Disaster struck when my guitar lead got stuck around my chair and unbeknownst to me was still plugged into my acoustic - so I yanked the lead (stupidly) which then sent my acoustic flying off the wall and fracturing the headstock/neck...I was in bits, so was the guitar! A beautiful Gibson J45. Up stepped Jaime and repaired her to her full glory and you wouldn't notice a thing, a really good guy and so so helpful about how he was going to treat the guitar. my Guitar tech for life now! superb service and a great friendly chat to.

I found Damn Good Tours online and reached out to get one of my guitars served. Jaime was friendly, knowledgable, and enthusiastic, and I ended up asking him to take a look at two acoustics and an electric. He did an incredible job with all three.
His servicing was top notch, addressing specific issues I had, highlighting things he'd also noticed, and making sure I was clued in throughout. Most notably, he redid the fretboard on my 20+ year old childhood Washburn, a real labour of love for a (to me at least) priceless artifact of my youth. The pictures don't do justice to how mind blowing the difference in tone, quality, and playability is.
I can't recommend Damn Good Tours enough—the attention to deal, quick communication, and the quality of work were beyond my expectations. And even moreso, Jaime is a great guy to work with. Thanks so much!

From the first (very responsive) email exchange to the final service, this was a genuine 5* experience.
Throughout Jaime kept me updated with how he was getting on and flagging any issues with the guitar which needed my input/decisions to be made. Although just a set-up, he spent time ensuring the intonation was bang on and it is now sounding richer, fuller and solid. There was a hardware issue with a tuner and he offered solutions and was happy to source and install if needed.
Will recommend to friends in the area, and be back soon I am sure!

I found Jamie on instagram and got in touch to get my jazzmaster tidied up and serviced. Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic, Jamie did a great job on the guitar and it plays the best it has done since I've owned it. Cant recommend Damn Good Tours enough for all your guitar based needs. Already dropped another guitar off and I'm sure there will be many more! Thanks again!

I found and followed Jaime on instagram and soon needed his help to bring to life an old 70's Columbus Les Paul. From the new nut and strings, to a deep clean of the hardware (screws and all) and fretwork - he gave me back a guitar I can't put down. From first DM to email and over the phone, Jaime was super easy to talk to and explained everything clearly and simply. All much appreciated. Thanks.

Jaime is a great guy, very friendly. I could of chatted with him about guitars for ages! He fixed my Jackson no problem, and was really great value. I would highly recommend!

Great guitar repair workshop in Konk Studios. Jaime is a top bloke and has fixed up two electrics and my acoustic so they look and sound fantastic again. I'll be back for a service to keep them in top form.

Two of my acoustics now serviced and setup by Damn Good Tours. One had a strangely damaged bridge and was beyond repair - even after work had been done, no charge! That will be repurposed as furniture/art.
The second plays better than new, looks and smells(!) great after DGT did their stuff. Very friendly, knowledgeable and all round good person doing great work Highly recommend for all you guitar setup needs!

Fixed up my 12 string and chorus pedal in no time, everything plays perfectly now. Super friendly, knows what he's doing and delivers quickly for a reasonable price. Easily my favourite place to go in London for all things guitar-servicing & repair

Really fantastic, quick and very reasonable- Jaime is hugely knowledgeable- my lovely old handmade Yamaha plays like a new - much better- instrument. I also took a Martin for him to have a look at - and he said 'perfectly good nick - the pickup wiring is a bit loose - here's some clips - that should do it'
A real gem

I have this Brazilian guitar that was made for me by a luthier years ago, and unfortunately I had a bad experience with a guitar tech in the USA who ruined the neck of the guitar with a bad refret. Luckily I found Damn Good Tours online. I took the guitar to Jaime and he got it right for me. Very professional service, recommended. The guitar plays like a dream now! :)

Jamie's page came up as a sponsored ad on Instagram which was excellent timing.
I had two guitars that he took care of - one of which I hadn't played in about 15 years.
He kept me informed during the process and it was actually great to learn from him.
He's brought a new lease of life to two of my most prized possessions and I couldn't be more grateful.

Super friendly service, great value. Guitar came back with new hardware installed, looking shinier than the day I bought it! Plays like a dream now. Even in COVID times, made the whole process super easy and was incredibly flexible with all my requests and queries!
Thank you Damn Good Tours :)

I took my neglected Squire Strat to Jaime and he has completely overhauled it. 10/10 would recommend. Touring musicians, hobby guitarists, those on the precipice of buying an instrument; your guitar needs him.

Jaime fixed up two guitars for me and did a beautiful job with both. Was always quick to reply to messages and did a great job diagnosing the issues with both instruments.

The peg of my guitar had broken off and Jaime fixed it quickly as well as replacing all the strings and cleaning the whole body! Feels like a new guitar

Really good and friendly, efficient service. Jamie clearly knows his stuff and made my (VERY neglected guitar) sound like it hasn’t in years. I’ll be recommending him to everyone from now on :)

Jaime listened and understood the ask. Then when one of the 3 amps wasn't just right, he held on to it until he got the right part. So refreshing, and great value. Hope something else needs tlc soon!

Jamie recently worked his magic on my very tired Jazzmaster and it's now surpassed it's past glory and feels the best that it's ever done.
