about instruments working at their best. Cheers for taking a look.

M. F.I’ve recently taken 4 guitars to Ackworth guitars. 2 were for set ups which came back fantastic and played really nicely. The other two were for more work. I had a 12 string on which the bridge had snapped. Ackworth repaired the bridge and it is now back being loved and played. The final guitar had a crack in the body under one of the tone pots. I was told by multiple guitar shops that nothing could be done about it. Ackworth we’re not only able to repair the crack but also paint matched it amazingly and if it wasn’t for the memory of me knowing it was there I wouldn’t be able to tell you that the guitar body had previously been damaged. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. I’d happily recommend Ackworth guitars to anyone who needs work doing on their instruments. Top work guys and thank you!

I'd had a bad experience with a guitar shop in Wakefield who had attempted to fix my instrument, and I needed to trust whoever looked at it next. Tristan's understanding of the guitar is second to none. I would recommend them to anyone who wants their guitar fixing correctly.
