Very good place to get gifts, especially for the kids, including: A very large range of DVDs, ranging from Disney to Studio Ghibli to underappreciated indie films, geeky colouring books, merchandise, funko pops, posters etc. There is also a plentiful selection for adults.

I visited hmv in Lincoln purely out of curiosity as I thought that hmv had gone into administration and I didn't realise that they had any physical stores anymore. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in, there was a lot of vinyl, and it was all catagorised alphabetically. There was also a lot of things like headphones and record decks and film merchandise and posters. It seems that hmv have diversified quite a lot as well as having a huge range of DVDs and rare albums.

The staff here truly care about helping you find what you need and some will even suggest new music that you may be interested in. Some of the categories of the Cd's do seem a little far fetched like My Chemical Romance in the metal section but I suppose it keeps the shopping experience interesting as you never know what you're going to find.

This store has a reasonable stock. I would prefer it if it were to concentrate on selling LPs and CDs but that's a comment for the chain more than this individual store. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always helpful. It's pleasing post administration that the new buyers proport to be music fans could get the brand back to where it deserves to be.

It's HMV - what's not to like! Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. The LP selection is not brilliant but there is usually something to take your eye.

If you need to complete your movie collection they might have that particular cartoon in the long shelving unit at the end on the left hand side. Good discoteque music when its less busy.

HMV music and other stuff..... Love em all and can't fault em.

bought some earphones 2 years ago and they still work. well, i think they do, i can't find them anywhere

Can spend ages rummaging through the cd's and films. Staff are helpful and friendly. Queuing system doesn't work. There won't be any soon though as most of what they sell has been rendered obsolete through online music and Netflix etc.

Good place to get all the most recent music, movies and games. as well as older releases. There is a area for CD's but also a vinyl section where there is recent and older artists on record. There prices are pretty good with 2 for 1 offer's and such which allows for good deals to be had.

A good selection of vinyl and HMV sometimes have special limited edition coloured vinyl or picture discs. The loyalty scheme is a bonus too. The staff are helpful and polite.
